As reality and comfort begin to settle in our relationship, I learn a lot more about you, about us. We are not even knee-deep into the game. But you know, six months later, I am still over the moon experiencing how it is to be loved and cared for by you. Our days may not be as great sometimes. It could be quiet, dull, boring or even messy at times, but as days pass, I grow to see that our love is honest, real. It is imperfect. Sometimes it hurts, it forgets and it fails, but it understands, forgives, compromises, sacrifices and it remains. At the end of the day, despite all the disagreements that ground us, you continue amaze me; I'm glad to call you home. I'll always be thankful even for the simplest days, in our sweat pants, binging on anything we can watch, dead ass tired on the couch, filling our days with power naps, random thoughts, couch cuddles, made-up dishes, no bull, no sugar, simply you, simply us, I love every bit of it, I love every bit of you. How open-minded, understanding, responsible, and hard working you are. I may not be a champ on a lot of things, but you're one of my greatest wins. The more I get to know you, the more I realize you are someone I want my future kids to have as a dad and the type of person I want my future kids to marry. I couldn't be more grateful for everyday--the good, the bad, to agree, disagree, to affirm, to negate. We'll go through it all and work on them together. That's a promise I intend to keep. Moving in together was quite a grueling 12 hours of lifting and sorting things, especially for you. I know I'm a mess and a self-admitted hoarder, but thanks for not wanting to back off lol.

Kidding aside, babes, I'm no special goddess as how you put it to be. Especially now that we live together, I can only promise to do my best to give you the love and care you deserve. I can only promise to work on my cooking so you won't hate home-cooked food lol. I can only promise to do my best to make you happy for the rest of our days (lol tayo na kasi talaga dapat ok?)

Moving in with you just made me feel so grateful and inspired to wake up everyday. Every single day, you provide a stronger proof that my dream guy exists. You are the embodiment of the person I prayed for; the person my mom and I talk about. You're not perfect, and it may sound cliche, but you are the perfect one for me. If this were dream, please don't wake me up huhu lol. You continue to show me how beautiful life is and it could be, as long as we're together. No one ever saw me like you do.

It was such a symbolic moment gazing as the sun slowly kissed the sea. While sunsets are often associated with endings, but so does it entail beginnings. Much like books that are meant to be read from start to finish, where as one chapter ends, another one begins. But maybe books aren't meant to be appreciated merely for how the author decides to commence or conclude the story. What if each of them is supposed to be a little story on its own? Maybe each chapter is meant to make you feel something--anger, loathe or delight. And whatever it is, no one can steal that from you. No one can ever question why the smart and handsome prince fell for this rugged-looking, awkward girl.

As I begin this new chapter with you, babes, I couldn't be more thankful for whatever divine intervention or God knows whatever force there is that lead me to you. I am extremely grateful for the moment I first saw your cute little bun, looking through the cafe window. Grateful for the moment I saw you smile for the first time; a smile so bright I had to cover my face with the menu.
