i think if you have a crush on someone that isnt into you the same way you should be able to throw up horrible black goo for about 10 minutes to make the crush go away

I'm so sad in such a strange way to hear about the Corporation for Public Broadcasting officially shutting down. It's a weird feeling. Most of it is the intellectual level of "oh this is SO fucking bad and terrifying that we'll no longer have federally supported public information channels anymore, it will ALL be through the private market, not to mention the stark reminder of the US government's continued descent into anti-intellectualism and fascism," all of which makes my stomach sink.
But on a smaller level it is the disappearance of something that was so ubiquitous to American childhood. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of Americans can hear the exact intonation of this phrase in their head: "This program made possible by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and by viewers like you. Thank you."
There is a lot more that could be said about the likely repercussions of this. In addition to being sad, I am also exceedingly furious. I wish despair upon all the Republicans who helped kill the CBP just because it took its mission seriously and refused to broadcast overt right-wing propaganda as news.

”you’re in a room with three men but you feel totally safe; who are they?”
I hate this question. They’re my homies, probably, the fuck? Why are you people saying the marauders and the guys from Supernatural?

there is literally nothing better than being seen by a butch… being watched so intently.. in the way they do.. it makes me warm and dizzy… I love it. I love them.
#oh boy really long ago rb sorry m. but i was at an indigo girls concert recently standing next to an older butch/femme couple and the butch#was chatting with me in a very nice & friendly way and i could feel her watching me scream their songs the whole concert. and at the end i a#asked if she and her partner had a good time and she patted me on the arm in this very nice way and said yeah kid it was a good concert.#so this is a different type of being *noticed* by a butch but i guarantee you this butch knew watching me work & helping kids & fangirling#that there may lwk be a baby femme inside me. i think. i don’t want to say it yet bc scary but maybe (yes)(?)

today at work we brought the kids popsicles and i had a delightful time watching them wriggle when they put the whole thing in their mouth and it became too cold to eat. and on our snack break we listened to lots of good music including heavy metal drummer and some of the kids went out of their way to say goodbye to me at checkout and all afternoon long i was waiting to get choked up about something either related to watching these children play and wishing i could be a child again or related to the fact that my job was ending and nothing would ever be like this again and i couldn’t find that sadness and i’ve realized that those things that would have scared me shitless at some point aren’t that scary anymore!
