it doesn't matter if ur hair is short or long. if he can braid it, he will. kei just loves to pull u to his lap and braid ur hair, while a soft music plays on the background. maybe its in silence, or maybe he's hearing u ramble about something, or maybe he's the one rambling. Kei just loves the way ur soft hair feel in his hands. he loves hearing u talk about ur day, about how u hate ur math teacher, or just about whatever pops in ur adorable head. he just loves ur voice. he loves the way u are also willing to listen to him, even if he's talking about a random dinosaur, or about a scientific theory he learned recently.

time flies when he spends time with u like this, and he could go on for hours. its just so comforting and relaxing for him, he loves it.

what if Tsukishima kei was as small as a gnome?

Ever since u found Tsukishima in ur garden, u have been taking care of him. he's a man the size of a gnome, how could u leave him there? a bird could catch him and eat him alive.

u bought a dollhouse and did ur best to crochet little clothes that would fit him. usually u would put Kei in ur pocket and take him to school secretly, even go on strolls with the little guy. It was fun to spend time with such an amusing person. he was so bitter that it was easy to be nice to him.

and the boy in this whole situation? well, he was grateful of course, but we're talking about Tsukishima Kei. it took a while for him to trust u and start treating u like a friend. in the first days, he slept inside one of the drawers in ur wardrobe which was empty, and he only left there to eat and use the bathroom.

as time went by, u managed to win the little one's friendship. u even gave him a giant dinosaur plush toy so he could ride it, (he loves that thing) and in the end, he is quite happy with u.

and u can even say that what he feels for u is past purely platonic.

What's Tsukishima Kei's type of girl?

i already wrote a headcanon like this, but it was a few months ago and i decided to redo it with my new opinions! hope u guys like it (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

♡- i think everyone agrees that Kei would like smart woman. he wouldn't want to date a girl who's as dumb as Hinata and Kageyama. he would want someone who can keep a intelligent conversation with him, someone who can engage on his nerdy interests, someone who looks forward to know more about what he likes and learn with him.

♡- a girl who's funny. bro would love to have someone who he can joke with, someone he can laugh together and gossip about people the two dislike.

♡- now about personality, i think he would like a responsible girl. Kei find girls who have a plan for life attractive. a girl who takes things seriously, who doesn't go around doing wrong stuff and wasting time on bullshit, someone that actually know themselves and what they want. that is so damn attractive to him.

he would also like a girl who's sweet, caring and hardworking. someone who tries to be better everyday, a girl who seeks knowledge and growth, someone with an open mind, who's brave.

i SWEAR i didn’t look at your profile before i decided on your matchup being tsukishima 😭

- okay firstly i saw the word sassy and one’s mind can either go to oikawa or tsukishima but then i read all of it and i decided on tsukki

- you love to learn (same i fear) and he most likely loves that, he’s canonically a pretty smart guy academically so i think you’d have a lot of study dates

- tsukishima is also an introvert like you, but i don’t think he would be scared to approach anyone, so the first time he talks to you is probably just a casual comment that leaves you suprised since you’ve been told you seem hard to approach

- i think canonically and in my head he’s pretty judgemental about everyone for something

you two would definitely sit together in classes and gossip about people, probably being subtle enough to get away with it too

- tsukishima is always with yamaguchi, so i think once you and tsukishima had talked enough / started to date, you guys would become a trio

- when it comes to compatibility, the fact you get compared to kenma and yamaguchi really helped me

since yamaguchi has been tsukishimas friend for a long time it means they’re pretty compatible and their habits and personalities get on well together

and also, kenma and tsukishima are pretty similar to eachother

recently, i made a survivor!kei x zombie!reader imagine. in the imagine, the reader doesn't eat humans. but what if they did?

u were wandering around aimlessly, hunting for human remains to eat, when u saw him, also looking for food inside a market. he was probably the last survivor in that part of town, since you had seen zombies eat a group of people a few weeks ago, people who were in the city for months.

u approached the blond boy to say hi. he wasn't very friendly and tried to cut ur head off, but with a little talking, he didn't kill u. even though he almost took ur life, u were intrigued. the boy was probably the last survivor, and that was... hot. and the boy, he looked delicious. u were infatuated, completely and utterly enchanted, and so u decided to follow him!

and then began a long journey with a zombie.

Kei didn't trust u at all. he could barely sleep at night knowing he had a zombie by his side, but well, u helped. u helped kill zombies, looked for food for him, gave him gifts. I mean, i dont know if a human arm can be considered a gift, but wathever.

u were actually quite useful. and it was also nice to have company after traveling alone for so much time, even if the company was a Zombie. and so time passed. u two spent a year traveling together, going from city to city, killing zombies and having life-or-death adventures. u two created a bond of friendship.

but... that wasn't just friendship for u, was it?

