how am i so late to loving this jesus christ everything about this damn near perfect. the beat is so bouncy goddammit. gets my head bobbing. the VOCODER is PERFECT. it’s so odd and unique. for a minute they tease you. you know the phrase. but they keep cutting the beat. you want it to just GO but even when the drums are fully in at 1:40 they just HOLD IT. TWO MORE TIMES. then finally 1:58, WE GET IT. the way the vocoder climbs up the scale??? the way it strips the beat after the build just give you what you want??? MY GODDDDD. and i can’t stop with that vocoder. the way it wobbles and moves gets me so happy. that oUr at 2:16 is so great. and 2:26 WOW the way it just becomes a solo??? the way the vocals cut in and out just GETS ME MAN. THE RIFFS AT 2:36?? how layered it sounds???? like a ruffling jacket or flip book it’s so tight.

and then we strip that beat even more. LOVE THE BELLS. the lines during this part are nothing short of amazing. i love the way it snips and teleports lol. 3:04 WORK IT! are the last 30 seconds of a song even allowed to go this hard???? i LOVE when the notes go HIGH. so 3:18 when it goes high i’m always like damn that’s the peak, and then 3:20 JUST PUSHES ME OUT MY FUCKING CHAIR. THE BLUES SCALE??? IT GETS HIGHER!! wow this shit just DOES IT TO ME
