YOUNG JUSTICE -
Artemis Crock × Reader.
Artemis laid on the floor holding her, sure to be broken, ribs as she tried breathing properly. "Stop!" You were not a hero like your girlfriend but when this man showed up you didn't hesitate to step in.
"Get out of the way." The man slapped you across the face again.
"Stop!" Artemis cried out making you turn only to get kicked to the ground.
"Stop hurting her!" Artemis begged. The man stood over you grabbing you by the neck then lifted you and slammed you against the wall. You were sure you heard a bone or two breaking.
"Dad please stop." Artemis cried and you were in slightly too much pain to realise what she had said. You felt yourself begining to choke and you tried breaking lose but his grip was too strong.
"Stop you're gonna kill her!" Artemis pulled out something from her back and next thing you know is you drop to the floor then on your knees but before you could fall over Artemis grabbed you in her arms.
You coughed and wheezed trying to breathe again seeing the man had an arrow in his arm and hand he got up and walked away.
You cupped Artemis's cheeks looking in her eyes seeing her tears. "Hey." You coughed wiping her tears away and quickly pecked her lips hissing when you felt yours stinging.
"I'm so sorry." She apologised and you shook your head. "I'm not mad at you. I'm not going anywhere. But I think we both need to go to a hospital." You said and she smiled softly.
"No hospital is gonna take as good a care of you as I will." She picked you up bridal style then walked you home.
//At Home//
Artemis walked in and to her room where she put you on her bed. Rushing to get the first aid kit.
"I need to see if you got hurt underneath your shirt." She said and you nodded lifting your arms as she took your shirt off. You were surprised by how good she was at being a medic. She even walked you through helping her get bandaged.
"This isn't how I imagined being the first time to see you shirtless." You admitted with a sheepish smile. "Oh really?" She smiled before sitting down next to you on the bed.
"Wasn't mine either." She admitted making you chuckle then rest your head on her shoulder while taking her hand in yours.
"We'll have to do it again." You said making her laugh as she laid down pulling you into her arms. "We most definitely do." Artemis agreed making you smile.
Despite the terror you felt earlier being in her arms once again brought your mind to ease as you fell into a tranquil silence.

"WE NEVER MET."
CW THE FLASH -
Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost × Meta-Reader.
//2025//
The last ten years had been an absolute blur. You weren't sure what caused you to end up in a maximum prison but you were there and treated poorly because of it.
You had little sense of what was going on around you. Moments were clear but those moments were few and far between. You suspected it was because your alter ego kept her hands steadfast on the reigns.
"Killer Frost will soon join us but first we you need to push her a little." The speedster spoke and you looked at him with a blank expression. "It's time Blizzard stepped out." He spoke earning a sigh from your alter ego.
"Please don't." Blizzard nearly begged. 'Not my call.' Blaze sighed.
"Do we have a problem Blaze." The speedster stepped closer bit you didn't move. "No." You simply shook your head before turning allowing the speedster to pierce your skin with his suit activating the control chip to adjust to your oncoming cold body temperature knowing this side was harder to control.
He watched as the fire in your hair went out and your hair turned an icy blue colour. "Blizzard." He nodded at you and you stared at him taking a step back. "Savitar." You acknowledged him.
"Your time to shine." He grabbed your arm before he sped you to your needed place.
//2015//
Standing outside the woman's house you looked over but the speedster was gone.
You sighed and walked over to her house sneaking in through the window then heard her in the shower. You concentrated on the water flowing, keeping the water flowing as you cooled down the rest of the bathroom triggering the woman's alter ego to adapt to the cold and step out more.
--TIME SKIP--
You weren't sure how long you'd been out as your usual self making Caitlin Snow more paranoid, pushing her daily by the demands of Savitar. You could sense your alter ego burning to step out again but as you sat drinking your iced coffee you ignored that voice.
"Another iced coffee." The waiter put the glass down and you nodded at her while she took the empty glass. You waited around patiently being sure to avoid the places Savitar told you team flash would be at. But no one made iced coffee like Jitters and frankly being locked up for so long. You couldn't help it.
'You need to get back to the lair!' You heard Blaze making you sigh. "I'm not leaving after I've finished. I'm a person too I deserve a coffe now and then." It was much easier being a bitch towards Blaze as she couldn't do anything unlike Savitar.
'You're incredibly stupid.'
"We're the same person." You sighed taking a gulp of your coffee.
'We are not.' Blaze simply scoffed before leaving you to be once more. "Noisy bitch." You sighed shaking your head.
--TWO HOURS LATER--
Arriving at the lair you barely entered when you got slammed against the wall by Savitar. You didn't even bother fighting him.
"Where were you?" He demanded and you sighed. "Drinking an iced coffee." You choked out and he punched you in the gut.
"Blaze come out right now." Savitar said and you gasped shaking your head best you could. "No! Stop please!" You begged but soon the heat began trickling down your spine.
'I warned you Bliz.' Blaze said and you groaned as your skin began burning from her overwhelming heat. "Stop please!" You cried out trying not to flare your cold because you would hurt Savitar and anger him more.
'You know I have to do as he says.' Blaze said but you simply groaned then cried out in pain. "Stop!" You felt yourself slipping as Blaze pushed to take over but not entirely so you could feel her powers burn you up from the inside out.
"I'm sorry!" You cried out before passing out from the heat. Savitar dropped your unconscious body on the floor as Blaze retreated once more so you could heal yourself with your cold powers.
--TIME SKIP-KILLER FROST JOINS--
Shackled like a dog. That was your life now. Frost was Savitar's new favourite lacky. Blizzard got hurt and after your most recent torture thanks to Savitar, Blaze couldn't call you back to be Blizzard and that left you useless in his eyes.
You were hiding, running away from Blaze. Avoiding her at all costs. You wished to die but you couldn't, Blaze would go supernova if you did. Same if Blaze would die, you'd go well supernova but with a colder twist to it.
In your mind you ran and hid under your bed which was ironically the bed you'd been sleeping in the past ten years. Blaze had formed much more of your psyche in that time so you were really hiding in her territory.
'Bliz stop running.' You saw her feet and gulped, she then sat down in the doorway.
'I'm sorry for hurting you.' You couldn't see her face but didn't want to risk revealing yourself to her.
'It's either I burn you or Savitar kills you.' She insisted but you stayed quiet slowly turning your back to face her.
'Don't you get it I'm doing this to keep you safe? That's why I always insist on killing. You don't have the stomach or the guts. I know I don't always show it but I'm trying to protect you, I care. It's why I was created.' You slowly turned to lay on your back and look to your side seeing Blaze walking over to the bed then sit down leaning against the bed.
'I'm trying to make the best out of a shitty situation.' She insisted and you sighed softly looking at her hand on the floor seeing the fire in her veins. "You hurt me." You finally spoke after what felt like months of silence.
'You have no idea how much it pains me to forcefully take over your cold body. It stings. I get hurt too. But I know we can -' You gasped when you felt a cold hand on your skin.
'What was that?' Blaze asked touching her cheek. "What?" You got out under the bed standing with Blaze and suddenly you could see out of your eyes. Piercing white eyes staring into yours.
"Back off Snow White." Blaze slapped the woman's hand away.
"I'll burn your hand off." Blaze glared but she seemed unphased. "I'd like to see you try." The woman smirked and you could feel Blaze getting angrier.
"Wanna go princess?" Blaze stumbled up ignoring the shackles clanging. "No. And I'm not a princess." She glared at Blaze while you simply stared amazed by her beauty.
'Easy there keep it in your pants.' Blaze spoke internally making you groan. "For real? Can't I just compliment a beautiful lady?" You asked internally earning a chuckle.
"What's so funny?" Killer Frost demanded and Blaze just grinned. "Blizzard thinks your pretty." You were sure if you were fronting you'd be blushing.
"Your ice friend?" Frost asked and Blaze shrugged. "If you want to call her that." She hummed.
"So there's really two people in there?" Frost asked pointing at your head and Blaze nodded. "Like you and Snow." Blaze said and for a moment you saw her shiny white eyes go brown before flickering white again.
"Idiot! She doesn't know yet!" You yelled internally worried that Savitar would hear.
"What?" Frost asked confused. "Forget I said anything. Stop talking to me." Blaze turned around in the shackles with your back facing the woman.
"Look I'm bored and you spoke first." Frost pointed and Blaze scoffed. "I didn't say anything." You denied turning again.
"You said, “you hurt me”. That's something." Frost countered and you sighed. "Well just ignore me and toss me aside. It's all I'm good for apparently." Blaze snapped and you sighed shaking your head mentally.
"Can I meet your friend Blizzard?" Frost asked peeking your interest but you could practically feel Blaze build the walls higher forcing you back. "Why?" Blaze inquired and Frost shrugged.
"I'm wondering what she's like." Frost simply stated. "She's boring and cold." Blaze snapped.
"One of two things we have in common." Frost said displaying her cold hands holding it out to you. Blaze made a flame in her hand then grabbed Frost's hand but to both your surprise you felt Blaze's scorching heat start to disperse and you got forced to the front until you had taken back control.
"Killer Frost. I'm assuming you're Blizzard." She smirked and you nodded. "Unfortunately you had the pleasantries of meeting Blaze first." You said earning a dry chuckle.
"You're very cold." Blizzard said earning a proud nod from the white haired woman. "Why haven't I met you in the two weeks I've been here?" Frost asked and you bit your tongue wanting to ask the same about her counterpart and against your better judgement you asked anyway.
"I could ask the same about your less frosty side." You stated earning a glare from the woman who pushed you against the wall icicle against your neck and in an instant Blaze came out melting the icicle. "Careful princess, you want to hurt Bliz you have to get through me first." Blaze glared placing a burning hand on her chest over her heart.
"Don't forget, I already did." Frost raised a snarky brow. "Fool me once." Blaze said before you heated up your body sensing her cold presence begin to fade so you stopped not wanting more trouble from the big boss.
"I see you've finally found your fire again, Blaze." Savitar said and you looked over at the speedster who stepped out of his suit walking over to you.
"Is Blizzard still scared to come play?" Savitar asked again and Blizzard panicked looking over at Frost who knew she'd gotten you out but luckily she stayed quiet. "She'll come out when she's needed." Blaze said and he nodded before taking off the shackles.
"Go with Killer Frost. You're gonna kidnap Cecile to get Tracy so Killer Frost can kill her." He said and Blaze looked over at Frost who wore a blank expression on her face.
