More Character Cards !

Previous: one, two, three, four

Moving on in our series of visualizing the characters within this story, we have two upcoming characters in 'WarZone' who have completely stolen the hearts of over half of our entire team! With the first character being a creation by the amazing @sammy--moh , and the second a character created through complete self indulgence, we hope you enjoy the designs.

Starting with,

💚 Syrus Bailey 🌤 -

Syrus is a favorite among the team, not just for his stunning looks, but for his personality and role in the upcoming book. Despite his fun and sweet demeanor, this boy is not afraid of some sarcasm or having quite an attitude, though it's usually playful. Syrus is one of our canonically mute characters, and he does use many different ways to communicate - if thats him signing, or using a tablet. He rarely speaks in the books, but he will if he's around people he is very close with. This is a trait shared with many of our writers!

If you've ever wanted a very very intelligent, tall and really lanky, gamer boyfriend? Then you're in serious luck with this guy. Though he's usually found hanging out in graveyards, or watching the stars outside with his gothic girlfriend.. Who just happens to be the second character in this post! With that,

Here is . . .

💜 Hayden Solace 🌒 -

Every story needs a goth trans woman, in our opinion, so of course - meet Hayden! Our absolutely gorgeous witchcraft using girl, she's pure self indulgence from her writer. She's also selectively mute, but tends to talk more, although whispered and very soft. She's a very gentle, kind, and loving character despite her ghostly ethereal appearance.

She tends to fall into that motherly stereotype, and she absolutely thrives on being compassionate to those around her. Of course, that doesn't define her, she's also incredibly talented in things such as painting and other forms of art, she's very self assured and more than confident, and she always manages to find poetry in any situation she's put in. Though, this doesn't mean she isn't capable of being sassy and blunt, she isn't afraid to call it out when she feels something isn't right - a trait that typically lands her in many conflicts and tense situations in the story..

These two characters are very intertwined, especially in the more tense situations mentioned above, these two are definitely one of our favorite relationships to write with. They're so sweet together, and tend to get protective over each other, its something that will end up playing a large role.

[ Disclaimer ]

This post includes two characters that will be very connected as the story goes on, characters who are meant to mirror each other and follow similar paths within the story. Putting these two together was not just a choice to make multiple of our team members playfully upset, but because it holds the role of foreshadowing.. although it is funny when @sammy--moh reacts to these things.

Anyways, up first we have,

Maxwell ! ❤️‍🔥

Maxwell "Max" Lewis -

The sim that crashed the computer midway through creating him, forcing Sam and Sean to restart. Something so painfully in character for him.

Max is my personal character, and everything from his firey temper to his red hair is based on myself. This character will go through severe ups and downs, and make many mistakes. His closed off nature and his hot headed habits might just lead him into rough territory at times, and I'm excited to write him and show his extremes. Max is a character very dear to me.

Up next, the character that started simply as a ploy device, until Stephen - one of our writers, got so very attached to him and created so much more for him.

Meet,

Mitchell ! ❤️

Mitchell Hayes -

His pictures are a mess, but that's in character for him in many ways.

Since he is going to be introduced very soon, I'll keep this short to avoid spoilers. Originally planned to only function as a plot device for other characters development, he has become so much more. Definitely one of our more complex storylines and harder to fully explain developments, his arc is an interesting one, though "interesting" might not be the right word for what this character will go through and do.

We're all very excited to write WarZone, and this guys personal writer is excited to write his.. let's call it his downfall.

For both of these characters, you have to fall to get back up again - and sometimes those falls are hard and painful, sometimes you knock others down with you.

NRFTI Character Cards!

These next two are upcoming characters in the third book in the series, WarZone !

This first characters name was suggested by the lovely @star-boi0720 over on one of our authors side blogs! Big thank you for all the name suggestions commented for him, it was certainly hard to choose between them all, but we've settled on an alternative spelling for the name Jamie, so, here is -

Jaime !

Jaime "Ace" Aces -

Jaime is a hyperactive very kindhearted boy, he really lives up to his "dog boy" title. Sporting two fluffy little dog ears on his head, hidden under his beanie obviously, and a small tail typically tucked and hidden under clothing. He tends to be very spacey, usually found zoning out whenever he isn't involved in any activities. Super excited to introduce him very soon, hopefully you guys like him! He's a favorite among everyone on our team.

