Ive only ever watched the movie on an illegal website so im not sure which streaming services you can watch it on but if you have a site you use it’s probably worth it to check there

It’s an animated movie so if that’s not your thing I’m telling you now

Google is telling me it’s on prime video so if you have that then check it out!

Cuz if you do like animated movies then it’s 100% worth the watch even if you end up disagreeing with the points I made in the original post cuz honestly that movie made my childhood

Tim Drake as Astro Boy

Tim Drake who is ridiculously intelligent, talks a mile a minute and reckless

Tim Drake who will never live up to the legacy of a dead boy, a dead son.

Tim Drake who is trying to find his place in the world

For those who have seen the movie Astro Boy you might be tempted to have Jason be Astro Boy and I genuinely do see where you are coming from but you are also Wrong

Apart from the whole dead kid thing, Jason and Toby/Astro Boy genuinely aren’t that similar

I think Tim would fit Astro Boy perfectly and when he goes to the surface THAT’S when he meets Jason/Steph/Duke/Dick and whoever else you think would fit.

Anyway that’s all I have to say for today

Saw someone on TikTok say that Ivan sacrificed himself for nothing and I am RIPPING my hair out about this shit.

Ivan’s sacrifice for Till mattered even if Till loves Mizi even if Till ended up dying in round 7

Because Ivan knew his feelings for Till were unrequited since they were kids he knew that sacrificing himself when Till would go up against Luka next would probably lead to Till’s death anyway.

Ivan sacrificed himself so Till could survive because there is no universe in which Ivan could live with himself if he won round 6 and Till died instead of him. There is not a universe where Ivan does not sacrifice himself for Till’s continued survival. So it does not fucking matter if Till loves Mizi or if Till died in his round against Luka because Ivan’s sacrifice wouldn’t have been in vain. Ivan’s sacrifice still means something as long as Till got to survive long enough to see Mizi again as long as Till got to survive long enough to go up against Luka in the final round.

Ivan’s sacrifice was not in vain and I will be throwing hands with the next person to insinuate this

I don’t understand people who say that representation doesn’t matter

Like specifically people who are white American or something like that because sure you think it doesn’t matter but it genuinely meant everything to me when I found out Cassandra Cain was also half Chinese?

I don’t know how to stress how important representation is even just to make someone’s day that they’re being seen!! They exist outside of their own bubble and their identity is the same as a beloved character or something along those lines

I don’t know it just baffles me because I can understand not realising how much representation can matter to certain people but going so far as to say it’s not important?? Especially in today’s society when everything is built on the media and who we see online and what they do.