"Blizzard will play nice. Don't you worry." Blaze said to the speedster who nodded then left. "Killer Frost is in charge." He spoke before disappearing.
"So far you're our element of surprise. Speed and cold don't mix so Blizzard will be more helpful. I don't know if your heat will contradict my ice and I'm not taking another chance." Frost said as you walked to the CCPD where you cleared the DA's office of people so Frost could grab her.
At Joe's house you waited out of sight for Frost to do her part and at the warehouse you hid in the other room knowing Cisco would hide in the rafters so you planted a bomb to smoke him out of his spot.
"This is my job. Don't come out until I say to." Frost demanded and Blaze scoffed but agreed staying put.
"We're a family." The Flash's words rung in your head over and over. Frost has family, why would she do this to them?
'Don't over think. It's how you get soft.' Blaze said. "Why would she fight them? I would kill for a family." Blizzard countered.
'Maybe they're not so good.' Blaze tried lying to get you to focus on the mission. "They're fighting to keep her safe and a live. I wish I had that." Blizzard said sadly.
'You have me.' Blaze snapped. "You know what I mean!" Blizzard snapped back.
"Frost!" You called out seeing her knocked on the ground. You ripped the control from Blaze and busted through the wall freezing Flash and the exit Joe took then blasted Cisco back while running to stand over Frost.
You created ice spikes to keep them at bay. "Who are you?" Flash demanded after he broke free from your ice. "No one." You simply said. You knew in the end you'd be lost to history with no one to remeber you. Your future was as lonely as your past.
"Hand over Caitlin and I won't hurt you." Cisco said and you flicked your wrist causing icicles to shoot out of the already made barried causing them to jump. "I don't answer to the likes of you Vibe." Your voice was echoing in a similar way to Frost's, this only happened when you were working your cold powers harder than usual.
"Are you some evil sister we never knew of? Why didn't I ever meet you?" Vibe asked and you glared at him. "You're long gone when I first learn about you." You said making him stop.
Savitar appeared standing behind you now with Frost between the two of you. You stayed silent knowing he probably had something to say and low and behold he did. He took you with Caitlin back to the lair slamming you into a wall.
"Why didn't you cover her?" He growled and you closes your eyes struggling to breathe. "I didn't give her the signal to intervene." Killer Frost spoke up making Savitar turn and look at her.
"She was only following her orders." Killer Frost said making the speedster drop you and speed away. You stayed on your hands and knees gasping for air holding your throat freezing the bruising skin to ease the burning sensation.
You looked up grey eyes meeting white ones. You wanted to say thanks but you were too scared to talk. Frost could see it in your eyes, you were thanking her and she could swear she felt her cold heart melt but she ignored it walking over to you helping you stand.
"What happened back there?" She asked in a hushed voice. "Savitar is strong. I don't stand a chance." Your voice was hoarse.
"I meant before that. It's like you weren't even there." She raised a brow. "I couldn't think straight. It's hard with two voices talking at the same time." Blizzard gave her half the truth not wanting to drop Blaze in trouble.
"Get your voices under control." She said before walking off and you could swear you saw her smirking.
--TIME SKIP--
'Blizzard I'm serious shut up!' Blaze tried silencing the ice Meta.
"You're gonna kill her?" Blizzard asked Savitar who glared at you and you couldn't help but gulp. "You have a problem?" He inquired not noticing Killer Frost behind him.
"It's just she didn't do anything. I thought Flash was your enemy." Blizzard said backing up until your back hit the wall he punched you in the gut making you double over. "He is." Savitar grabbed your hair pulling your head to the side before stabbing you in the neck reactivating the chip and bringing Blaze out and shoving you to your knees.
"You have until midnight to get me Ramon." Savitar said to a kneeling Blaze who nodded before he sped off.
"Want me to help you?" Frost asked and you stood up walking over to her staring at her. "You don't help Blizzard when she's being man handled. Why offer to help now?" Shoving past her Blaze made sure to burn the meta's jacket before flying away to go do her job.
Blaze showed no mercy toward the Meta. Using his weakness against him and aiming at people to distract him. And before Flash could even show up you grabbed him in a headlock.
"Don't think I won't kill your friends to help Savitar achieve his goals." Blaze warned as she melted the earpiece he had. "Why? Because you're his new lacky?" Vibe asked and you scoffed.
"Because my life depends on it." Blaze walked Cisco to the lair and held him captive staring him down until Savitar approached shoving you to the side.
"You're going to help me." Savitar spoke to the hero.
You sat one side watching Cisco work and then see Frost approach. You stepped closer not wanting her to screw up.
"Let her talk to her family Blaze." Blizzard mentally pleaded. 'I'm not going to pay the price for her doubts.' Blaze snapped.
"I will."
'What?'
"Let her be. I will take the damage."
'You'd take a beating just for princess to get her family back?'
"Yes." Blizzard answered making Blaze sigh.
"Who's your multi-talented friend?" Cisco asked pointing at you and Frost chuckled. "She's hell of a lot more interesting then you losers." Frost said and Blizzard smiled at her words.
'Stop being so soft.' Blaze scolded.
"Why because she's pshyco like you pretend to be?" You jumped down at his words making him flinch. "Wanna say it to my face?" Blaze asked heating the room purposely to make him sweat.
"Stop." Frost put a hand on your shoulder much to Blaze's dislike cooling you down. "We need him alive." She said and you nodded before standing next to Frost.
When Savitar came back you flinched and walked to the other side of the room watching as Frost went to kill Vibe. Blizzard wanted to stop her but Blaze forcefully kept fighting for control forcing you to your knees and in the short time Cisco escaped.
"Let's go." Savitar grabbed you and Frost then sped to the edge of the forest. You and Frost stood ready for demon looking Black Flash.
Once he got out Blaze shot fireballs to draw him closer to Frost who then froze him and made him shatter into pieces. You and Frost then shot Savitar with some speed force gun or something and afterwards a battle ensued.
You faced off against Gypsy and Vibe with Killer Frost although you were far too distracted trying to keep Frost safe and battling yourself.
"Blaze please stop!" Blizzard begged.
'Now is not the time!'
"Don't hurt them! They're Frost's family!"
'They think we're the bad guys. What do you think will happen when they win?'
"We won't be a punching bag anymore!" That sentence made Blaze lose focus and get blasted unconscious.
--A WEEK LATER--
"I didn't do anything!" You called out in a fruitless attempt to be free.
"Will you please stop?" Blizzard asked tiredness clear in her voice even if only internally. 'They operated on us then locked us up. We have no recollection of the past few months doesn't that bother you!?' Blaze snapped making Blizzard sigh.
"I am freaked out. And scared. But I'm also extremely tired from you screaming constantly and punching the door constantly. I can't heal us and our hands are bleeding so please just stop. For once just stop." Blizzard begged nearing a breakdown. 'I can't stop.' Blaze sighed.
"This power dampeners is making it harder for me to stay awake. I can't fight to stay awake and heal us." Blizzard said again. 'Then stop trying to heal us.' Blaze snapped.
"I can't do this anymore." Those were the last words Blaze heard Blizzard say. It was eerily quiet in their shared mind and it was very lonely too. Enough to push her closer to the edge.
--SIX MONTHS LATER--
Caitlin returned and only after coming clean on Killer Frost. After Cisco's comment. "If only the other one bad such a cool personality." Then it clicked to Caitlin that the woman she imagined in her moments of clear mind wasn't an illusion.
"Where is she?" Caitlin asked earning a raised brow. "Who?" Iris asked confused.
"The woman who was with Killer Frost?" Caitlin asked and Cisco took her down to the pipeline opening the door.
Once she came into view Caitlin felt her heart break, the woman sat with copper streaks in her hair no visible flame on her head as she stared blankly at them.
"Blizzard?" Caitlin asked cautiously. "You killed her! I remember everything! You're supposed to be the heroes!" Blaze snapped jumping up at the man making Cisco flinch.
"What?" Caitlin looked at her best friend. "I didn't kill anyone." He shook his head.
"She's gone because of you. It's quiet. I can't hear anything." Blaze looked and sounded like a madwoman but Caitlin knew better.
"Leave us please." Cisco frowned at his best friend wanting to object but got interrupted.
"Don't let me down Frost." Caitlin whispered before giving over to her alter ego who smiled upon seeing the familiar face.
"Blaze?" She frowned noticing your bruised hands and empty eyes. Unlocking the door she could practically feel the heat pouring out of the cell but she stood firm.
"Please I don't want to go back." Blaze shook her head staying inside the cell. "Savitar is dead." Frost said and she could see the fire returning to those copper coloured eyes.
"And where were you?" Blaze asked bitterly her voice hoarse from screaming. "I had to work on being a team player." Frost shrugged.
"Good for you. While you were playing Guru Frost and Snow I was locked up. All alone. The food here is crap." Blaze snapped at the woman who sighed and walked closer sitting against the open door of the cell.
"It doesn't sleep too bad though." Frost said earning a raised brow from the other woman. "Been there didn't get the shirt." She teased but got no response from the woman making her turn around and look at the woman who was just staring.
"Blizzard was right, you are pretty." Blaze said almost reluctantly.
"Can I talk to her?" Frost asked making you scoff.
"I haven't heard from her in six months. For all I know she's dead. Because of your hero friends." Blaze said sadly and to her surprise Frost pulled her into a hug emitting more cold to cool Blaze down and even if it took all her energy to do so she let Caitlin take over once Blizzard was awoken once again.
"Blaze?" You immediately spoke up looking around seeing Caitlin stand with you. 'I'm here.' Blaze answered after a moment.
'It's good to hear your voice again.' Blaze admitted. "Who's going soft now?" The teasing got interrupted.
"So you're Blizzard?" You looked at the brunette who you had seen but never met. "I'm Caitlin Snow." Caitlin held her hand out watching you stare at her hand before taking it in yours looking up into her warm eyes, ones you'd seen only for moments before Frost took back control.
"You can call me Y/n." You said and she smiled shaking your hand gently yet firmly.
"We never met." You noted and she smiled again making your cold heart melt.
"Frost had the pleasantries of meeting you first." Caitlin said making you chuckle remembering those as your own words.
"Would you like to go get some proper dinner? Blaze said the food was bad." Caitlin offered making you smile. "Jitters has great iced coffee." You said making her chuckle.
