I am not afraid. I see the vastness of the void around me and I wonder what lies beyond my sight, but I am not afraid. No matter the rustling of the grass around me or the faint growls, not even the crowds of glowing eyes surrounding me. I am not afraid.

That is not a sign of a void within yourself. You alone are so full of life that you yourself are an entire world of a being, and as small as you may be in the grand scheme of the void of the universe, you are like a star. You may not see it from where you are, but you are part of an entire galaxy. A speck of light in a world full of nothingness. That is why you trust the stars. They understand, and they can see the galaxy you help create.
Are you afraid little wanderer? You need not be. Look up at the stars. Watch them twinkle and shine into the vast nothingness in hopes of illuminating the path for some lost wanderer such as you. They are much greater than you could ever dream to be, yet they shine for you to follow. Trust in them.

Lay yourself down to rest on the grass. Disappear into the tawny sea, dead and dry, but still soft and comforting beneath you. There is peace here, among the stillness. Let yourself find it, and become part of it.

Days grow longer, flowers begin to return, creatures of darkness return to the cover of trees. They’re hungrier now that they only hunt at night. Mind the rustles.

I dream of a world with soft grass and a warm breeze. I dream of worn shoes on feet tired from running. I dream of rabid jaws splintering bone and teeth dripping red with blood. Every night I see it clearer than the last.

Tread lightly, for you do not belong in this world, and are at the mercy of the glowing eyes surrounding you.

She does not hate. She watches tirelessly with boundless and unconditional love, even those who are unforgivable in their thoughts and actions. Imagine the pain she must feel loving those who do so much wrong. Do right, if not for anyone else, do right for her.
How long has it been since you saw the sky? She misses you.

The air is heavy these nights, when you can see the Moon in her cold distant beauty, shining for you in smiling adoration. Even when her soft light is hidden in the darkness, do not worry. She still rests among the Stars, twinkling and whispering amongst themselves, and she sighs. I assure you, she misses you as well.

The wind blows gently through the leaves far above my head, and through their rustles they gift me secrets more ancient than bones and blood. Softly against my ear it whispers, “Terfs can fuck off.”

May your days be filled with peace and laughter, and may the creatures of the forest never find a taste for your blood.

This forest is a cold and unforgiving wilderness, yes, but she is living, breathing, and protects those who call her home. Your axes and pistols may lay down a path for you in blood, but she does not scar. She will fight back, and she will win.

A ring of mushrooms has begun to grow around my house. I do not know why. Sometimes I whisper to them. Sometimes they whisper back. I feel them watching me, waiting for more secrets.
I wonder what would happen if their patience runs out.

Turn off your flashlight. There is no need for it here. Your eyes will adjust, and you will find your path, unnoticed by the eyes of all that dwell in the forest. Catmint and lavender also help.
