Wands!!

I finally got around to making these lol:

Here’s Shadow’s wand: (holly, thestral hair)

Here’s Sonic’s wand: (black walnut, dragon heartstring)

Here’s Silver’s wand: (hazel, mermaid hair)

Here’s Jet’s wand: (ebony, phoenix feather)

Here’s Rouge’s wand: (red oak, Veela hair)

Their wand types will most definitely never come up in the story lol, but having them down and knowing what they are is kind of cool.

Does anyone know any fanfics that show off Jet’s character really well? I started writing a scene with him and realized I don’t know him very well.

The Fandom Wiki has compiled them into a sheet (the random names you don't recognise are from a mobile game)

And for wand cores: tumblr post from the same person with headcanons about the barely mentioned cores. I know someone sent you a reddit link about cores but I wanted to contribute to that one too :)

Oh and patronus! That's a bit harder, because most of them aren't explained on pottermore (only few of the most common and most rare ones) and most analysises on them are interpreted differently, you can just look up the symbolism of one animal and maybe fabricate something from those. But there's a list of short interpretations on Goodreads or on this carrd. But if you type in "[animal] patronus meaning" you'll get some blogs from tumblr too.

I really appreciate the links for wand woods and cores! It’s been a nightmare trying to look them up, honestly lol. And I appreciate the patronus one as well! Although I feel doubtful that it will ever be important to the story I’m writing, it’s still cool to have planned out.

Hello! For those who don’t know I’m trying to write a fanfic that puts Shadow, Silver and Sonic into Hogwarts. I finally sat down and started writing the first chapter then realized that I forgot something.

Jet’s “sidekicks”.

Like, who’s going to be his Crabbe and Goyel?? I know I could use Wave and Storm but I just don’t waaant tooo. Mostly because I don’t overly like them lol. Does anyone have an OC they wouldn’t mind me using as a “bully” character? If you do, give me their name and a few things about them and I’ll message you about them if you feel comfortable with that!

Dragon heartstring: Loyalty, prone to accidents.

Unicorn hair: Most difficult wand to turn to the dark arts, consistent magic.

Veela hair: Tempermental and unpredictable, powerful.

Thestral hair: Usable only to those who have seen death. Unstable and difficult, powerful.

Phoenix feather: Independent, able to use a wide range of magic. Hard to tame, extremely picky with weilder.

Rouge would have a veela hair.

Jet would have a phoenix feather.

Has anyone ever taken the time to think about what kind of wand the Sonic characters would have? I’m not sure if this’ll be important or not lol, but if anyone ever wanted a time to share their thoughts on this, I would love to hear them.

I know that every aspect of what the wand is made of matters lol, but the only thing I really know is that unicorn-hair cores make it harder to cast dark magic.

Other than that, I have no clue lol.

Oh well.

I’m trying to get an idea of how common it is to get each House (like do more people go to Hufflepuff vs Gryffindor, for example). Just because this has been bugging me and now I need to know:

It’s fine lol. When I put that loll up I didn’t even think about the fact that some Houses might be more or less likely to be on Tumblr in the first place

Okay, so, for people who don’t know—I kinda suck at drawing the Sonic characters. I can write them all day—but drawing them is a whole other story.

…Would it be possible for me to beg people for art of Shadow the Hedgehog as a werewolf?? Like, if anyone wants to design his werewolf form (without looking too much like the werehog—I want it to look wolf-like).

AND for the people who are reading this and don’t actually follow my blog—I’m writing a fic (although it is currently still going through the outline process) where Shadow, Sonic, and Silver (all brothers) are at Hogwarts, training to be wizards.

…Except Shadow is a werewolf because I say so and now he has to deal with it hehe.