"Let's go." You stepped out of the cell taking a deep breath feeling an odd sense of relief wash over you. You hadn't been free in so long you had forgotten what it felt like, first it was mind control then it was being locked up.
"You good?" Caitlin asked seeing you pause almost immediately. "I forgot what it's like being your own person. Being able to make your own choices." You said not seeing the sad smile Caitlin had.
You let out a short laugh at the overwhelming feeling then pulled Caitlin into a tight hug which she reciprocated even if caught off guard.
"I think we should get iced coffees to celebrate." You suggested and she nodded as you began walking out of S.T.A.R. Labs again.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 6/6)
Killer Frost is back
You were the first person she came to see.
Coming out of the shower dressed in a sports bra and shorts you ruffled your hair leaving it to dry. You didn't have the energy to do it after your long day.
You went to see your brother today and Barry had to bring you in for Cisco to put you in the cooling chamber and they had to give you a sedative to calm you down. You still felt sluggish from the sedative.
You were wearing Caitlin's meta dampening necklace in attempt to easy your mind. As you didn't have speed running through your veins the sedative was working much more efficiently.
"Hey hotstuff." You froze mid step slowly looking over your shoulder. You recognised her voice not needing to look but you were sure you were going crazy. "I really need to sleep off this sedative." You sighed shaking your head turning your back on Frost.
"What?" She asked clearly confused. "I am not talking to my hallucinations." You waved her off but as you went to close the door the doorknob froze making you pull back.
"Remind me to never take a sedative from Cisco ever again." You muttered until you felt a cold hand on your back. You stood completely still.
"This scar is new." Her voice was soft but still slightly distorted. "It does feel like it's on fire. So possibly." You felt your shoulders ease as the cold from her touch spread on your burning skin.
"You're really here?" You asked finally turning to face Frost who took a step back. "Yeah." She nodded and you smiled sadly.
"Pitstop or permanent?" You asked and she stayed silent.
"I like your outfit." You gestured at her outfit that was very cool. "I like yours more." Frost said making you blush under her intense gaze.
"Why did you come here?" You asked and Frost looked down for a moment. "We wanted to see you." You raised a brow looking behind her for another person but she just chuckled.
"Caity says hi." Frost said and you raised a brow. "You can talk to her?" You asked and she shook her head.
"Oh wait you meant you and Snow came to see me?" You asked trying to wrap your head around everything. "Bingo." She nodded.
"Would you mind sticking around a little longer?" You asked Frost who raised a brow but nodded. "I don't mind." She shrugged waving you off when you smiled.
You tried getting to know Frost more and sensing she was equally if not more guarded than Caitlin so you stuck to basic questions.
Frost noticed it and appreciated it but she promised Caity she would try to let you in.
"Did you go to your brother?" Frost asked and you immediately fell silent looking at you hands. "You know about him?" You asked softly and she shrugged.
"I have Caity's memories too." Frost informed and you let out a shaky breath. "I tried going to him but passed out before I could say anything." You almost whispered staring at the floor.
You felt her cold hand on your leg and you put your hand over hers looking at her hand seeing your bracelet on her pale arm. You smiled weakly at the sight.
"I'm sure he understands." Frost said and you bowed your head closing your eyes trying to stop the tears. "It just hurts today." You admitted in a shaky voice unsure why you allowed yourself to be so vulnerable around Frost, maybe because she was soft towards you or maybe because you were too tired to mask it all for longer.
She pulled you into a hug that you happily melted into. "It's okay babe." You heard Caitlin's voice making you let out a sob. You missed her voice more than you thought possible.
"I'm here now." She whispered as she rubbed your back and you cried into her shoulder. She could feel your body overheating again and when she saw the necklace she wore she sighed.
Standing up she took you to your room where she put the aircon on and laid down with you on the bed in hopes that your temperature would come down but it didn't seem to happen.
"Are you okay with Frost?" Caitlin asked and you hummed not really thinking much of her question. "She's been nice to me." You said easing Caitlin's nerves quite a bit.
"Can I bring her out? She can cool you down." Caitlin offered knowing that if your temperature would go any higher you'd fall ill again. "I just don't want to be alone." You whispered tiredly.
"I'm not going anywhere." You barely heard her over your own thoughts. You opened your eyes seeing how Caitlin's soft eyes turned to a bright white colour as her hair turned white. You watched as her skin turned pale and you could see that it was an entirely different person but still Frost looked at you with soft eyes.
"Hey hotstuff." Frost greeted with a smirk but when she saw how tired you looked she worried. "What's going on?" She asked not sure why she was back.
"Snow said you'd cool me off." You mumbled hiding your face in her chest as you yawned. "You are heating up." Frost noted before you physically felt the room turn into a freezer which eased your burning skin and chaotic thoughts.
"That okay?" She asked and you hummed snuggling closer to Frost who stayed completely still. "Perfect." You curled up into her side as she laid staring at the door unable to fight her smile.
You found out that Frost had a soft spot for you too.
Before going she spoke some more and admitted that although she and Caitlin were two different people she also liked you.
"I thought it was because you took care of Caity but when I was fronting you were the only one who didn't completely dismiss me and you acknowledged me as my own person. Being away gave us both time to think and I missed you mostly." Frost seemed to be a bit awkward as she admitted these things but still it oddly warmed your heart.
You didn't have time to reply when your phone rang. An emergency at S.T.A.R. Labs.
You told Frost you'd talk later as you rushed out of the room getting in the car driving to S.T.A.R. Labs.
Reaching there you saw Frost there and everyone staring. You stood silently watching Caitlin take over again and seeing her small smile you realised just how much you missed kissing her.
The first opportunity you had, you pulled Caitlin aside and had her pinned to a wall kissing her deeply and much to your delight she didn't deny you. If anything she simply encouraged you but pulling you closer to her.
Mid-kiss she quickly pulled away confusing you.
You apologised thinking you had overstepped but she shook her head and you waited as she stood holding you close.
"Did Frost confess her feelings?" Caitlin asked and you nodded. "I wanted to talk to you before I answered her." You admitted letting her sit down with you.
"Do you like Frost?" Caitlin asked and you blushed looking down. "I don't dislike her." You shrugged.
"Guys you need to see this." You and Caitlin got interrupted.
You didn't have opportunity to finish that talk. And you did very smoothly avoid that talk because you were too nervous.
Caitlin noticed this and so did Frost, sharing their thoughts with sticky notes deciding that it was better to give you time.
Only after she used the cerebral inhibitor that Cisco made did they talk to each other catching up on everything.
Of course you were also topic of discussion.
Caitlin had caught you off-guard by kissing you before you could get out of the cooling chamber. You sat upright and kissed her back and she used the cold powers to cool you down making you think Frost was taking over so you pulled away.
"Hey whoa." You held your hands up no longer holding her waist making her giggle. Although they wanted you to start the talk after the dangerous mission they didn't want to wait any longer.
"Snow." You sighed feeling yourself flush red as she smirked at you. "Got you." She winked.
"Frost and I thought we'd leave you to talk but after today we decided to talk first." Caitlin said and you nodded listening to her.
"You know both of us like you very much. We want to know if you maybe like both me and Frost?" You fell silent avoiding her eyes. "I..." You felt yourself begin to panic but you didn't know why. They both openly liked you and didn't hide it. Frost loved flirting with you when she fronted and it always left you all flustered.
"It's okay we both had a long conversation thanks to Cisco's gadget and one thing we seem to strongly agree on is that you're the best thing in our life." You smiled at her words. "I really like you both too." You said and she smiled relieved with your words.
"You're okay with that?" You asked Caitlin who nodded. "I never imagined to ever be here but I know Frost cares about you just as much as I do. I'm just hoping you're okay with us both liking you?" Caitlin asked and you sighed.
"Honestly I do like you both and it scared me because I thought you wouldn't like me back." You admitted. "Frost has been shamelessly flirting with you." Caitlin said in disbelief at your words.
"Yeah but I know she's got a very rebellious streak in her so I was afraid she was just pulling my leg or something." You shrugged giving her a sheepish smile. "Frost says she knows you secretly liked it." You flushed red at Caitlin's smirk making you clear your throat.
"She's a brave backseat driver." You mumbled not noticing the shift as you were still on the cooling chamber. "I'm an even braver driver." You heard Frost making you gasp and stand up turning to her.
"Don't you agree?" She stood up walking to you as you backed up until you hit Caitlin's desk. "Hmm." You hummed trying to avoid looking at her.
"Caity she's shy. You said she's bold." You were much more bolder with Caitlin. She was a Bada$$ but she was also a very soft person who you felt the need to protect. Frost was a Bada$$ and a very hard person which made your protective streak fail slightly as you felt weak compared to her.
A cold hand cupped your cheek as she stared into your eyes but when she rolled her eyes you suspected Caitlin was talking to her. "I'm not intimidating her." Frost answered out loud making you gulp.
"Is the mighty Y/n intimidated by me?" Frost asked curiously. "You're really attractive." You blurted while grabbing onto the desk tightly.
"You're not too bad yourself hotstuff." She winked making you blush even harder. "Thanks." You mumbled.
Caitlin came to your rescue by fronting allowing you to let out a long breath while resting your head on her shoulder as she laughed.
You assured both you weren't scared of Frost after Frost asked you if you were aftaid to kiss her because of the cold kiss she gave you.
You admitted to Caitlin that you didn't know how to react to Frost's flirting since it was usually you being the approaching one.
"You don't like that Frost is a dominant person?" Caitlin asked and you blushed. "Of course not. I just find it weird being so susceptible to her charm." You shrugged making Caitlin smile.
"Now you know how I felt. Frost is getting back at you for all the times you left me flustered." Caitlin said making you gasp. "This is a team effort." You gasped realising they were teaming up on you.
"Oh well played doc." You pulled her into your body holding her close kissing her neck smiling when she tilted her head to the side allowing you more access. You nibbled on the soft skin making her gasp and grab tightly onto your suit.
You felt a cold hand against your chest pushing you back and you felt your heart racing but only saw a smirking Caitlin as she could feel your heart racing.
"I hope I get enough of that before Frost falls susceptible to your charms too." Caitlin said making you laugh and pull her into a kiss.
You were closer with Caitlin than Frost but you two quickly worked on fixing that. Many dates and movie nights you spent just getting to know each other better.
Your first kiss with Caitlin was different than your first kiss with Frost.
"Come on Snow. It's just rain." You insisted as you stepped out into the rain. "What if we get sick?" She asked and you laughed.
