Conor was a dirty little gem before the UFC got to him. I remember watching him knock the soul out of Ivan Buchinger on Cage Warriors and said there and then ‘This guy is the next big thing’. Saying that there is no long game if Conor gets beat is retarded. The UFC has been running STRONG since ‘93 and is still and will always be (until the Knight Fighting thing gets huge) the most entertaining company to follow. People are so quick to attack this guy because he has the balls to grab the company (and the fans) by the balls and say ‘WE’RE HERE TO TAKE OVER’ and pave the way for other fighters to try and do the same. Whether or not he can prove himself tonight is another matter but you have to admire what he’s done so far.
