He quickly began to take Adderall for more than what it was diagnosed for.

one thing no one knows about him is... for as long as he could remember, his mother wasn’t the most stable of people. He really had to rely on himself for basic things, things he should have been able to rely on her for. He was young the first time it happened, one of these men waited for his mother to slip into a drunken and drug-induced sleep before he went into the small boy's room and touched him. one thing no one knows about her is... gymnastics wasn’t just a hobby for Allie, it was her life. She has had her eye on a gold medal for as long as she could remember and has been training for just that since she could walk. Last year she got into an accident during a competition, which forced her into an early retirement. After completing physical therapy she was told she would never be able to train again. This mixed with the prescription for pain medication she was given when she was injured caused her to lose herself completely. It’s been just under a year and she hasn’t been able to step foot into a gym, she can’t even look at the monkey bars she once trained on as a kid at the local park. Becoming a shell of the woman she wanted to be, her addiction to those pain pills has slowly become a problem as she fears she can't function without them.

Before High School, his parents had him tested and the results came back positive for Asperger’s Syndrome. Where some cases can be severe, Brooklyn’s is less severe, and he can go about his everyday life almost as normal as everyone else. Not everyone knows of Brooklyn's condition.