"I use a cooling chamber daily. This is nothing for me and you seem rather fond of the cold yourself." You teased taking her hand and she stepped into the rain with you.
You ran around acting goody making the doctor laugh as you danced your way over to her pulling you closer and spinning her hugging her from behind as you both swayed in the rain.
"Smooth." She noted as you spun her around again pulling her closer she wrapped her arms around your neck resting her forehead against yours feeling how hot your skin still was. You held her waist as you both shuffled through the rain.
Opening your eyes you saw her looking at your lips and you did the same unable to resist her red lips you leaned in leaving a moment for her to object but she pulled you closer and for the first time you shared a gentle and passionate kiss.
Your first kiss with Frost was much different than Caitlin's.
Laying on the floor you stared at the metal rod sticking through your abdomen you groaned. "Y/n!" Frost mumbled panicked kneeling next to you. "Hey." You coughed up some blood.
"The irony." You attempted to joke but Frost failed to see the humour.
"Caity can help." Frost said but you grabbed her wrist.
"We're in the middle of the field she won't be able to help." You said groaning when Frost put her jacket over your wound to stop the bleeding. "What do I do? You've read all those medical books." Frost said but your mind was fumbling at the loss of blood.
"Don't pull it out." You said and she nodded. "But you need to get me back to base so Snow can look at it." You said and she nodded looking at you seeing how you were growing pale.
"Frost." She leaned closer to hear you and you cupped her cheek. "I never told you this before but a frown doesn't look so good on you." You teased making her frown again.
You cupped her neck and pulled her down into a kiss that she returned. The kiss was cold but you melted at the touch of her lips feeling your mind begin to clear and fill with nothing but Frost.
You fell back onto the ground with a dazed smile. "What if I freeze the wound?" Frost asked and you nodded. "Could stop the bleeding. I'm always overheating so if you don't freeze it too much it should defrost by the time we get back." You said and she nodded looking at you.
"This might hurt." She said and you began to visibly panic.
"Hey." H.R. arrived running over to them and Frost pointed at the pole. "When I kiss her. Pull it out." He wanted to object but followed her instructions.
She leaned down and pecked your lips. "It's okay." She kissed you and just as you fell into a bliss you felt the pain of the rod being removed then numbed by Frost's cold hand but ultimately her kiss was what distracted you entirely.
"B.A. is occupied with Cisco so we're on our own." H.R. said and Frost nodded lifting you up while H.R. got the other side you groaned at the discomfort and stinging as they walked you back.
Cisco picked up on your vitals and breached to you then breached you to the lab where they laid you down as you began losing consciousness.
"Frost bring out Caitlin." Cisco said and she immediately did.
"Y/n!" Caitlin called as she immediately began working on prepping for surgery while the ice began to melt.
You were recovering from the wound thankful for how attentive both Snow and Frost was.
Frost was around more as she kept the room cool for you to sleep comfortably and Snow would front to check on you.
You made a full recovery only for Snow to scold you and Frost about pulling the rod out and kissing instead of rushing to the Lab but you silenced her with a kiss promising to do better next time which she replied with.
"There better not be a next time."
You realised it must've been traumatic for Caitlin to come back to find you on death's door. So you made a point of being safer for both Frost and Snow.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 5/6)
Killer Frost starts showing up:
You noticed the smaller things.
Her touch was colder than before but to your burning skin it was bliss. Having lightning in your veins wasn't as fun as some would think. It burned and thanks to Cisco you had a dampner in the watch he gave you to monitor your vitals. It was low grade and you could turn it on and off but it still seemed to help.
You saw how distant Caitlin was becoming and almost secretive. You tried talking to her and when she brushed you off you reassured her you were there for her. Then you left her to be not wanting to bug her or pressure her into talking to you.
You were getting more and more worried and it wasn't until you got home one night and the entire bathroom was frozen and Caitlin was on the floor crying that you finally pressured her to talk.
"Snow." You knelt down in front of her and she gasped pulling away. "Hey, it's okay it's just me." You gave her a reassuring smile.
"Go away." She sniffled hugging the towel closer but you didn't listen. You knelt down on the floor and picked her up bridal style. She wrapped her arms around your neck hiding her face in your neck as you carefully walked her to the bedroom and sitting on the bed with her between your legs.
She didn't let go of you, she pulled on your jacker almost hiding inside of it and you smiled sadly. You've never seen her this distraught. "Snow, talk to me please." You asked and she hid her face in your chest shaking her head before her body began to shake.
"Snowflake, I'm worried. Please talk to me so I can help you." You begged making her look at you as you brushed your thumb over the tears. "I'm scared." She whispered and you nodded understanding.
"Of what?" You asked softly. "Something is changing inside me and I don't know what it is. And I'm scared of what it is." You held her tightly as she cried into your chest. You didn't let her go or ease your grip as you wanted her to know that no matter what you would be there for her.
After she stopped crying you held her for a while longer be for talking again. "Hey." You cupped her cheek and lifted her chin making her look at you. "We're gonna figure this out okay? The two of us, together." You smiled at her knowing she recalled that day like you did. She pulled you into a hug once more that you happily returned.
You reluctantly agreed to not tell the others about Caitlin's transformation.
You kept an eye on her as much as possible which got harder with everything happening.
You constantly reassured her there was nothing she could do to change your mind. You assured her she wasn't evil and told her you didn't believe that she would become evil.
After meeting Earth-2 Killer Frost you were a bit shaken but the moment you had Caitlin back in your arms all fear was smothered.
She cried in your arms again after Cisco told her about her Earth-2 counterpart but you assured her she didn't have to follow her footsteps. She could be a hero if she wanted to. She had the heart of one after all.
You were called away to Star City for help and in your week there Caitlin spiraled and fell victim to her alter ego.
You got a call from Cisco who was rambling and going on about how sorry he was for not calling but Barry said he shouldn't because they had it handled. You first had to calm him down before getting the details from him.
"Felicity, I need to go." You stood up abruptly. "What's wrong?" The blonde asked turning to you. "It's Snow." You rushed to the elevator to get to S.T.A.R. Labs in record time.
Arriving you took off your jacket that was burning and stomping your feet to stop the sneakers from burning.
Seeing Barry on the medbay bed you walked over to him asking him what happened but he stayed silent. "Barry." You pressed and he sighed. "Caitlin turned into Killer Frost." You stared at him.
"No one thought to call me?"
"We thought we had it." Barry said and you scoffed. "This isn't some game Barry! That's my girlfriend." You snapped at him and he sighed.
"You know Barry I've really tried being nice because Snow asked me to be. You screwed up our lives because you went and fiddled with the bloody timeline! You were really selfiesh. I've tried not to blame you for everything but I was a normal person! I wasn't constantly burning up!" You felt your head swirling and Cisco stepped in putting a hand on your shoulder and you sighed looking at him seeing his teary eyes.
He too stood a chance at losing his best friend. You inhaled and exhaled glaring at Barry then walked out to go to your cooling chamber to cool down.
"I wanted to call." Cisco said and you looked at him from the pod. "I'm not mad at you." You said and he nodded sighing while sitting in the chair Caitlin always sat in.
"You know she told me she's scared because she'll have to leave soon." Cisco said and you frowned looking at him. "I was gone for one week." You sighed closing your eyes again.
"Wanna lay down?" Cisco asked noticing how fast your heart rate was. As he stood up to touch the button you saw him space out for a moment before pulling back and looking at you.
"What's going on?" You asked and he continued staring. "I had a vibe." You remembered he called to tell you about his hero name and everything.
"What did you see?" You asked seeing how his eyes teared up. "You get paralysed." You stared at him in shock. "There was someone else but I couldn't see who." He Shook his head and you sighed closing your eyes.
"Well that's not my main concern right now. I need to get to Snow... Or Frost." You mumbled.
You weren't properly recovered when you found Caitlin was after another Doctor Alchemy follower.
"Frost." You trapped her exit and she visibly wavered while the man who's house she broke into stared confused. "Get out of my way." She said but you didn't budge.
"Please stop. Talk to me." You asked and you could see how her body tensed. "I'm not gonna ask again." She raised her hands and you looked at her.
You saw Barry limping behind her and she turned around shooting ice at him. She quickly turned back to you but you didn't move still standing with you hands in eye sight.
"Don't make me hurt you." You were surprised that she was nicer to you. She was ruthless towards Barry and Cisco.
"Just knock her out!" The man called and you frowned. "Excuse me? You're a bad guy shut up." You pointed standing to the side to glare at the man. Frost then used your distraction to slip out.
"Hey wait!" You sped after her and she froze thr floor you tried to stop but the ice spread under your feet making you slip and fall. You kicked her feet under her causing her to fall next to you.
"I'm sorry Frost." You apologised and she got up straddling you grabbing your sides and before you could react she kisses you. You felt the cold spread from her lips and hands but it was mostly relieving against your burning skin.
It was second nature to kiss her back and you could swear you felt her waver for a moment before she was shot off you by Cisco. You wanted to reach out but your arm was slow.
"Vibrate to warm yourself up." Cisco said and you looked at him. "I don't know how." You felt your body starting to go into shock from the cold.
"You never learned how?" He asked now also panicked.
"Cisco don't hurt her." You felt your body start with convulsions.
"Don't hurt Snow o-or Frost." You blacked out from shock.
Cisco turned your cooling chamber into a heating chamber to help you defrost.
You didn't have the opportunity to talk to Frost while she was captive only waking up after Cisco woke you to go talk to Caitlin.
You opened the door and at first she teased you but you told her the only way to leave was to kill you. She tried but when you challenged her to do it she couldn't as you suspected Caitlin took control again dropping the ice dagger.
"Y/n!" Caitlin hugged you hiding her face in your neck feeling your body was cold. "Your body is cold." She noted and you nodded.
"Did I hurt you?" She panicked and you shook your head refusing to put that on her concious too. "No. You cooled me down thoroughly, for once. It's kinda nice." You said relieved that you didn't feel like burning up.
You felt her lips against your skin and for a second you wanted to pull away but the warmth spreading from her lips eased your nerves.
"I love you." Caitlin whispered against your skin making you smile and hug her closer. "I love you too."
You were the only one who didn't keep getting Caitlin back. You understood from Caitlin's many cries that it was someone else who was taking over.
You were the only one who could get through to get Frost to stand down.
When she came to say good-bye she pulled you A-side to talk to you.
