Dov Could hear the cries from miles away. The broken heart. Broken hearts were more often a sirens tool of use. But Kelpies, she had learned, would also use them. Use them to know who would be easiest to seduce and lure away, to drown. She rushed towards the feeling of the heart, before she felt mildly crushed by the site. She edged towards the girl, crouching down and gingerly putting her hand on her shoulder. “Breathe, love. It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be okay. Shhh, hush now, hush. Breathe.”
Sophia scrubbed the palms of her hands into her eye sockets, she was trying to hard to remain fine and yet it seemed like everyone she knew, and those that she didn't know, had come to find her with her heart screaming on the side of the street. Some parts of her hated the idea of getting stuck in this position, but other parts of her knew that she needed someone to see this so she could get help. She looked up at the woman, the gentle touch to the shoulder was actually more comforting than she'd admit, and she nodded, taking a few deep breaths, repeating that she'd be okay.

“My mom is a nagging pain… pain in the ass- I am sure she will be the same when she has left us.” Annie smiled gently, hating her mother’s antics, but loving her all the same. She continued to fidget, picking at one of the strings that was frayed from her hemline. The offer was a strange one to her. Though, it reminded her ever so slightly of her twin. “If it’ll help, sure. I don’t know how much I can eat, really. I’m not all that hungry. But I can nibble on something.”
"Anyone's mom can be a nagging pain when they want to be, but as long as it's done with love rather than hate, that's where the difference lies in this case." Sophia was pleased for the most part that she was agreeing to have something cooked for her, it would make her feel better to be feeding someone, no matter who. "I- Yeah it will help, I don't know why but there's something therapeutic in cooking and feeding people, then watching them enjoy it, do you want anything in particular?"

Tallie practiced taking some deep breaths, unsure of what to do, or what to say. She was still slightly in pain, but it felt a worlds better to be in Sophia’s arms relaxing. Taking deep breaths to relax herself, she let out a long held one. It came out more ragged than she’d wanted, but the wind had been knocked from her. “You’re mother’s a cunt. She should join the woman who raised me.” She grumbled, pushing away from Sophia gently, and sitting back on her rear to breathe. “That was exhausting,” she spoke through short uneasy breaths, unable to fill her lungs whole. “DO exorcisms exist for us?”
Sophia felt her own body calming down from everything that had just happened, like the wind and fire that had been knocked out and extinguished were rekindling inside of her and she remembered how to exist as a person in the world. Her brain was still mostly scattered but she managed to give a chuckle at Tallie's words. "She really is, I lived with that for so many years, I'm so glad she's gone, she just needs to be more gone." She said with a soft sigh, nodding her head and releasing Tallie easily. "I deal with her almost every day. Some days I get blessed peace." Soph shrugged, "I dunno, but I hope so cause I need it."

Vivian stopped when she heard a woman crying out. She held Angelique a little closer and stepped towards the sound, when she saw the crying woman she frowned and let the light of her magic wash down the sidewalk, gently pushing and nudging before it wrapped itself around the other brunette. “Are you alright, ma’am?”
Sophia couldn't decide whether or not the woman walking up toward her had really helped her so quickly, or whether or not her mother sensed something pure and light radiating from the girl, but whatever it was, it seemed like almost immediately her mother had run away with her tail between her legs. "I... I yes... Well I am now."

He huffed lightly and shook his head in disagreement. “Spice equals death. It makes me cranky and no one likes me when I’m cranky …. not to sound too Hulk.” He scowled down at the noodles before tentatively taking a bite. He huffed again, scowl still in place before shrugging. “They’ll do.” He raised an eyebrow at her before snorting lightly. “Preachin to the choir, as the saying goes. Same song different verse, gets tedious after a while. Town could use a little chaos if you ask me.”
Soph found herself chuckling at him. "If spice equals death you just have to make sure that you start little and eat more of it, even if it makes you get all cranky." She shook her head as she watched him, eating more of her nachos before dumping a massive pot of guacamole on them. "Well I'd hope so, I made them after all." She shook her head, giving a soft sigh. "Well, that would be nice I'm sure but I have enough chaos of my own with the ghost of my mother... Hey do you know anyone would do an exorcism? I'm asking everyone I can think of."

