Concerning the Multiverse...
His office high above the expansive space that was the repair bay was suddenly filled with his partner and Blackguard, causing the old mech to scramble upright from his seat and greet the returned bot. “I wondered ‘ow long it’d be ‘till you kids came back,” Socket grinned, putting his thick servos on his hips and then narrowing his optics. “You got sum work done. I like it.”

Don’t mind her, she’ll just fidget and worry herself through his silence.
«I dunno yet. I’m back with that Megatron I know on his Cybertron again, cause of… stuff going on, so I’ve gotta wait for that to be done before I can go anywhere. I’m gonna head straight for you though, if at all possible
</ You’ve always got “stuff” goin’ on, mech. Gimme a shout when yer on the way. Bring th’ kiddo too. I miss listenin’ to him chatter. />

Another bout of contemplative silence.
</ I’ll ‘ave th’ boys work somethin’ up. When’re you gonna be this side of the Sector? />
heligooddeals
«Heeeey, Socket.» He can’t see it, but is totally forcing herself to smile and sound pleasant, like there’s nothing weird or wrong going on. «I don’t suppose you’ve got a washrack over there big enough to fit Crossfire, do ya?»
There’s a pause on the other end of the line.
</ What’d you do? />

A scandalized trill erupts from her vocalizer as her plating flares out defensively. “No! I’m just wondering why that’s off limits, cause it seems like the one place we should be in right now.” Her helm perks up, audios picking up and honing in on the pitch change of the engines. Everything sounded so much different down here. She wasn’t use to this. This is exactly why she wanted to be upstairs.
Is that normal?”
He lets loose a guffaw of laughter at her remark, chuckling to himself while she started to stress about the noise. “He’s got it, don’t worry yer little helm,” Socket assured her, adjusting himself where he stood.
In a matter of minutes the ship pitched again, this time in a rolling fashion as the sharp whirring of breaking thrusters came online to slow their decent to the planet’s surface. Crossfire had circled a open field of sorts in a stretch of ground between two  ranges of cybermetal columns resembling spires, if anyone above him had taken notice, it was on the outskirts of what was once Tyger Pax.
“We have reached out destination,” the Supreme’s comment light and almost child like.
Socket beamed and pushed himself off the railing, only stumbling once while the shuttle landed, to drop the cargo bay’s hatch and let in the pure, lazy golden sunlight that glinted off the metallic world. “Ah... There we are.”

“Alright.” She mimics Socket’s movements, leaning on the other side of railing while her rotors still twitched and fidgeted around. It wasn’t long before her digits started to tap against the railing, following a loose rhythm.
At Socket’s command, Blackguard clung onto the railing for support, afraid that she’d be thrown across the room if she didn’t even though the take off was easy - easier than anything she could have ever managed she thought with a flush of embarrassment. “Why can’t we be in the cockpit?”
A dangerous grin plastered it’s way across the older mecha’s face.
“You wanna sit ‘n his servo ‘gain, don’tcha?”
Though there were no windows down on the lower decks, the take off and slow decent through the hazy Cybertronian sky was relatively smooth. The weight of true gravity as it started to take hold of the Supreme’s frame causing the engines to drone slightly louder as they worked to keep themselves airborne.

“True…” She hums thoughtfully, watching the shorter mech make his way across the cargo bay. “Crossfire said the same thing.” Though she was still on edge about the situation. She just got her cockpit fixed and was not looking forward to doing that again.
“Is there anything we need to do..?” She asks, throwing a curious glance upward. “Or just.. stand back and wait here?”
“Nah, we can sit tight,” he drawled, leaning against the railing that lined the loading area. “Better ‘t be down here n’ up in th’ control room where’d he’d ‘ave to escort us out.”
Socket blinked when a silent command was given and his smile grew exponentially. “Hey! Big guy get them engines’ purrin’ we’re clear t’ take off.”
And with only a moment’s pause between the command and a dimming of the lights, the ship pitched gently when the landing gear fell away from the Nemesis’ floor.

