As someone who has always considered themselves pro-Palestinian, the issue isn’t being pro-Palestinian, it’s how you do it.

The fact that there is literally a tumblr poll for this like there would be ice cream flavors just shows how no one on this hellsite comprehends the seriousness of this situation.

Also the first part is completely wrong.
As a minority Israeli that will likely never serve in the IDF that applies to like almost every other minority in Israel. I thought that was like common knowledge?
Druze, and Circassians are the only minorities in Israel that are required to serve in the IDF.
Every other minority like Arabs or Armenians are exempt.
Tumblr media
this couldn’t possibly be antisemitic bc they said israelis and not jews!
Tumblr media
oh oops.

Every night I think of the hostages during my nightly prayers, I beg God to keep them safe, but I also pray we will not make it into day 500. That they will be brought home before then.

Yall, I am so fucking sick of this. Armenian lands are being occupied, and our heritage sites destroyed actively but no one says anything about it because it’s not a popular enough conflict.
zartonkmedia post about it.

I wish life in the i/p conflict was taken more seriously. Western leftists treat Palestinian death as something that could help advance their political agenda, but they see Israeli (Jewish, specifically) death as something to be celebrated, that they have achieved their goal of destruction.

Hey, if you think comparing the Israeli-Palestinian to a fictional universe and asking why you support this fictional universe but not this in real life, you are doing nothing but saying that Palestinian and Israeli lives are worth as much fictional characters.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

@astra-the-dragon, Recently as of early this year a business man with connections to a radical settler group tried to take over the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem. Which is very very heavily important to Armenians due to our heavily Christian nature and the fact that is contains the oldest Armenian Diaspora in the world.
He made a bid to take over a huge slice of it, which would make more of Jerusalesm Jewish, which would wipe out more of the small Christian community in it. Which is seen in the favor of the Israeli government’s interest.
Which led many Jewish settlers to attacking local Armenians defending our historic home, some who come from families who escaped the Armenian Genocide (mine for example) some who come from Armenians who came down from the religious aspect. Just to make it clear they were attacking random Armenians for not giving up there homes and some were attacking for Armenians just being Christian.
They literally destroyed parts of the incredibly sacred and important place to build a fucking hotel.
I also want to point out that a lot of this is due to anti-Christian sentiment, early 2023, but before that of course too β€œdeath to Christians, Armenians, and Arabs,” would appear vandalized on walls in the Armenian and Christian quarters of Jerusalem.
This is all easily allowed under Bibi’s government and his racism towards non-Jews in Israel and his wanting for the annexation of Palestinian and non-Jewish territories within in the area. οΏΌ
I was all addressing this in my original post, a lot of Israelis and Jews will bring up anti-Muslim and anti-Arab sentiment in Israel, which is fine, I’m not complaining but as a minority Israeli it feels like they are just ignoring Armenian, Christian, and other small minorities within country and the hate crimes they face.
Sorry if all of this is a bit sloppy.
So here’s some articles to read:
Here are some articles about anti-Christian hate and hate crimes:
https://acninternational.org/attacks-on-christians-increasing-in-israel/
And I don’t know if you would want to or if you have the means but here are some places you can donate to to help:
I love that Israelis and Jews will acknowledge discrimination against minorities in Israel, but as a minority Israeli I feel that we don’t talk enough about discrimination against other minority Israelis that aren’t arabs, and even when it is brought up I feel like it’s brought up as a something that just happens in every country and not something that is so easily allowed under Bibi’s government.
Did we all forget how easily settlers almost took over the Armenian quarter of Jerusalem?

Blaining all of the worlds problems on Israel won’t solve anything and actually just let’s people/counties get away with things by the way.

Monument in honor of Armenian Genocide and Jewish Holocaust victims in Yervan, Armenia.
The monument is located in the Ring Park at the intersection of Teryan and Moskovyan streets. It was unveiled on October 27, 2006. It was installed on the initiative of Rima Vardapetyan, the president of the Jewish community of Armenia. The monument consists of two basalt columns, symbolizing the similarity of the fates of two ancient nations: Armenians and Jews. On the front of the right column, it is engraved in Armenian:β€œLIVE NOT FORGET: IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE ARMENIAN AND JEWISH GENOCIDE,” On the same side of the left column, the Hebrew inscription reads (translated): β€œTO BE OR TO FORGET: IN MEMORY OF THE HOLOCAUST VICTIMS,” On the back sides of the columns, branches of the tree of life are carved. The slanted tops of the columns symbolize the idea of destroyed lives. Between them is a bronze candle that illuminates the monument in the dark and reminds people that genocide of any nation or people should not occur in the future.

Old Jewish cemetery in Prague.
β€œThe Old Jewish Cemetery is among the oldest surviving Jewish burial grounds in the world and along with the Old-New Synagogue, it is the most important site in the Prague Jewish Town…It was founded in the first half of the 15th century. The earliest tombstone dates back to 1439; the last burial took place 348 years later. Although the cemetery was expanded several times over the centuries, it was still not big enough to meet the needs of the Jewish Town. As space was scarce, bodies were buried on top of each other, with graves layered up to 10 deep.”