"I'm gonna miss my Snowflake." You said and she smiled at you. "You're not gonna try and make me stay?" She asked and you laughed for the first time in what felt like months.
"I didn't try to stop Frost from killing people. I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to support you and help you in any way I can. And as much as it hurts I know letting you leave is maybe just what you need." You said and she smiled pulling you into a hug.
"You never call her Killer Frost." Caitlin nodded and you smiled. "Because I don't think she is. Neither are you. I just hope I get to know your other half once you get to know her more." You said and she smiled getting teary eyed.
"What did I ever do to deserve you?" Caitlin asked making you smile again. "I ask myself that every day." You winked making her giggle.
"I'll let you go on one condition." You gave her a soft smile and she nodded waiting for your condition. "Promise me you'll call me. I want to say good night and, or good morning every chance you'll let me. Or shoot me a text when you want." You said and she nodded.
"I love you." She pulled you into another hug and you happily returned it kissing her temple. "I love you too."
You took her hand and walked her to the car waiting for her taking off your bracelet that your brother gave you before he passed away.
"You never take it off." Caitlin said and you smiled kneeling on the ground next to her putting your hand on her leg while holding the bracelet out to her.
"I want you to have a piece of me with you." You said and she smiled holding her hand our for you to put the bracelet on.
"I'll bring it back. I promise." She assured and you smiled kissing the palm of her hand. "Don't rush your healing process on my behalf. We both know it doesn't happen overnight." You said and she nodded kissing your forehead making you smile.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 4/6)
Some more details about you two:
Caitlin noticed early on how hot your skin was on a constant. She understood you slept better in a cold room and fortunately she did too. You loved cuddling with her and she did too.
"I didn't expect you to be such a cuddle bunny." Caitlin said making you blush as you looked at the ceiling. "Well your initial thoughts were correct. I was never the touchy type but I can't stop wanting to hold you close." Caitlin noticed early on how protective you were of her and she loved it.
You were always there for her and even risked using your powers for her more than once.
You sped at the criminal turning and bumping your shoulder into his back causing Snart to fly back and fall unconscious.
"Snow." You rushed over to her untying her and hugging her. Her fingers dug into your suit as she held you tightly and you helped her up.
"Hey!" Mick called and you gasped picking Caitlin up and speeding out of the warehouse not nearly as fast as Barry but fast enough to not get caught in fire.
You stopped right inside S.T.A.R. Labs doors putting Caitlin on her feet before kneeling down groaning at the burning sensation in your body.
You went to grab your chest but Caitlin stopped you holding your wrist. "Let's get you to the cooling chamber." She helped you to the pod the designed to cool your burning nervous system down.
Once in the pod Caitlin attached the neccessary wires to monitor you again. "You okay?" You finally asked after some relief from the pain. "What were you thinking?" Caitlin finally asked and you sighed.
"I was thinking let me save Snow before she becomes toast or a poptart." You said and she scoffed. "Why would you risk it?" She asked and you looked at her frowning.
"Why wouldn't I?" You asked softly barely audible but she heard you. She stood staring at you and you sighed giving her a further answer.
"Snow, I would risk it all for you. I care about you and I want you to always be safe and happy. So be mad at me for caring that's fine but don't expect me to ever stop caring for you—" You were cut off by her lips which surprised you as you didn't hear the pod opening but you quickly melted into the kiss.
Her cold hands cupping your cheeks as you pulled her closer by the labcoat sliding one hand into her neck tilting your head to deepen the kiss.
You both pulled away for air and as she stared at you Cisco walked in. "You doing okay?" He asked but was looking at his tablet. "I'm okay. Thanks Cisco." You smiled at him and he nodded.
"I added another feature to your pod. It can double as a bed now." He pressed a button and the pod starting tipping back slightly which made you panic a bit but you relaxed when it stopped. "I'm a genius." He walked out of the room again.
"Why do you only call me by my last name?" Caitlin asked as she sat down on the chair next to your pod. "Because." You shrugged and she raised a brow.
"That's not an answer."
"You're special Snow. That's why."
"Is that all?" She asked and you shrugged again. "And maybe because I want to make it mine." You saw her fall silent but smile at you making you blush.
"You want to marry me?" She asked in disbelief. "Right now if I could." You nodded and she smiled with a slight blush.
"Shh and get your rest. We'll talk when we get back home."
Caitlin knew you were insecure about your scars but she made sure you knew she didn't mind them.
Laying on the bed you were reading a message Cisco sent you about a math problem he was having. You quickly did some speed research and sent him a few variables to try out. He thanked you and before you could put the phone down you felt soft lips on your skin.
Putting down your phone you turned to Caitlin. You closed your eyes as her fingers traces the scars on your body while she placed kisses after her fingers traces.
"Why do you always kiss my scars?" You asked and she stopped then moved to place a kiss on your lips. "Because I love you and your scars." You saw her biting her lip nervous about your response.
You cupped her cheek before tugging at her lip making her release her lip from her teeth. You leaned up and kissed her smiling into the kiss you whispered. "I love you too."
You got up and straddled her, your hands roaming over her body as you observed every inch of her skin. Leaning down you captured her lips between yours kissing her deeply feeling her arms wrap around your neck as she deepened the kiss.
Caitlin is the only one who knows about your brother.
She found you crying in the kitchen. She worried that you got hurt and quickly rushed over. "What's wrong?" She asked and you only tipped your body to the side laying your head on her chest crying harder.
"Is it your chest?" She asked, also being the only one who knew about your phantom pain in your chest. You shook your head.
"Are you heating up?" She asked putting her hand under your shirt on your back. "No." You cried out and she nodded moving to lean against the wall as she held you like you've held her before.
She waited patiently for you to speak up.
"Todays my brother's birthday and I can't go to him." You said and she frowned. "Why not?" She wanted to ask why she didn't know about your brother but she could sense it was a sensitive matter so she didn't ask.
"My power damping watch got hurt and Cisco is fixing it. I'm afraid something goes wrong while I visit him." She nodded listening to you. "Would it help if I went with you?" She asked and you stayed silent.
"I'd appreciate it."
She was shocked to find out you were heading to the hospital.
She watched you greet everyone like you've been going there for years.
She watched you sit next to your identical twin and she made sure to hold you hand and keep caressing your knuckles to keep you grounded.
She watched as your brother gave you a bracelet he made in his arts and crafts therapy time.
"I'm sorry I didn't make you one. My sister didn't tell me she'd be bringing someone." Even as he spoke she could hear how tired he sounded. "Meeting you is an even better gift." Caitlin assured making him smile.
Caitlin was there for every visit and she was there when you had your final visit too.
She was the one who held your brother's other hand as he was scared of dying.
"You wouldn't mind saving a seat for me would you?" Caitlin asked your brother who looked at her and smiled weakly. "I'll save you both a seat." He assured making you smile but feel your heart break.
Caitlin was good at keeping him calm. Telling him stories about your heroic deeds as you sat on the verge of tears talking few and far between.
Caitlin was the one who held you as you cried into your brother's arms after he passed on.
She was the one who helped you get over his death. She was the one who helped you put the pieces back together.
She didn't miss a day of visiting his grave.
"Ready babe?" She asked seeing you sitting on the sofa staring at the window. You silently stood up and went with her.
She drove you to and from the graveyard.
"Hey buddy." She always started talking first never letting go of your hand.
She would help you tell him stories of your weeks events.
"I'll see you next time again."
She wouldn't leave until you had the last say.
She watched you heal and celebrated your progress. Happy with your progress no matter how slow it was.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 3/6)
Understanding:
The next few months after waking up was spent on tests and you were begining to grow tired of it but endured it as you got closer to Caitlin.
You found out that you had superspeed like Barry but not nearly as safe or affective as his. Your speed scarred your body and you tried hiding it from Caitlin. Your speed seemed to be more of a mental thing anyways.
You couldn't run hundreds of miles in a second and you couldn't run on water but you could finish the Harry Potter saga in less than an hour and you could beat Cisco and Caitlin at math and medical quizzes after speed reading through manuals or websites.
"Your endurance is still very impressive." Doctor Wells said as you stepped off the treadmill after two hours barely a sweat broken. "I think I'm ready for the math problem you gave me." You said looking at Wells who nodded gesturing at the board that had a math problem on it.
Standing in front of the board you heard him approach while Caitlin, Barry and Cisco approached and suddenly you felt self-conscious and nervous. You hated crowds and because of your shy and anxious nature it didn't help being stared at either.
You again felt the clear thoughts slip into mayhem while your hands began to shake. "Y/n." You felt Caitlin's hand in your arm and you looked at her seeing her lips move but nothing registered. "What?" You frowned at her.
"I asked if you're okay?" You looked at her still frowning and she put a hand in your chest where your heart hammered against your ribcage. "Your vitals are spiking." Cisco informed and you sighed taking a deep breath. They had you wear a watch that monitored your vitals at all times as they were concerned for the odd ways the speed was affecting your body.
"This happens whenever you're placed under pressure." Wells noted and you sighed feeling ashamed. "I got it." Caitlin led you into the medbay making you sit on the bed again closing the door behind her.
You seemed to be spending most of your time with Caitlin checking up on you, standing in front of you with that slight frown as she focused on making sure she was thorough.
"Your arm." Caitlin gasped and you looked seeing your sleeve had pulled up. "It's nothing." You tried pulling your sleeve down but she gently slapped your hand away.
"Shirt off. Now." She narrowed her eyes on you. "Take me on a date first won't you Snow?" You tried redirecting the attention but it was futile as she glared until you obliged.
Taking off your shirt you heard her gasp and you felt your skin heat up more as you felt her eyes glued to your body. "How did I not see this?" She asked and when her hand touched your cold skin you sighed at the relief her cold hands brought to your heating skin.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked scolding you and you looked at her for a second before looking down again.
"You agreed to be open and honest." The pointed and you scoffed. "Well I'm sorry Caitlin. I have a hard time doing that seeing as I spent most of my time repressing things. I'm not good at asking help, I've told you this before."
You stood up but you tipped over until Caitlin grabbed you holding you up. You reluctantly held onto her but couldn't get your mind off how relieving her cold hands felt against your constant burning flesh.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you." She apologised and you nodded. "I'm sorry for not telling you. I just felt... ashamed." You admitted softly.
"What? Why?" She asked and you sighed sitting down again. "Barry has these amazing powers and everything with his powers seems to be fine. It's like he was blessed with speed and I was cursed with speed." You frowned cursing the universe for setting you up to fail.
