it really bothers me when other nonhumans talk as if theyre not living on the same planet as all of us, as a person in human society. You also contribute in some small way to ecological catastrophes. You also use technology. You also are bigoted. You are not free of doing the bad things people do. It might give you dysphoria to consider these things, but it also is a pretty big bummer for most people that these are true (besides the tech part we kinda need that to live now). Newsflash, most people don’t like contributing to terrible things, that is literally a huge part of why stuff like climate change denial and the downplaying of bigotry is so common. Politicians and grifters (who are assholes) prey upon peoples’ desire to feel like theyre good people who only do good things by saying that people who acknowledge the reality of our situation want you personally to feel bad. It works really well BECAUSE we dont want to be contributing to bad things. You are in the same boat as these people. We all are.

I think most of you guys need to take history class again, or take a good one this time, because clearly most of you never actually absorbed what it was trying to teach you

Question for Therians out there...

Do you sleep with a pillow at all? I know I don't because it doesn't sit well with my back and neck, and I've found it to be a lot more comfortable to myself than sleeping with a pillow.

I'm a curious wolf, hehe! I myself don't do pillows, but I loooove to have a ton of blankets around my bed/den/nest, because it's much more cozy for me.

i don't like the resurgence of divinekin asking for/encouraging worship, or making hierarchies of rules for how others have to interact with them. whether you like mortality or not, you have it for a reason right now - and it might not feel like it, but being worshipped is incredibly UNhealthy for one's self image and relationships, even just disregarding the impact this can have on one's "subjects".

While I do enjoy a fluffy scug, they have always felt hairless to me, not like an actual slug, but more like skin without the wrinkles. Anatomy wise I just wanted something in-between the in-game sprites and the in-game art, with just a bit more realism while still being cute. I wanted to avoid going too heavily into cat-ifying them so I wanted to make sure they looked like their own distinct thing and not just anthro cats :3

How many slugpups could you survive

I think a sluppy is about the size of a fat raccoon. I could take on 3 before I am overwhelmed by their sheer number, maybe 5 if I am very generous or they are very pathetic. If I was on the edge of a great fall however (for example, the grand canyon) I could take on an infinite amount due to their sheer suicidal nature when faced with a large drop. They would simply plunge off the side instead of face me, not out of fear but out of yearning for the nothingness of death.

I think we should eat more things with our hands honestly. Doesn’t even matter what it is, eating food with your fingers instantly makes it 50% more creature. Also it helps get past executive dysfunction! (At least for me.) green beans is finger food and cultures that never bothered inventing eating utensils are right actually. i will not be taking arguments at this time