He quirked a brow and bit the inside of his lips to keep himself from questioning her about the story behind her mother haunting her. He sighed as well and gave her an encouraging smile. “If I don’t know someone I’m sure my dad will, or will at least know someone who knows someone. Hell, my mom might even know someone.” He shrugged lightly before giving her a lopsided grin. “You never have to ask me if I’m hungry. I can always eat.” He chuckled lightly.
Sophia gave a nod, at least there was one thing she could have the potential of looking forward to, the idea that one day all of this would hopefully go back to being better overall. "Well, I'm hoping at least one person knows how to, or knows someone who knows how to, that would make my life a hell of a lot easier, might even help me relax." She gave a smile and nodded, taking a second to collect herself. "Alright then, come on, my place isn't far." She said, picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. "My place may be a little messy though, I've been fighting my mother for days."

He snorted lightly and shrugged. “I don’t mind spicy food but only on occasion and only in moderation.” He picked at the noodles in front of him. He wasn’t actually hungry, there was a pressure behind his eyes like his head was about to explode with pain and it made him nauseous. “So, how goes it, Little Fae?”
Soph, shook her head at the idea. "If there isn't spice it isn't nice, that's my rule, watch those noodles, they may make your head explode, they're a little spicy." She chuckled, shaking her head as she wondered how exactly she had been, her head still felt scrambled from everything. "It could be better, it couldn't be too much worse. Basically same shit different day."

He gave a slow thankful nod, letting his magic continue to patrol the alley and keep it clear of anything that shouldn’t be near them. He snorted faintly at her words and shrugged lightly. “I can’t help you with that, I don’t think, but I can ask around and see if I can find anyone who can.” His dad might know someone who could do an exorcism well.
Sophia continued her descent down into the quiet place where she felt more like herself, more like she was some kind of normal. Her mother really had disappeared this time. "Damn, there goes my idea of getting the damn bad spirit out of my life, if you think you know someone, I'll probably try and find something too." She gave a heavy sigh, "are you hungry or anything? Cooking makes me feel normal again."

“Seems like a great thing for mom’s to do,” only a mild hint of sarcasm fluctuating on her voice. She pressed her fingers through her hair, sighing gently as she did. The raggedness of the girl in front of her worried her. Briefly, she thought maybe she should call Gabe. He was always much better at handling this… kind of thing. She fidgeted awkwardly, before clearing her throat, “Uh, well.. is there anything I can get you? I uh, know this couldn’t be… easy.”
"My mom was a bitch in real life, and is proving to be just the same in death, somehow I'm not surprised that she is either." Sophia may have felt like she was fractured and in pieces, but there were so many worse ways she could have been, she could have been screaming and crying and yet she still felt somewhat normal, she just needed to do things that made her feel normal again. "Well, can I cook something for you? Cooking makes me feel more like myself."

Tallulah was still trying to get over the blow to her person, a gross feeling still settled in her abdomen, where pain resonated from. She listened as Soph pleaded with some invisible force, somehow completely inconsolable. She didn’t know what to do now, aside from continuing to attempt to push out as much positive energy from her as possible. Tallie could see her hand in front of her face, somewhat reaching out to Soph, but also to whatever could stabilize her as the spots started clearing from her vision. “I was finishing rounds, what… the fuck… was that?” she breathed out, those breaths haggard and rough, as she wiped a mixture of spit and what she figured was blood from biting her lip after the blow hit her. Irritation flowed through her- but not at Sophie. At whatever the fuck that was.
Soph could feel everything in the room, all the buzz of everything that had happened and all the pain, the pain that was coming from Tallie and she wasn't trying to let Soph see it. Instead of letting her continue to try and push all the positive energy out toward her, Sophia reached out, pulling Tallie into her arms and holding onto her, her entire body began to glow bright with the healing energy she had gotten so used to using on people, especially whjen she could feel them hurting. "I- I'm not sure I'm really not sure whether that was me or her. I'm willing to bet it was still her, my mother, she died recently and she hasn't, she won't, she won't leave me alone and I don't know how to get rid of her, I don't know what to do, I've tried I've tried so hard but she won't go... I need an exorcism."