"Hey." Caitlin lifted your chin making you look at her. "We're gonna figure this out okay? The two of us, together." You smiled at her blushing when she pulled you into a hug that you happily returned.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 2/6)
Meeting:
Unlike with Barry only Caitlin was around when you woke up and you were absolutely mesmerised by her.
You gasped after waking up looking around hand flying to your chest as you felt a phantom pain in your chest. You felt your hand against your bare skin feeling a slight jolt making you look down panicked.
You couldn't remember what happened but it was like your mind was repeating the pain your chest felt before you blacked out. You sat up fingers digging into your skin as you scratched your skin that felt like it was itching beneath.
"Hey." You looked to your left and saw a beautiful brunette in a labcoat with heels entering the room. Your hand stilled as you watched her rush over to you then stand inbetween your legs grabbing your face inspecting you.
"Whoa. Mind introducing yourself before touching me?" You asked gently grabbing her wrist and she blushed looking at you. "I'm Doctor Caitlin Snow." She gave you a smile that made your heart race and that's when you noticed the heart rate machine attached to your body making you blush.
"I'm Y/n." You spoke softly and she nodded. "May I finish my examination?" She asked and you nodded letting go of her wrist and that's when she saw how red your chest was.
"Did you scratch?" She asked leaning closer to look at your skin and you gulped. "My chest hurts." You admitted and she hummed.
"Like a phantom pain." You shrugged and she looked back at you. "It was where the lighting struck you." Your mouth fell open as you stared at her.
"Excuse me?"
"It's where the lightning struck you."
"Lightning?"
"Yes."
"Holy crap." You stared off into the distance behind her then saw the glass with the S.T.A.R. Labs sign. "The last thing I remember is Barry going on about the S.T.A.R. Labs—" You fell silent as flashes of Barry getting struck with lightning filled your mind.
"Wait where's Barry?" You shot out of the bed making the monitor race. You felt your head swirling and thoughts blurring. "Doc." You went to grab the bed before tipping but you weren't even in the medbay anymore.
Now on your knees and looking down you felt your skin tingling where the plasters ripped off. "Doc, I don't feel so good." You were about to tip when Caitlin grabbed your shoulders immediately grounding you.
"Hey." She tapped your cheek and you blinked hard forcing yourself to focus on her. You felt your thoughts slowing down as nothing but the woman in front of you filled your mind. You let out a shaky breath.
"Barry is okay. He's doing very well. I'm more worried about you." She spoke while wrapping her arm around your waist before lifting you to your feet. You groaned at the pain in your chest.
"When will this pain in my chest go away?" You groaned as she helped you back to the medbay bed. "I'm unsure."
"Wait why are you worried about me?" You asked and she sighed after helping you sit down again. "Because Barry has healed and gained powers." She began but fell silent when a whirring sound of a machine filled the room.
"Ah Miss L/n, so nice of you to finally join the living." You looked at the man in a wheelchair. "Doctor Wells?" You stared at the man who nodded slightly.
"Wait how long was I out?" You frowned looking between the two scientists. "About 10 months." You felt your heart sink.
"My job." You panicked feeling your chest tighten and hands begin to shake. Your mind raced a millions miles again as everything seemed to slow down and drown out around you.
You gripped your chest bruising the already red skin until Caitlin grabbed your hands. "Y/n, it's okay. Focus on me." She didn't have to repeat herself, you immediately focused on her and again it all seemed to slow down.
"What's happening to me?" You asked voice slightly panicked. "I believe you too, have superspeed." Wells said and you raised a brow at him.
"Superspeed?" You looked back at Caitlin who nodded. "How else do you explain reappearing at the other end of the room within a second?" She gestured and you looked back at the man.
"How did this happen?" You looked at him and he sighed before explaining everything. You felt so overwhelmed. This man, paralysed, sitting in front of you inadvertently put you in a coma for 10 months. He cursed you with this problem. You stood up despite Caitlin's protest and soon found yourself in a testing lab looking place with a treadmill.
You heard her heels clicking long before you heard her gentle voice calling your name unbeknownst that she had your attention even before. "Y/n?" Caitlin sat down next to you on the treadmill.
"Sorry for storming off doc. It's just... Ten months... Gone." You sighed not even looking at her. "The night the Particle Accelerator went off. My fiance died saving everyone in the building. All of us lost something." She almost whispered and you looked at her seeing her tears you sighed.
"I'm sorry." You put a hand on her knee and to your surprise she grabbed your hand holding it tightly. Her grip made you think no one had hugged her in all those ten months which saddened you.
"Doc." You inhaled deeply groaning as an uncomfortable pain shot through your chest. "Yeah?" She looked at you.
"Is this permanent?" You asked softly. "For now." She nodded and you sighed placing a hand over your chest. You heard her soft gasp making you look over at her to see her staring at your back.
"What is it?" You asked trying to look only then noticing you were still shirtless except for the wrapping around your chest covering your chest. "You have a scar in your neck." She reached out and touched it and you watched her in the corner of your eye.
"I never saw it before." She admitted and you shrugged. "Must've been the lightning." You said and she frowned but agreed.
"Would you be okay with it if we ran a few tests to try and better understand what it is you're going through?" She asked and you looked at her before giving a slight nod. "Couldn't hurt to know more, right?" You gave a forced chuckle which she gave a small smile.

CW DC THE FLASH - CAITLIN SNOW / KILLER FROST. (PART 1/6)
Introduction:
You were introduced after flashpoint.
You stood in front of Caitlin staring at her. "I do not do that." You defended but she just giggled. "Babe, you take cold showers and ice baths it's okay." She looked at you and you sighed with a slight shrug.
"I prefer the cold." You admitted softly and she hummed before giving you a kiss smiling into the kiss forcing you to part.
Caitlin knew your body was always heating up and you needed the cold shower and baths to cool down. You skin was very sensitive which made it hard for Cisco to make a suit but he found the perfect material even being as nice as to create a weeks worth of clothing for you to wear.
"Oh which reminds me I already got your clothes to the dry cleaner." Caitlin assured making you grin at her. "You spoil me doc. You're gonna have to let me make it up to you." You said and she shrugged with a bashful smile.
"We're watching any of your favourite musicals while cuddling on the couch. But first I'm taking you somewhere special." You said and she nodded smiling brightly.
"What are you doing here?" Barry asked confused making you turn slightly to look at him. "What do you mean?" Caitlin asked looked between you and Barry, her smile fading.
"You're not on the team." The speedster frowned. "Barry!" Caitlin scolded him knowing you were sensitive regarding the team. You always spoke ill of yourself and your abilities and she despised it.
"I've been on the team since the start. Why are you treating me like an outsider?" You asked turning to face Barry completely. "No you weren't." Barry shook his head and before Caitlin could scold him he continued.
"You work at the clinic Caitlin always goes to get her supplies." Barry was confused by your involvement in the team now. "No. I'm CSI. With you at the CCPD. Barry we share a lab for crying out loud." You shook your head at him.
"I though you said you weren't fighting anymore." Caitlin said standing up from the chair standing next to you. "We weren't. I don't understand what's the problem. Barry man we talked it out, you said we were good." You gestured at the other speedster.
"We never spoke." The man shook his head. "What?" Caitlin looked at you and you sighed.
"Cait, I spoke to him. I swear." You didn't understand why he was lying. "Barry?" Caitlin looked at the speedster who was pacing the cortex.
"I don't understand what's going on. The only time I ever spoke to you was when I went to get supplies for Caitlin." He left the room in a flash leaving you and Caitlin behind confused.
"What's going on?" Caitlin asked and you shrugged stumped. "I don't know babe, he's acting weirder than usual." You looked down letting out a sigh.
"It's just who Barry is." Cait sat down again before pulling you closer and you smiled at her wrapping your arms around her neck standing between her legs while she held your waist.

I might make a tiny series of this.

DC ONE SHOT
AUTHOR NOTE:
Pair: Diana Prince × Reader / Wonder Woman × Reader
Category: not really that much angst. fluff. Happy ending.
~~~~~
You were out with coffee with the one and only Lois Lane. You grew up with her boyfriend, Clark Kent that you knew was Kryptonian thanks to your adoptive sister Kara Zor-El.
Just for Clark you tried to bond with Lois and seeing as you were both free you couldn't decline when she asked to join her for coffee. You at first had no interest but Clark asked you nicely so you did try to at least befriend her.
You looked up at the plants overthrowing the cars. Villians that usually stayed in Central City, Star City or even Gotham decided to make an appearance in Metropolis today.
It was chaos everywhere.
Your eyes darted across the chaotic scene almost not hearing your phone ringing. You quickly answered the phone barely looking who it was.
Diana: Hey dear, I am afraid I'll be late for date night.
Y/n: I think me too.
Diana: Where are you?
Y/n: I went to get lunch with Lane at our cafe.
Diana: Be careful, okay?
Y/n: I'll try. Diana, please tell me you're safe. Poison Ivy and a bunch of out of town bad guys are six blocks from our cafe.
Diana: I'll be fine. Promise me you'll get to safety. Just stay out of their way-
"Y/n come on!" Lois called making you groan.
Y/n: Diana I'm with Lane right now. I can't promise you anything.
Diana: Get to safety. Please my love.
"Lex is here too!" Lois ran out of the cafe making you groan. "Lane stop!" You grabbed onto her shirt pulling her back into the cafe.
"Luthor has been gone for a year this is the biggest scoop of the year." Lois insisted and you scoffed.
Diana: These are major league villians there, promise me you'll be safe.
Y/n: Only if you promise to be safe too. When you can find me at the Kents farm.
Diana: I promise.
"He's moving!" Lois took off and pulled you along causing your arm the was in the air holding your phone to your ear to get caught in the doors making you yelp in pain. "Lane!" You looked at your dropped phone picking it up stuffing it in your pocket taking off after the crazy woman.
"You're crazy!" You called rushing after her diving and saving her from a flying chair. She quickly got up but you struggled with your sure to be bruising arm.
"Here take the camera." You groaned when she shoved it into your chest but did as told not even asking where she got the video camera from.
"This is Lois Lane reporting live from Metropolis, famed Lex Luthor has made an appearance after a year of silence..." You didn't listen to the woman as she ranted on and on.
You wanted to ask why she kept a camera around that could live stream at any time but decided against it. Simply deciding to keep an eye out noticing all the villains that were now making an appearance.