@oldconartist Mixrack makes a noise, neither agreeing or disagreeing with the statement, and lazily waves off to the others as he leaves with the younglings.
“Ready as I can be.” Blackguard sighed, rotors twitching nervously. “Last time was a bit of a mess.”
He reached up and patted her forearm with a genuine, albeit crooked smile and said, “Last time wasn’t a great example t’ go off of.” The mechanic hobbled past her and locked up the hatch, the room filling with a deep thrum of thrusters coming online. “Besides! It’ll be good for him and us t’ get better antiquated, and Lord knows how y’ start to ache when ya been in yer alternate fer too long.”

“My ship,” he corrects the other mech before crossing his arms over his chest. Once the trio had departed, he glanced up to Blackguard.
“You good, Blackie?”
heligooddeals
«Someone’s gotta watch the kids.» She answers rather plainly, hauling one youngling under each arm. «I’m not taking them with us and I’m not leaving them unsupervised.»
@oldconartist “WHAT?” Mixracks barks out, scrambling up from the crate he had been resting on. “What? What’s going on?”
“Looks like yer stayin’ here wit’ the kiddos,” he repeated aloud, closing the toolbox and setting it next to the hatch. “You good wit’ that?”
</ Bring ‘em down here. He’ll take ‘em. />

«Crossfire told me that you wanted him to transform but I didn’t think it’d be right this minute.» Sighing, Blackguard patted the wall along her way to reassure the supreme. She wasn’t mad; She was just… upset, and the light buzz of his anxiety wasn’t helping any. «I’m coming along. Crossfire’s under my care. I should at least supervise everything that goes on.
«Where’s dad at?»
</ I’unno he’s ‘round here somewhere; M’ in th’ cargo bay area gettin’ my slag together. What’cha need him for? />
A pause.
</ Found ‘em.  HEY SWEETSPARK YER- />
The rest of the comment is spoken aloud rather than across the commline.

[[I’d rather he not transform on the deck. There’s plenty of empty space down on Cybertron. I can have the ship reentering the atmosphere in a few breems, if you’d be willing to wait long enough to make the flight down.]]
</ Go’head and take ‘er down, sir. I’ll get ‘em ready; Promise we won’t touch nothin’ down on solid ground! />

[[You may; what is your status?]]
</ Finishin’ up our titanic friend here, but I got a inklin’ that there’s gonna be some issues when he transforms next, and he’s insistin’ that he doesn’t have “”clearance”” to transform. So, I’m askin’ the mech that makes the rules. />
“...Socket? Socket, who are you talking to?”
“Don’t worry ‘bout it.”
“Socket, no, please I’m fine.”
</ He’s bein’ a big newbuild ‘bout it too. I c’n take ‘em planet side if ya want. Otherwise I’m thinkin’ I can get his cockpit straightened out on deck. />
Satisfied with his work on the outer hull, Socket stepped back from the massive space cruiser and put a servo to his chin in thought.
“…Sir?”
“Hush, ‘m thinkin’,” he answered the booming voice. “When’s th’ last time you transformed, Crossfire?”
There was a short-lived groan that crept through the white plated ship and then a low answer, “When we met, sir.”
“Stop callin’ me sir, I ain’t no better’n anyone else here, leave that kinda scrap for Megatron. An’ that won’t do. Now I got yer dents out we need t’ see if there’s any issues when them plates move. C’mon,” he waved at the mech to transform. “Do yer thing.”
An awkward silence followed.
“I’m… Not sure I have the clearance to do that, Socket. This isn’t a mechanic’s bay, or even a stable planetary surfa-”
“Oh f’ Primus’ sake.”
</ @therisingdarkness, can I get a word withchu? />

</ Ah, bolts, m’ manners - Socket, at’chur service. Run a repair bay outta Talos IV’s port, Helion Bay. Made the trip out to ya just for the Nemesis. />
He laughed, but then fell into an awkward silence.
</ Well, an’ for Crossfire. I ‘preciate your help, Nightfall. />
Who was he supposed to contact again? There were two of ‘em… That Blackguard had sent in a datapacket.
Right. The Kriodox mech, opened with a pleasant ping:
</ G’day, @seeker-nightfall, I’m huntin’ for some extra canisters ‘r fuel for m’ torch. I though for sure I brought some, but th’ damned thing’s gone ka-put. />
