22 was the number of pages in the last book.

There are 22 major arcanas in tarot.

Wilbur has some sort of solitaire thing going on.

Quackity has the casino thing.

And Fundy, maybe something to do with the major arcana?

Or perhaps, since he never flipped to the last page, the LAST major arcana in particular? Maybe even the second to last major arcana, since that’s where he stopped?

Since the major arcana numbers go from 0-21, the last arcana, The World might play a part in figuring out what’s going on.

Or if you go by the order 1-21, then ends with 0, the last arcana would be The Fool. The Fool is sometimes labelled the first, or the last, out of the 22.

So we have two candidates that might help us make sense of this, The World, or The Fool.

If we’re taking the 21st major arcana, because Fundy stopped on the 21st page, it would either be The Judgement or The World.

If we took the 22nd major arcana as The World, we’d end up with The Judgement as the 21st.

If we took the 22nd major arcana as The Fool, then we’d end up with The World as the 21st.

There’s two ways of using tarot card numbers to interpret what’s happening. And I’m going to research more on this and make separate posts for each interpretation.

This is just food for thought tho. :D
