BEST NEWS EVER!!!

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!  This is way better than we expected! 

So, my town doesn’t have any good hotels.  But, they are building a brand new one that *could* be done by August.  There’s one in south Lincoln I could recommend, though.  I’m almost sure the hotel they are building will be pretty close to being done.  They have it basically constructed already and it’s going into the summer. 

I’ll ask off the Wednesday-Wednesday then of the week you’re here.  I’m so stinking excited!  This is literally the best news in the world!!!!

Do It!

If you really want to get more into reading, I’d highly recommend it.  There are so many less distractions on a kindle as opposed to a tablet.  And I think the screen is easier on the eyes, personally.  There isn’t as much of a glare.

If you’re interested in the kindle (as opposed to another ereader) I’d hold out on the latest version as I’ve said before.  More storage, lights, waterproof, etc.  Do your research beforehand would be my advice.

Oh, I’m not a selfie person.  I hardly ever take pictures of myself.  I don’t like the way I look in them.  I have astigmatism and lazy eye in one of my eyes which is really tricky to photograph, in my opinion, and never looks right.  I’ve always been really self-conscious of it, so I just don’t take pictures.  I’m weird, I know.  But you love me anyway!

Kindles

I have the paperwhite, but it’s one below the lastest one.  The most advanced has the light or something and you can change the color of the font, I think.  The light would have been really nice, but I wasn’t patient enough to wait for a sale.  I thought of price in the moment, not long term.

I chose to go with that instead of the fire because I didn’t think I’d use all of the apps it came with.  And it would be too easy for me to get distracted and use it for entertainment rather than actual reading.  I wanted the simplicity of the actual kindle.

Books!

I’m actually just starting one so I get to choose. I think it will be “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” though. I’ve really been digging the leadership and personal development books lately.

Add that to our amazon prime membership where I can “check out” up to 10 books for free on my kindle, it really works well! It’s not any book I want, but there is a really nice variety of genres and authors to choose from.

I also took advantage of the “world book day” promotion they had a few weeks ago. You could literally download about 7-8 books from international authors for free! I’m excited to get working on those, but want to do some research first about the author and books. There definitely isn’t a shortage of material that’s for sure!

I’m absolutely loving my kindle solely for the space saving purpose. Coupled with the amazon prime perks and it’s actually way worth it to me. I do regret not getting the latest model, though. At the time I looked, I was in “impulse” mode and really just wanted a kindle right now! If I would have thought more long term and been patient, I could have waited for the new model to go on sale. Oh well, you live and learn!

If a manager treats people well, they won’t want to leave! My motto as a manager is: “train people so they can work anywhere, treat them so well they won’t want to.” (Or something like that). I want an empowered, self-sufficient staff, but I always want them to know I care.

I like your boss. Maybe I’ll get a chance to meet her someday! The attitudes of the employees absolutely come from the top, you are so right!

Reading

I’m just getting ready to shower and whatnot. I have a picnic with the young lady I mentor from 11:45-1 but other than that, it’s a reading day!

Plans Tomorrow

I think I’ve done all the decluttering I’m going to do, and really want to spend some time reading. 

I still get up at 6 to let the doggos out and usually check the blog and reply then (which is maybe when you get up or when you’re going to work?)  I usually go back to sleep for about another hour (which is really just dozing), and then get up. 

I’ll check regularly tomorrow, because I really want to spend the day reading if I can.  Well, as much as my puppy will allow.  I think he will require some playtime/energy release in the morning. 

I’ll catch up when I can, and will chat away!  I’m so excited!  Thanks for a great week so far!

I Was Curious!

I wanted to know how it went!  You say you didn’t click, that’s interesting. 

Can you explain what didn’t “click” for you?  Or what about your friends that you do “click” with that she didn’t?  It’s interesting!

And yes, a handwritten thank you is good.  He has some children so money is tight sometimes.  I was thinking of something like a gift card for groceries, or paying his utility bill for a month or something.  Those are also things to do that are unexpected but very useful, you know? 

The hand written thank you would be really nice.  Just a heartfelt note.  Simple yet effective.

Yes!  I’m a kitten.  If I can’t thank you through sexual means, I’m forced to think creatively!  What is that about?!

I have some ideas through experience, but we will wait to further this discussion until more access is granted.  For now, let’s just focus on us :)

My Mouse

My mouse is weird.  A heartfelt “thank you” is truly the best thing you can do for him.  I mean, I can try to come up with ideas on ways to thank him, but really, a thank you is all he requires.  Let me come up with some alternative surprises, though.  I’m sure there’s something he isn’t expecting that will knock his socks off.  Non sexual even!

He’s a very modest man, so any cash or gifts will be reasonable.  I guarantee it.

Thank You

Thank you for respecting my desire to have hubby’s permission no matter what.  That really is best and safest for us all.  It will be a slow process, but I’m sure it will all be worth it.  I think Bee and my mouse will help all they can.  Hubby and my mouse talk way more than I realize, and I trust his approach and process, so I’m sure he will help all he can.

I’m optimistic we will gain his approval in some way eventually.  It will be worth the wait.  I’m sure of that.

She told me what she did, it was really kind of hot.  I’m glad you thought it was too.  And that it made you cum.  I’m also optimistic you’ll get to watch eventually.  With hubby’s permission, though.  But as long as you promise to stick to Bee and not me, I can’t imagine it will be hard to get him to agree to.  :)
