Best Sharpest kitchen knife in the world
Ask any chef professional for advice if they were on an island in the desert and had only one kitchen appliance that they would probably choose an chef's knife. Other kitchen tools, such as knifes with serrated blades or Butcher knifes are more specific in their functions, a good chef's knife is able to do everything, from slicing and dicing through more difficult tasks like cutting a chicken's thigh and cutting the pineapple.
Within the Kitchen Laboratory for Appliances and Technology We test over 30 knife models in order to identify the top kitchen knives available in the market. We tested them with cooks at home in mind and assessed the ease with which each knife cut and held an edge when cutting and cutting through chickens, whole onions cooked steak carrots, cheddar cheese. We chopped the basil in fine strips, chopped garlic into fine parsley, and cut tomatoes. The most amazing knives were razor sharp and cut paper thin slices of tomato without effort whatsoever.
We also inspected the feel of the handle, grip as well as the overall experience of using the knife. We looked for knives that swung smoothly and needed little pressure to slice through meat. We also noted how each handle felt , as well as its weight. While the heavier knives felt more robust however, they can be tiring when cutting tough ingredients such as carrots. Larger-handled knives, with lighter handles, provide more control, whereas smaller handle knives let us to slice fast and thinly.
