Is it just me or does Hozier's songs make you want to be the 'me/I' he sings about? Or even the 'you'. Why does Hozier have to be so poignant?

I want to live inside a Hozier song even though the prospect terrifies me.

Oh also that one low, bass "hey, yeah" he says, somewhere in the middle ish of the song, fuels the tectonic shifts inside me.

I am *this* close to writing an academic paper on Hozier's songs.