Up next we have yet another character named by someone outside of our writing group, this one was named by one of our friends who doesn't actually have a tumblr blog, so, big thanks to our friend Percy for this guy!

Here is -

Quinn !

Quinn Jett -

One of our tallest characters, at 6'2, visualizing this one in the sims was very fun! If you ignore the very obvious glitches going on with his hair and hood, it was worth ignoring for how cool he looks. As you can see, he has some very pretty fins on his cheeks, while those are typically hidden tucked into his very long hair - showing them on the sim was a neat choice!

Quinn is one of my personal favorite stories and personalities to write for, so I'm not going to spoil much about him. He's typically a rather calm, and "chill" type of character, however he definitely has his goofball or "dad character" moments!

And as a side note, I think he's one of the prettiest characters in the entire series 🧡

Up next is a main character we couldn't have created without the help from a reference drawing created by the very lovely @the-martyrfication-of-the-matron

Despite the design changing very slightly since their original drawing of this character, we still really couldn't have visualized this OC without them.

On that note, here is -

Rory !

Rory Brooks ! 🌧

Our youngest main character, being only 17 or 18 in 'Upwards Bound', despite this they're actually also our third tallest character - being 5'8 ! Which, isn't much, but compared to their 5'5 boyfriend it's pretty funny. As shown in the picture, they have what's called Exotropia, or an outward facing "lazy eye" !

Rory is one of our favorites to write for, though we struggle with their dialogue at times, which brings me onto a detail we haven't been sure how to get across in the story - they, much like two of our authors, have a speech impediment! They struggle making certain sounds, mostly their R sounds, which is unfortunate seeing as they're named Rory...

They seem more on the absent-minded and laid back side, especially with their very playful and silly remarks, however it's not uncommon for them to get that little mischievous glint in their eye and start making super sarcastic jabs and jokes towards friends, and thats nothing compared to their temper..

As a little bonus fact, this character is written with level two + medium/high support needs autism, which will show in their scenes. Their main writer and primary character creator, shares this with them.

We hope this representation is received well 🤍

NRFTI Character cards!

In celebration of finally reaching the main aspects of our book series, and stepping out of prequel territory, we're posting Sims4 recreations of our cast of main characters, and beloved side characters!

We wanted to make this post seem silly and fun, even childish with how we discuss the characters, to really contrast the direction the story is about to take.

Now,

Starting, of course, with our main character -

Adam !

Adam Dyam { pronounced as die-am }

He is 5'11, a capricorn, and a big huge dork of a guy. With a heart of gold, and a smile on his face, he's typically referred to as the "Dad Character"

Being only 21 in 'Upwards Bound' we cannot wait to watch his character grow!

Maybe one day we'll see what he hides under those sunglasses he always wears? ☀️

Up next for the character cards we have another main character that will be (fully) introduced very soon, coming up in 'WarZone' - we have,

Nyx !

Tyler "Nyx" Elijah !

Standing at only 5'1, this dragon hybrid is the shortest of our primary characters. However, he is unsurprisingly the strongest. He is an Aries, and our second youngest main character!

He may look scary, but this guy is just a big silly sweetheart with a huge soft spot for children, but.. yknow, it's still best to stay on his good side.

A Maxis Match Makeover ! ~ ♡

I absolutely love Clare Siobhan, and all of her gorgeous sims, it was only a matter of time until we did a makeover of one of her characters! So obviously we're starting off with the iconic Lilith 💕

Sadly unable to get the pink dye, but otherwise shes absolutely stunning - but obviously she could pull anything off, its Lilith ✨️

🍃 With Minthe still at work, Don found himself struggling to keep busy around the house, having just moved in. So, he decided to focus on himself.

Leaving his snowman friend alone in the yard.

He started to practice a few things in the mirror, his mind still stuck on his relationship with the lovely eccentric scientist lady. Something in his tense mind told him that this relationship was bound to work out, this was the only girl he actually connected with.

Absent-mindedly, he began practicing proposals, and flirts of course. This development both freaked him out, made him more tense, and at the same time.. he was excited. Happy and excited.

Don was proud of himself for his growth in the past while, from meeting just another cute girl in a local bar, to actually moving in with her and thinking about a life together..

With an odd mix of feelings in his mind, there were only minutes until Minthe returned from work.

And one day until the New Year..