Kei was much more than just a friend. he was strong, talented, smart, handsome, tall, serious... everything u could ever want in a guy. u remember ur human days, long before the apocalypse began. u were always picking ur heart up off the floor, rejection after rejection. But now, you are everything each other has.

u love Kei, u truly do. ur heart would beat faster if u were still a human. and he is just SO delicious.

eating the brain of someone so intelligent would be an honor! his arms are so strong and juicy, his eyes are beautiful and they look like they would taste so good. but... what u crave the most is his heart.

Kei is loyal, kind, gentle and hard-working, even if he tries to hide it underneath that salty attitude. he has a heart of gold, and u can't wait to get ur hands on it.

u would eat him whole, limb by limb, just so u can have a part of him. just so u two can be one. so u can feel last beat of his heart in ur hands. so u can make sure that he won't leave u, like ur family and friends did.

u do love him. this is just ur twisted way of showing that u care. u wouldn't really eat him, right?

thinking about survivor!kei and zombie!reader in a zombie apocalypse. u were a special case of a zombie, who had not lost its consciousness to the fungus. u ended up losing all ur friends and family in the apocalypse, wandering around alone for a long time.

since u refused to eat humans, u looked for food in the markets of the cities u passed by, and thats when u first saw him.

Kei was looking for supplies when he suddenly heard the bell in the market's front door ring. he quickly crouched behind the shelf and looked at the door. his eyes windened when he saw a zombie coming in, you.

he was even more shocked when u started looking through the shelves and freezers, looking for food. u were humming a song, and acting like a human. talking to yourself as u walked through the market.

“Seriously? the only thing left here is bread???” u talked to yourself, sighing in annoyance. “the good food in this city seems to have all been looted.” u took a bite of the bread.

when u where chewing on ur bread, suddenly, someone sneaked behind u and held a knife against ur neck.

“hold still...” u heard a boy's voice behind u. ur heart beat faster in despair, and the bread u were holding fell to the floor. “what the fuck are u?” the boy asked.

u gulped down the bread, feeling ur heart pound in ur chest, begging for ur life. “I... im a zombie, but... i still have consciousness. i don't eat humans. i swear.”

The boy's eyes windened when he heard ur explanation. He sighed and pinned u against the wall, tying ur hands. ur eyes windened in fear. “A-ah, wait, what are u doing?! i wont hurt u, i promise! let me go, now!!” you shouted, and he noticed the desperation in ur voice.

“Calm down and stop shouting, u will attract them here.” he ordered with a stern, firm voice. “i don't know what or who the fuck u are, but u still look like a zombie. i won't take any risks.”

the blond boy tied u up and pinned u against the market pillar. he sat at a safe distance from u and stared at u with those menacing eyes.

It took Kei 2 weeks to make sure u wouldn't eat him while he slept, and he kept u tied up to test u. He even offered u human flesh to make sure u didn't eat humans. when he was sure u weren't a threat, he let u go. Kei was getting ready to leave for the next city when u approached, asking questions.

“So... How long have u been traveling alone?” u asked, sounding curious as u watched him prepare his backpack.

“none of ur business.” he answered with an annoyed expression, not looking at u.

Kei had lost everything. His friends, family, his city... everything that was special to him. He has been traveling alone for a long time, wandering around and trying to survive.

“geez... u really are grumpy.” u joked a bit, tilting ur head. “can i go with u?” u asked with a hopeful smile.

“no.” he answered flatly, making ur smile drop. “i wont travel with a person i barely know. i mean... zombie, or whatever the fuck u are.” he shook his head, and ur shoulders slumped.

It wasn't the first time Kei had encountered humans, and the last time they tried to kill him to steal supplies. he couldn't trust anyone that came his way that easily.

“oh c'mon, pleaseeee! we're both alone, and u already know i dont eat humans! and its good to have company, u know? i mean, assuming we both lost everyone we knew, we will go crazy if we stay alone forever.” u persisted, trying to convince the blond boy.

Kei sighed. “follow me if u want to, i dont care. but if u even try to bite me, i swear that i'll-”

“cut my head off, right? you've said that about 4 times.” u said with a deadpanned expression. Kei rolled his eyes and turned away, picking up his backpack.

“wathever, just be warned.” and he started to walk.

