The clacking of your keyboard practically echoed through your apartment, almost masking the sound of whatever show your boyfriend Yuta was watching. Between your typing and the frantic notes sprawled across your dining table to the red squiggles underlining the occasional misspelled word, it was hard to tell just how long you had been on autopilot. You basically lost all sense of time, working nonstop to finish a paper you had put off finishing till the last minute.

Suddenly, you felt arms wrap around your shoulders causing you to jump out of your trance. You quickly realized it was Yuta and relaxed. He rested his head on your shoulder and planted a chaste kiss on your cheek.

"I think it's time you take a break," he let out a somewhat sympathetic laugh at how tired you looked. You stretched your fingers out, only then registering how cramped they had gotten from typing.

"I can't take a break. Twenty pages aren't just gonna write themselves," you sigh.

"Look at me," Yuta gently grabbed your chin and turned your head to face him. He smiled at you fondly, immediately making you feel warm and appreciative of him. "You can spare five minutes."

You leaned into his touch and smiled back at him, "No. Now go watch your show while I finish this."

Yuta stood up straight and groaned dramatically, he walked over to the couch and fell over as though he had fainted. You giggled and decided to play into his little performance.

"Oh no..what what's wrong ?" You said in a less than concerned but still playful tone. Yuta peeked up at you then dropped his head again.

"My amazing partner won't stop working to spend time with me, their incredible boyfriend," You half expected him to fake a sob. Nonetheless you found yourself chuckling.

"Yuta I would love to spend time with you but I really need to finish this paper, it's due soon."

"It's due at noon tomorrow," Yuta reminded you. Okay—maybe you were over exaggerating just how little time you had left..but you'd never admit that.

"It's 2:00 am..so technically it is tomorrow. Either way I still need to proof read it and print it—" Yuta could sense that you were beginning to ramble, which would lead you to feel even more stressed. He pushed himself of the couch and found his way back to you. Yuta leaned over you and quickly hit save on your document then shut your computer. Before you could protest he gave you a proposal.

"Relax for an hour..or two..and after I will even help you finish your assignment in any way I can, okay? I'll proof read it ten times if you want me to," Yuta smiled at you hopefully. He knew his smile was your weakness and that you'd give in. Although still a bit reluctant, you nodded making him smile even wider.

Yuta happily pulled you to the couch with him, making sure you were comfortable. He then put on a movie he knew you'd both like, wanting to make sure you could take your mind off schoolwork for a bit. You leaned your head against his and felt exhaustion finally catch up to you. Before you knew it, you were softly snoring into Yuta's shoulder. He giggled and kissed your head before helping you to bed for the night. He'd definitely be helping you with your paper in the morning.