Coming home, feeling the ragged pain of the day after what had happened with everything lately felt like she was being punched in the gut over and over again, it was a horrific feeling, she felt utterly alone and deserted and she didn't know how to make anything better, or how to make herself better.
Samantha had just completely disappeared, she had disappeared and left her alone to deal with everything. Her every last nerve was frayed and split into pieces, she didn't have anything left in her to pull out because she had spent so long battling a very real problem that people had begun calling her insane for. Dragging her out of her sanity, calling her insane, and she felt it, she felt it so much that she forgot who she was.
After a very long session pushing her mother out of her room once again, the house was upside down, the house felt like what her mind did and as she sat in the middle of the mess she cried for what felt like the thousandth time.
Sophia heard the ring at the door, but she had, for the most part ignored it, until she knew she had to get up, she had to leave her spot and go to make sure it wasn't someone overly important, because if it was she needed to see them instead.
All of the breath was taken from her lungs when she saw Sam standing there, she would have cried, she would have screamed, but she didn't have anything left. Anger swelled up beneath her usually calm demeanor. "Why? So you can abandon me again? So you can abandon me when I need you more than I ever needed you? When you leave because of him? Someone like him? Why should I want to talk to you, Sam? I'm broken, I'm a fucking mess, and you left before I could beg you for the help that I needed. I've nearly killed myself a thousand times over in the past month... Where were you? Where were you when I needed you? I thought we promised we'd never leave each other no matter what happened. I thought we could at least have that." The crying she thought she couldn't bring forward before was now hysterical sobbing. "I needed you!"
Samantha was petrified for many reasons. She had completely deserted her best friend with barely any explanation and she couldn’t get rid of the feeling that no matter how much time passed she would always be on the run. His obsession with her, his need to be in control hadn’t died, nor would it ever.
The last few months had been full of reminders from home and she could feel her mental health deteriorating. Samantha wanted so much to be as strong as she thought she could be, but voices filled her thoughts with nightmares. In all honesty, it was getting high time she looked into some form of professional help. The only problem was figuring out how viable that option was without giving too much away about who she was.
Back in Echo Valley and attempting to get some type of reality back she realised there were things she needed to do, people she needed to talk to and bridges she needed to build.
Samantha ran a hand through her hair, pushing the few strands out of her face and behind her ears, she awkwardly waited by the door, waiting for them to walk out. It was impromptu and uninvited, but she needed to talk and there was no better time than now.
As the door opened she shuffled awkwardly “hey” she said “can we uh, can we talk?”

Annie’s brows were furrowed thickly as she watched the scene in front of her. The energy of the entity was still very present. Annie was wrong. It wasn’t just personified emotions. Quickly, she made a mental note to talk to her mother about it, and see if there was anything she could to help the girl. Surely her mother would know how she could be of assistance. “I’m sorry- I’m sorry, Sophia.” She murmured, chewing on her lip. “I- How- I don’t know how to help,” she felt lost, and the darkness creeped up on her from the inside- helpless.
It wasn't until Sophia was completely broken again, until her world had come crashing down around her feet and the feeling of desperation had seeped through every pore that her mother every left her alone, and here she was, broken, burning and in some of the most humiliating pain of her life and she was free, her mothers ghost leaving her alone, the torment ending finally. "It's okay... It's okay she's gone." She whispered, drawing in a slow and steady breath. "It isn't until I'm truly all broken down to my last little pieces that my mother decides she's bored and leaves me."