"Captain Cold? Isn't Star City far from here?" You asked mostly to yourself. Suddenly you noticed the vines that broke through the concrete stretching closer and closer to you.
"Lane!" You threw the camera down on the hood of a car and jumped forward pushing her back only to get smacked by a vine that sent you through the store window that you window shopped in earlier.
"Y/n!" Lois rushed over to you and you groaned right now wishing you had your cousins powers of invulnerability.
"I'm sorry I didn't see the vine." She apologised being careful as she knelt on the glass next to you. You knew she would never put you in danger on purpose, she even kept distance from the scene when you were around but the villians didn't have the same ideas. "You owe me a god damn ice cream, Lane." You somehow always got hurt when she was around and always forgave her after getting ice cream.
You could hear the ground crumbling and it grew louder again making you groan. "Get up, Danvers." Lois pulled your arm and you grumbled pressing your hand on the glass hissing as it cut your skin. You just managed to stand when a car got lodged through the same window you went through making you fall again.
You could hear the fighting outside but now you couldn't see who it was and your blurred vision didn't help either. You laid your head still keeping your eyes on the roof trying to say awake but the spinning was overwhelming.
"Lane!" You called panicked. "I'm right here." She quickly said. All you could think about was wether or not Diana was okay.
"Take me to the Kents farm." You didn't even have the strength to wait for a reply, shock and distress had clouded your mind and taken over.
***TWO HOURS LATER***
You woke up in your 'second' childhood bedroom causing panic to subside until you gasped. "Diana!" You grabbed the sheets to throw it off only then did you notice how dizzy you still were.
"Y/n?" Your bedroom door flung open and you heard footsteps of heavy boots until the door clicked shut. You grabbed onto the bed leaning into it as you tried to walk but struggled.
"My love." You recognised her voice anywhere. "Diana." You said relieved as you squinted to see her but failed miserably.
"I'm here. Let me help you." You felt warm gentle hands on your cheeks immediately making you close your eyes and lean into her touch ignoring your own hissing of pain.
"Why didn't you let the medics help?" You opened your eyes and saw Diana wearing a familiar looking tiara making you frown. "I just wanted you. Wait when did you begin wearing tiaras?" You reached up only for her to grab your wrist with a soft gasp.
"You have glass stuck in your skin!" She scolded and you hummed remembering the pieces piercing your skin.
"Here." She carefully picked you up and when your body pressed against hers you noticed the hard clothing that made you frown.
You looked down seeing body armor but still your mind was too fuzzy to connect the dots or place the outfit. So you let your mind get hung up on it as you patiently tried to figure it out.
Diana began removing the glass pieces and you looked at her blury figure as she took out the glass using the right equipment. You grabbed onto her wrist by the third glass piece she pulled out wanting her to stop but she didn't.
"I'm almost done love." She assured but you didn't let go of het wrist in too much pain.
"You're doing good." She smiled softly as another string of reassuring whispers filled the silence while Diana pulled the glass out and sterilised the wounds and cuts gently blowing on the injured skin to ease the stinging sensation that caused the pain.
She pulled your shirt off to wrap your arm that was, as you suspected, bruised. But she worried there was more so she finished up with your arm to further her inspection.
She then did a quick inspection for any other wounds on your body but was both happy and relieved to find none. She didn't bother putting your shirt back on, yet.
"All done." Her warm hands rested in your neck and jaw making you smile and hold her hands. You stared at her in silence until something inside you called out a familiar name.
"Wait a minute..." Realisation struck you as your finally recognised her outfit. "Diana?" You looked at her squinting trying to focus entirely on her.
"You're Wonder Woman?" You asked and she stayed silent sighing softly.
"I didn't want you to find out like this but I came here immediately after the fight. Kal said you kept asking for me and I got worried and the armour slipped my mind-" You gave her lips a sloppy misplaced kiss but still it made her stop. "It's okay." You chuckled leaning forward resting your forehead against hers feeling the cold metal against your skin.
"You're not mad?" Diana wondered knowing how much you despised secrets. "No, a lot kind of makes sense now." You chukled to yourself seeing the now painfully obvious signs.
"I'm dating Wonder Woman." You gave a lazy smile making the other woman giggle. "I won the game." You grinned off into the distance making her smile wider.
"I'm not gonna lie Diana, I'm very attracted by the fact that you're Wonder Woman and embarassed that I've fangirled about you to your face." You said honestly only getting a passionate kiss in return.
"I'm not gonna lie either, I liked it." Diana whispered in your ear making you blush even more.
HARLIVY'S CHILD
Grow up absolutely loved and cherished.
You always had space to be yourself and be confident in your ways.
Reluctantly on your part joined the Batbrats but they treat you like family.
Alfred helping you stitch up after a mission since your moms are at home binging the pottery wars or something.
"Uncle A, I got shot again." "Sit down child."
"Don't worry he looks much worse than me." "I don't doubt it."
"What will my moms say?" "They'll go on a bounty huny if not already on one." "Right, Ma talks with plants like me." "Hmm."
Bruce secretly adores your.
"Hey uncle B." "Can I help you?"
Dick sees you as an annoying little sister. "Hey Mr Glutes." "It's weird because your moms also call me that." "Suck it up."
Batgirl is like your big sister that Harlivy easily get annoyed with. But let's it slide cuz she's a good influence on you.
"BG, how you been?" "Hey you! How's training going?"
Damien is confused but not repulsed by your company.
"Batbrat stop with acting like you're a sweet potato pie." "I don't have to act. I just am."
Best schools attended. Genius child. Duh look at your moms.
Gymnastic training. Variety of martial arts training. How to connect with the green training.
Gardening with Ivy and anti-heroing with Harley.
You're 70% Anti-hero.
The other 30% dislikes humans.
Missions goes something like this...
Nightwing: "Give it up Riddler we solved the puzzle."
Riddler: "No. You cheated."
Y/n: "Uncle R, why don't you come in peacefully and I'll show you the unsolvable puzzle book collection I got for my birthday?"
Riddler: "Unsolvable?"
Y/n: "So I've been told."
Riddler: "Fine, lemme see it."
Most of the Rogues are actually just like your aunts and uncles. They're your family but you have no problem with kicking their asses if need be.
"Aunty L, you coming for dinner?" "I should be out by Friday kid." "See you then."
You, weirdly enough, get spoiled by Joker much to Ivy and Harley's dismay.
"Hey J, I got your present and I like it. Thanks." "Anytime."
No one knows why he cares but people suspect it was his wife's doing.
Harley and Ivy can be hard on you wanting you to be your best version of yourself. But you still have many rants with them knowing they won't judge and feeling comfortable with them.
You tend to seek comfort from Ivy but when you need a cry you'll go to Harley she's much better at comforting you.
Ivy doesn't do good with tears, but atleast she's learned hugging works so if you start crying she just hugs you letting you cry into her shoulder.
May the gods have mercy on whoever hurts you because your moms sure as hell won't.
You got 2 cats from Selina who's like your cool wine aunt.
The others are confused at how much Selina adores you but your moms love it.
"I'll name them Bruce Jnr and Selina Jnr." "Just like your mom, you suck at naming animals." "You named your cat Isis, Aunty Sel, you can't judge."
Kingshark is your favourite uncle/babysitter.
"And to hack the govermen is easy." He teaches you how to hack like a pro.
Shark hugs all around.
Clayface would always morph into you and you'd be fascinated by the sudden appearance of a twin.
Clayface loves taking you on shopping sprees even if you don't like it as much you enjoy seeing him try on outfits and rant about what characters it fitted. You loved letting and watching him delve onto his creative mind. Often asking more about the characters letting Clayface get lost in his world of imagination.
The Justice League has recruited you but you didn't like being associated with them but always help out when they need it. You're on their 'Phone In Case Of Emergency' list.
Bane is your favourite uncle.
"Big B, are we going to the dog show next month?" "You bet we are!"
Sometimes you take him to the spa for a day to just relax or go to the gym with him to blow off some steam.
Beware any creeps that stare at you for too long. "Bane sees you staring at my gym partner!" He doesn't care if everyone hears and looks over.
Lex has tried recruiting you for The Legion Of Doom but Ivy made it clear just how she disapproved of his choices. Harley made sure to also give him a piece of her mind.
You live a free and wild life but you have protection around every corner on every side. The Batfamily. The Rogeus. All your family.
PAIR: WONDER WOMAN × fem READER / DIANA PRINCE × fem READER
UNIVERSE: DC (Detective Comics)
~~~~~
You had been in Bruce's life for many years now and you deemed the Bat family as your own. Alfred adored how you looked out for the family too even if you weren't out fighting Gotham's maddest.
It's by becoming a hero alongside Batman and his family that you had met the best people in your life. Friends and even best friends all thanks to choosing to take a stand on one fateful day.
"Y/n?" Looking up from the swirling liquid in your mug you gave Barbara your full attention. "Hey, Babs." You gave her a soft smile watching her eyes stay focused on you.
"Dick failed to mention that he was having a movie night at the tower." You raised a brow at her words not understanding what the problem was. The Titan Tower was your home, yes but you didn't even kick unwanted visitors to the curb. You've let an injured Poison Ivy sleep on your bed behind a locked door while you kept watch but the point was you knew as much as a say as you had at the tower, surely Barbara knew you wouldn't object.
"Stop thinking." Babs held her hand up cutting off your train of thoughts. "I can hear the gears in your mind whirring." She teased giving a toothy grin.
"Ha ha. Why are you telling me this?" You asked gesturing at her and she sighed, sipping from her cup before putting it down again. "Some of the younger heroes have successfully got their mentors to agree on joining the movie night. They claimed it a cause for celebration after stopping our planet's most recent invasion." Babs informed and you stayed silent staring at her and only when you realised what she meant by mentors did your body tense for a split second.
"Diana will be there." You said and she nodded.
"Then I guess I'll have to face the music." You said and you could see the surprise on Barbara's face. "That's very mature of you."
She was honest, you had a knack for avoiding any situation that could lead to disaster and even Dick has spoken to you about it. That's when you realised how bad it was because Dick is the King of avoiding problems.
"Of course." You put your mug down and stood up ready to run but Barbara tackled you to the floor pinning your arms behind your back like you did with criminals.
"Strange being on this side of things for once." You chuckled hoping to throw her off but you knew Batgirl wasn't that easily thwarted. "Seems fitting," Barbara muttered.
"Get off me!" You tried throwing her off but she simply tightened her thighs on your torso making you grumble.
