Hulk & Wu Lei brings Shanghai SIPG from 2-0 to 2-5!
The home playing Guangzhou R&F opened the score very early with a goal of Eran Zahavi. Within the first ten minutes of the match, Xiao Zhi doubled the score making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. Despite this early setback for Shanghai SIPG, the team did not give up. Wu Lei became very important for Shanghai SIPG by scoring 4 goals in the 17th, 27th, 29th and 73rd minute. The Brazilian superstar Hulk also scored a goal in the 53rd minute. This resulted in a final score of 2-5. This incredible win means a three-game winning streak for the club from Shanghai and makes them the current table leader with a great goal difference of +13. This match outcome ended the game winning streak of Guangzhou R&F, who currently holds the 3rd place in the Chinese Super League.

Miserable debut for Carrasco in China
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/dalian-yifang/miserable-debut-carrasco-china/
Miserable debut for Carrasco in China
Yannick Carrasco and Nico Gaitan were the highlights in the CSL winter stop as the duo moved from Atletico Madrid to Dalian Yifang in the last days before the transfer window closes. Today’s match was a debut for both players, but they received a painful loss of 8-0 to Shanghai SIPG.
Carrasco and Gaitan both played 90 minutes, but were dominated by the Brazilian duo Oscar and Hulk. Oscar scored a stunning hattrick and Hulk scored from the penalty spot after fouled by former West Ham player, Jose Fonte. Chinese superstar Wu Lei also scored a remarkable hattrick for Shanghai SIPG.
The result was very disappointing for Dalian Yifang and the newly joined players. The season just started and the new players joined the team for only a short time. Let’s hope they will achieve better results in the upcoming games.

Carrasco may leave Atlético Madrid for China's Dalian Yifang
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/dalian-yifang/yannick-ferreira-carrasco-may-leave-atletico-madrid-for-chinas-dalian-yifang/
Carrasco may leave Atlético Madrid for China's Dalian Yifang
Yannick Ferreira Carrasco may leave Atlético Madrid this week.
Atlético Madrid has received an offer of €30 million from China’s Dalian Yifang, under Spanish coach Juan Ramón López Caro.
Since 100% tax needed to be paid to the CFA for foreign deals, an amount of €60 million would be involved for the possible transfer for the Belgian international to Dalian Yifang.
Dalian Yifang also stated that they are already in talks with Carrasco. The club from Dalian Yifang has 4 days remaining to sign him, as the Chinese transfer market ends on the 28th of February.

Beijing Guoan Faces 10 Points Deduction For Signing Bakambu
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/beijing-guoan/beijing-guoan-faces-10-points-deduction-for-signing-bakambu/
Beijing Guoan Faces 10 Points Deduction For Signing Bakambu
Cedric Bakambu might be the new foreign star that is joining the Chinese Super League this season. Beijing Guoan has spent €40 million to Villarreal to buy out Bakambu’s contract. But a 10 points deduction might be charged on Beijing Guoan for this signing.
With a limit spending of CNY 45 million (€6 million) per foreign signing, any transfer amount above this will need to pay a tax of 100% to the CFA. For this reason, clubs are seeking “legal” ways to avoid paying the high taxes on transfers.
Any club that breaks the regulation will have the player suspended and face a deduction of 1-15 point in the league, depending on the act.
Beijing Guoan thought they found a way to avoid the transfer tax by using a third party to buy out Bakambu’s contract in Villarreal and sign the player as a free agent. In this case, the player has signed for the team as a free agent and had not made any official transfer payments.
However, the Chinese Football Association did an investigation in this movement and see this as an unacceptable act. The CFA is now in the process of deducting 10 points from Beijing Guoan. Also, Beijing Guoan still needs to pay the €40 million tax fee to the CFA or Bakambu will not be able to play in the Chinese Super League in the next season.

Is Jackson Martinez Guangzhou's last hope?
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/guangzhou-evergrande/jackson-martinez-guangzhou-hengdas-last-hope/
Is Jackson Martinez Guangzhou's last hope?
Guangzhou Evergrande failed to win their first AFC Champions League match. The 1-1 draw at home against Buriram United FC was a disappointing result for the fans and the team. Although Guangzhou had the advantage in possession, they were unable to build up a reasonable offense. The team passed too much in the midfield and were not able to get through the defense of Buriram United FC.

A post shared by Jackson Martinez (@j.martinezofficial) on Feb 14, 2018 at 5:30pm PST
While Guangzhou Evergrande did not transfer any big names to the club this summer, fans are already worrying about the team’s performance for the upcoming season.
But Yesterday Jackson Martinez sent a post on social media about his training at the gym. Even trainer Fabio Cannavaro liked the post. Jackson Martinez could be the key player for Guangzhou Evergrande. His comeback seems to be closer and he might be the last hope for a successful season.
Do you think Jackson Martinez will be the key player for Guangzhou Evergrande this season? Leave your answer in the comments below!

Transfer Talk: Andrés Iniesta to Shanghai Shenhua
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/shanghai-shenhua/transfer-talk-andres-iniesta-shanghai-shenhua/
Transfer Talk: Andrés Iniesta to Shanghai Shenhua
Barcelona player Andrés Iniesta is being linked with the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua. It has been reported that Shanghai Shenhua made a bid for the midfielder.
Rumours suggested that Andrés Iniesta is seeking for a new final challenge, after former Liverpool player Phillipe Couthinho joined Barcelona for a stunning fee of 120 million euros.
Barcelona stated that they have been caught off guard with the offer on the Spaniard from Shanghai Shenhua, and that they do not want to sell one of their great players.
Iniesta commented on the arrival of Phillipe Couthinho to Barcelona : “The arrival of Couthino would not make me retire or kick me out”. But because of the opportunity for the coach of Barcelona to have a fully fit squad to choose from, it would be likely that Andrés Iniesta game time will decrease. Which makes a new and maybe last final challenge an attractive choice.
Do you think the Spanish international will make the transfer to the Chinese Super League? Leave your answer in the comments below!

Gudelj Replaces Paulinho at Guangzhou Evergrande
New Post has been published on http://www.soccerinchina.com/guangzhou-evergrande/can-nemanja-gudelj-replace-paulinho-guangzhou-evergrande/
Gudelj Replaces Paulinho at Guangzhou Evergrande
On the 28th of January 2018, Nemanja Gudelj joined Guangzhou Evergrande. The club from Guangzhou signed the midfielder for an undisclosed fee from Tianjin Teda.
The Serbian international joined Guangzhou Evergrande on a two-year contract after playing one year for Tianjin Teda.
Nemanja Gudelj will play with shirt number 8. This shirt number was also worn by FC Barcelona player Paulinho. Paulinho played two years for Guangzhou Evergrande and was an important midfielder for the club. His strong presence on the midfield in the Chinese Super league earned him a move to FC Barcelona.
At Tianjin Teda, Nemanja Gudelj had an important role for the team. He started 19 games and had a total of 1696 minutes of playing time. He also scored one goal and gave five assists.
It is also noteworthy to mention that Nemanja Gudelj talked about Paulinho and the level of the current Chinese Super League in an interview last year. He stated then: “The move of Paulinho from Guangzhou Evergrande to FC Barcelona shows that the Chinese Super League is being observed by European clubs. At the moment there are playing many good players in this competition. A move to China doesn’t mean your career is over”. It could have been coincidence, but Nemanja Gudelj will follow the footsteps of Paulinho and play for Guangzhou Evergrande with the same shirt number.
Do you think Nemanja Gudelj can replace Paulinho at Guangzhou Evergrande? Leave your answer in the comments below!