At her terrified scream Gabe felt anger bubble up in him and let his magic flow out into the alley, pushing back anything that didn’t belong near them. He crouched in front of her and reached out to push her hair out of her face, shushing her gently. “It’s alright, Sophia. I won’t let her do anything to you.” He gave a soft, soothing hum before sitting beside her. “I can look into it if you want? And I can take you somewhere safe to stay or get you some protection runes for your place.”
For the first time since the attack Sophia slowly began to remember how to breathe, her lungs filling with air and her head getting a lot clearer than it had been. She looked up at him over her tear stained cheeks and nodded, taking in a deep breath. "I... She's gone.. For now.. I can breathe again." She said, sighing and relaxing against the wall, letting her breath come slowly. "I don't think I need protection runes or a safe place, I think I need an exorcism."

He gave an annoyed grunt at the non-answer and shuffled closer to peek at the food. He glanced between her and the food before rolling his eyes exaggeratedly and shrugging as if he was doing her a favor by conceding. “Don’t touch the stir fried noodles. You can have whatever else you want just not that.”
Soph rolled her eyes at his antics, knowing that the reality was she was going to just go back and make some more for herself anyway, but she nodded her agreement. "That's fine, I prefer the nachos anyway, something about the Mexican fire I just can't shake, always been a fan of overly spicy food."

Annie wasn’t entirely sure what to make of the situation. She didn’t know how to help people anymore. Or- did she ever? She was questioning just about everything about her existence lately. The words were strange. Annie knew of ghosts and of spirits- she took them all as energies. But to attack someone? She wasn’t aware of that yet. Awkwardly, she crossed her arms and chewed on her bottom lip, “Tell her to fuck off,” Annie offered, “If she was your mom she’ll probably think that was rude enough to not want to be around you. A ghost is just personified emotions, afterall..”
Sophia wished it was that simple, that she could just tell her mother to fuck off and everything would be sorted, she wouldn't have to deal with her again, but Sophia also knew that life was never that easy, never in a thousand years would anything be that simple. Telling her mother to fuck off in the past had brought more hatred down on herself than anything in the world, and while she tried her best to remain calm, she knew it was going to be hard. "Fuck off, mom" She murmured weakly, cringing back when the sound of a slap cracked and a red hand print appeared on the side of her cheek.

The energy seemed to, in one moment or another, sort itself out. She felt her friend- her far off cousin, come back to her. If even for just a moment. It was a second that felt like eternity. She could feel Sophia open up to her, and cling to her own energy. And just like that, she was ripped away. Tallulah had never experienced an energy of this sort. It made her wonder what it could be- family? Could it be because we’re- family? She felt the blow hit her at the same time as Sophia’s panicked screech- “Agh!” she hit the ground hard, clutching to her abdomen, anger flooding through her, “what the fuck?! Who the fuck?! Sophia! Sophia, listen to me!”
She was taken away, her mind in a far off land as tears began streaming down her face, they weren't little tears, they were tears filled with anger and burning sadness. She was reliving an old memory, cowering back, the blow that had hit her shoving her back against the wall and making her curl up into a ball, "Mom, no I'm sorry mom, please, please don't hurt me again, please mom." She pleaded, but it wasn't her current voice, it was the voice of a little girl, her when she was young, the memory playing out so vividly. When she heard Tallie yell she took a deep breath, coughing and spluttering as air filled her lungs again, her vision becoming clear. "Tallie? What are you doing here?" She asked slowly. "What am I doing here?"

The dark energy assaulted Annael’s form, pulling at her from all directions. She wanted to soak it in, but the panic made it somewhat- polluted. She inched around, looking to see who it could’ve been, hurting so much. When she heard the cry, her eyes locked onto a small form. She recognized it as Sophia, and immediately felt the need to help her. “Soph? Soph??? Are you okay?”
Soph tried to keep herself together, she hid her head between her knees and tried her best to keep herself from being what she was sure many people would have seen her as; weak. She hated that feeling of weakness. She did a triple take around the room, she could still feel some of her energy in the room, but the ghost was mostly gone. “My mother... Her ghost... She’s been following me... Attacking me...”