Time passed and Kei began to trust u more, and u two formed a special bond. u were everything each other had, and u swore to survive all this together.

u visited several cities together, went to abandoned amusement parks, killed several zombies, shared ur life stories and much more. u two became inseparable. u two fought and went through several difficult, life-or-death situations, but even so, u remained together.

And so began a wonderful friendship between a zombie and a grumpy human! which could develop into something more later on...

It was December 3rd, at 5pm on a winter afternoon. Snow covered the roads like a white carpet, and the shops closed early due to the huge amount of snow falling that week. The weather was cloudy, but even so, the sunset could be seen through the fog, painting the sky orange and pink. the only thing that could be heard on tha peaceful afternoon was the crickets chirping, along with the sound of the stream flowing near the school.

And here Kei found himself, at the school gate, waiting for you. On his headphones, he played the playlist he had made with songs that reminded him of you. He was wearing that green plaid scarf and the black gloves u gifted him. he couldn't help but wonder: how did he get to this point? Kei never thought he would wait 30 minutes for someone, much less in the snow, out in the cold. But here he was anyway. He must be insane, for sure. if he caught a cold, the team would nag his ears off.

Kei's train of thought was interrupted when he heard footsteps approaching the gate. He wasn't surprised whem he saw u leaving, when u glanced at him with a suprised expression.

“Oh, Kei?! What are you doing here? I thought the club training had ended a while ago.” You said confused, your eyes wandering the boy's frame. The tip of Kei's nose and ears were flushed from the cold, and also his cheeks.

Kei looked down at u, his expression unreadable. “The train ended 30 minutes ago. I decided to wait for you.” He answered with a casual tone.

u raised an eyebrow, tilting ur head, as a small grin formed on your lips. “Thank you very much, that's very kind. But you didn't have to wait for me, it's really cold out here.” You said with a hint of concern in ur tone.

Kei rolled his eyes, dismissing ur concern. “I'm fine. I was worried about you getting a cold, since u are so fragile and all.” He teased slightly, taking a step closer. His hand reached to brush away some snowflakes in ur hair.

You scoffed, a smirking spreading on your face. “Shut up, i can handle a little cold. u act as if im a porcelain doll.” you teased him back, as u brought ur hand to his and interwined your fingers together. Tsukishima's hand was bigger than yours, but your hands fit perfectly together.

He looked down at you as a small smile appeared on his features. “u are just as delicate as one.” he answered softly, squeezing ur hand. “Let's get u home before u freeze here.” the boy said, tugging on ur hand, urging u to start walking with him. You nodded, and u two walked together down the street, passing by Sakanoshita's store, towards ur house.

u two started talking, telling each other about how your day was, until u saw a snowman on the park. a smile spread through ur face. “look Kei, that cute snowman!” u pointed at the snowman.

Kei looked at where u were pointing, and he nodded. “yea, cute.” u suddenly let go of his hand and walk towards the snowman. He sighs. “Come on, Y/N, lets go already.” he looked ahead at the street. “The snow is getting thicker-”

Before Kei could finish his sentence, he was interrupted when he felt a snowball being thrown at his head. Kei slowly turned back to look at u, only to see u holding back ur laugh. Kei scoffed, narrowing his eyes. “So u wanna play, huh?” He bent down and formed a snowball, looking at you again with a challenging look. “Fine.”

Kei threw the snowball at your stomach, and u tripped over a rock, falling flat on ur butt with an “oof-” sound. He stared to laugh, as u sat up and scowled at him. “u jerk!” u frown.

“It was you who started it!” He answered with a smirk. And u couldn't hold back anymore, and u two started laughing. Kei approached and sat down next to u, nudging ur shoulder. “u clumsy ass.” he teased, snickering.

you continued laugh. “Shut up, u threw the snowball way too hard!” u comolained, chuckling. Kei sighed, and a small, genuine smile formed in his face. He looked up at the sky, with a hint of a flush on his cheeks.

“u know, it's been a while since i've been this comfortable with someone... it's kinda scary, but i like it. i like being with u.” he said with a sincere tone, and ur face softened. “i know i dont really say it often, but... i really enjoy spending time with u like this.” he said with a vulnerable tone, with a embarassed expression on his face. he looked away, before he could say anything else, Kei felt another snowball being thrown at his shoulder. he glared at u, as u started laughing again.

“Ahahaha, u are so cheesy! u dont usually say things like that!!” you chuckled, and nudged his shoulder, leaning closer. “but, u know, i like spending time with u too.” u said softly, and Kei noticed the genuine tone in ur voice. his face softened, and he let u lean on his shoulder.

“Good to know, shrimp.”
