The concept is that in chapter 4, instead of setting up the virtual world as a way to get rid of Kokichi, Miu instead decides to actually commit to the plan to live in VR! ......by trapping everyone inside and ruling over the world as god-queen. By luck (Kaito) and suspicion of Miu's intentions (Kokichi), the Oumota boys end up the only ones not captured and have to fight their way through Miu's evil boss tower to rescue everyone.

Also, some designs and wips if anyone's interested:

I had lots of fun putting in little video game references throughout, but pouty Tamagotchi Tsumugi is probably my fave! (I imagine she's geeking out over the double reference of SDR2 AI Junko and SAO-like "trapped in a VR game" stories but also pissed off that she's totally lost control of the scenario.) Painting the internal parts of the actual supercomputer was kind of annoying, but I love how that BG turned out as a whole!
