Remove The Bad Things Day
There is a day to celebrate a new year in Balinese Calendar. We have known it as a Nyepi or Silent Day. A day of meditation and fasting for Balinese.
There are rituals at the day before Nyepi called it as Pengerepukan day. They started the Pengerepukan with praying in temple. After that they are prepared to bring Ogoh-ogoh through Village. After that they burned those Ogoh-ogoh. Ogoh-ogoh symbolyzed as a bad things. They hope all bad things burned before the new year comes.
It was my second time to celebrated Silent Day in Bali. There is an interesting part of Ogoh-ogoh that I like so much. Every Village (or Balinese called it Banjar) in Bali made Ogoh-ogoh, all member of banjar participate of it. And they make a competition with the others Banjar. So they made it as good as they can. Then when I saw the Ogoh-ogoh, that was really showed their identity as an artists island.

Happy Bali Dogs,
One fine day, I was lying down at Canggu beach, after cycled about 9 km from my place. It was about 5.30 pm I reached the edge of the beach. The Sun and wave was very strong in front of me. But those people there seemed happy and really enjoyed that moment. Some of them also took their dogs to wasted the rest of the warmed and beauty afternoon. Don’t know why I just felt happy at the time. Looked at the dogs ran everywhere. I hope the others dogs in the world, not only in Bali, could get happiness. Even more for them who don’t have owner and must be tough in the street.