"Alfred!" You called and to your surprise, he walked into the room looked at you then Barbara then left. "Wow." You sighed defeated, knowing there wasn't an escape now.
"You need to face Diana and you are going to talk about your pre-apocalyptic kiss." She demanded and you grumbled laying your head flat on the floor. "I don't need to." You replied earning a scoff.
"Do you want me to remind you of your sleep-deprived confession you made a week ago?" Babs asked and you grumbled in response. "You need to and you will talk to Diana." Babs pushed and you sighed scrambling for excuses and ways to avoid it altogether.
"Only if Diana wishes to." You gave in and she hummed satisfied which didn't ease your nerves one bit. Babs had something up her sleeve or she wouldn't have agreed so easily.
"Who's the best Bat?" Barbara asked pulling your arm more making you groan at the discomfort. "Batgirl." You tapped the floor and she let go simply because of your answer.
"Let's get to the Tower to help prepare," Babs said and you waited patiently for her to get off you before you stood up and looked at her seeing her limp back to the table. "You aren't wearing your back brace." You frowned at the woman who sighed.
"I'm not fighting today, I don't need to." You gave your best friend a disapproving glare and she scoffed. "I will call Kara and get her to make you wear that brace." You noticed her eyebrows twitch making you smirk.
"Oh yes, I played the Kara card." You crossed your arms over your chest.
"What's the Kara card?" You gasped hearing your best friend's voice.
"Kara!" You ran to the Kryptonian and threw your arms around her hugging her tightly as she hugged back.
"It's nothing," Babs said and you could immediately sense the shift in the room. You knew the two had something going on, because you had eyes and they were both your best friends.
"Kara, can you hear velcro as Babs moves?" You asked and you noticed Kara focus as Barbara stood still. "Babs, you know the brace is important." The blonde spoke gently as she always did with Barbara.
"I know too, I'll go fetch it." You said walking out of the living room to give them privacy, you had a feeling that the two were on much better terms after everything that happened. Dick did say Babs wouldn't shut up about Kara on their last stakeout and it made you equally giddy and worried. You had a feeling your friendship was what was keeping those two apart and it tore you up because that was you and Diana.
Wonder Woman has always been someone you adored and you were most excited about meeting her and Black Canary. You were surprised by how gentle Wonder Woman actually was, firm and strong in her words and belief but oh so gentle and loving in everything else. It wasn't long before you caught yourself staring at the Amazon or making excuses to spend time with her.
Not much did change between you until you were sent on a covert mission in Paris. Batman "failed" to mention the league was unaware and so he had to please and explain to a fuming Amazon why you had snuck into her house and passed out and bled on her floor.
*flashback*
Batman had ordered radio silence this morning and his intel had failed you causing you to walk in on an ambush all alone. You weren't expecting it as he promised recon only but as you stumbled out the back door retreating from the scene you muttered a string of Kryptonian curses.
Kara would be laughing and Clark would be displeased. You shook your head at the thought of him scolding you and your best friend.
It was two minutes past nine at night and you were amazed by how beautiful Paris looked even through your blood-blurred vision. As you took a step it felt like the floor shifted and you tipped over bumping into a railing making you groan.
"Broken ribs. I owe Jason ten bucks." You sighed looking up at the roof reaching your hand up aiming your grabbing hook.
"This way!" You looked behind you and saw the blood trail making you sigh as you bit onto your cape before pulling the trigger shooting the hook on the roof then got yanked up making you groan in pain.
Falling onto the roof you scoffed rolling onto your back you looked up at the sky and seeing the midnight blue sky with sparkling stars your mind drifted to it's most frequent visitor, Diana Prince. Her blue eyes were striking and mesmerising.
Sitting up when you heard the fire escape ladder clang you knew the goons would find you so you got up staying crouched as you ran towards the other building sprinting and jumping off the rooftops using your cape to glide away from the goons.
After a few minutes of gliding, you felt your arms caving causing you to lose balance and plummet down. Letting go of your cape you steadied yourself and as you land you immediately rolled to break the impact and as you came to a stop you groaned coughing up some blood making you sigh and lean your head against the wall.
The only person you knew close enough was Diana but you didn't want to drop in unannounced and disturb her already busy schedule. Especially not in your condition, you weren't sure you'd even be able to tell her what happened, strength slipping through your fingers like your blood did.
Looking up at the sky hidden in the alley shadow you silently hoped for a sign or affirmation that Diana was a good idea.
"She loves the Wonder Woman shirt, thank you so much for the suggestion." A man passing by spoke.
You knew her as Diana but she is also Wonder Woman, guardian to the people. You scolded yourself for doubting that she would allow you in her home and offer all her help.
Pulling out your GPS you searched for Diana and by the universe's grace, you were only three blocks away so you continued through the alleys where people couldn't see you bleeding out and limping.
Reaching her home you sighed seeing the balcony, you wanted to shoot the grappling hook but your hands were too bloody and you wouldn't be able to hold onto the gun. Aiming you knocked the ladder down then jumped and pulled it down groaning at the pain it caused.
Climbing up the ladder you got onto the first balcony quickly noticing the lack of ladders making you sigh and pull out your grappling hook. Taking off your glove you bit onto it ignoring the metallic and dusty taste on your tongue you used your clean hand to hold onto the gun as you aimed for the balcony and shot the hook letting the gun pull you along and much to your dismay slam you against the railing making you cry out in pain before falling into her balcony.
Laying on your back you coughed on more blood and you could feel the panic begin creeping into your veins. Rolling onto your side groaning into the glove you picked her lock and fell through the door spitting out the glove struggling to move more. The dark room went unnoticed thanks to your blurred vision.
"Diana!" You used your last strength to call out to the woman but you couldn't wait much longer and only when you heard keys jingling did you feel your heart racing again.
" I'll call Clark tomorrow, thank you." You couldn't make out what you heard.
" Good night Kara." You felt yourself begin to slip further into unconsciousness.
"Who is there?" You heard her sweet voice thick with authority but you couldn't respond as you laid numb.
"Y/n!" You felt warm hands on your cheek and waist as you felt yourself being turned and you let yourself be guided by her. It didn't dawn on you until this moment how much you trusted the woman who knelt next to you.
"What— Where is..." You couldn't hear her and you couldn't see the worried look on her face. You felt yourself being lifted and the last thing you remember was how comfortably your head rested in her neck as she flew upstairs.
But Diana remembers everything.
How her heart sank seeing you on her floor bleeding out. How her heart raced when you went numb in her arms. How sweaty her hands were as she pulled off your suit.
"Don't leave me," Diana whispered brows furrowed as she got a wet cloth and bandages, everything needed to help you. And only after she had cleaned your wounds and stitched up your wounds did she wrap your torso.
She sat on the bed holding your hand listening to your heartbeat trying to drown her worst thoughts and only once she felt calm enough by your resting body and steady heartbeat, only then did she call Supergirl who she had seen earlier that day for coffee.
The Kryptonian was fuming and quick to scan for internal bleeding or injuries but it was only broken ribs that had both sigh relieved it wasn't worse.
And when Kara offered to watch over you Diana immediately called Bruce to inform him about your state. She found out you were sent alone and she snapped at Bruce telling him she despised how he exploited children and that he let you into danger in her anger she had hurt the man's feelings but he took in all of her words.
*end flashback*
"Nice work!" You called looking at the team of younger heroes smiling when you saw Kory floating behind Rachel, arm around her shoulders as the half-demon focused on her book reading while levitating.
"They're cute." You whispered to Dick who nodded in agreement. "I'm still struggling to wrap my head around it." He spoke honestly and you giggled.
"I told you we'd be early." You heard Zatanna and Artemis making you smile seeing them walk in with Conner and M'gann.
"It's so good to see everyone without the world ending." M'gann cheered as she pulled you into a hug and you chuckled but nodded in agreement. "These are much better conditions," Artemis said and you laughed but agreed wholeheartedly.
"Come on Dinah we're early relax." You looked up to see Oliver and Dinah. "If it isn't my favourite duo." You smiled at the two.
"We're the first leaguers here." Dinah raised a brow. "I'm afraid not," Clark said making Oliver groan and Dinah roll her eyes.
"So what are we watching?" Hal called and you raised a brow at his utter excitement for a movie as you knew from Tower movie nights that picking a movie everyone liked proved difficult. "Hal!" Clark went to greet the Lantern.
"I don't think we'll be watching a movie tonight." Rachel said with her usual monotonous voice. "Why?" You and Kory asked in unison.
"The boys had already begun an air hockey tournament with Gar and Vic, not as winning team which means another tournament." You looked over your shoulder and sure enough, found the men huddled around the arcade games with the women in the living room a few feet away from the men.
By now everyone had arrived and you knew one pair was missing. "I'm just happy we're all gathered together without the world hanging by a thread. It's good to have everyone here with a good and relaxed reason." You offered to Rachel who shrugged. "It is most delightful," Kory said and you smiled gesturing at her.
"Hey, Y/n?" You felt Kara's firm grip on your shoulder making you look up at her.
"Babs said she had the conversation with you." You looked at the blonde excusing yourself from the other two. "She did so you don't need to." You crossed your arms over your chest getting defensive and Kara simply laughed shaking her head.
"You are more eager than usual." You didn't hear Diana but you could hear Cassy's giggle which made you tense knowing that the two often travelled together.
"Cass!" You heard Steph and Tim greet and you internally sighed. "Let's go greet." Kara wrapped an arm around your shoulders securing you to her side as she dragged you over to Diana.
You noticed her blue eyes on you for a moment stopping you in your tracks but you powered through with Kara's help.
"Y/n!" Cassy wrapped you in a tight hug making you groan. "Cassy it's good to see you- can't breathe." You wheezed and Diana quickly pulled Cassy back.
"Remember your emotions can make you a bit dangerous to humans." Diana softly reminded the young girl.
"I am sorry." Cass apologised and you smiled shaking your head. "Your hugs are always welcome Cass don't worry about it, I just don't wanna die because of a hug. Death by hug, doesn't sound as cool to me." You laughed easing the girl's mind and making her grin. You were so focused on the small blonde you didn't notice Diana looking at you with a soft smile, appreciative of how you took the girl's feelings into account and impressed by you handling the situation in a serious but lighthearted fashion.
"Cassy you still owe me that arm wrestle match," Kara said and Cassy's eyes lit up. "You remembered!" She beamed at the taller blonde making you giggle.
"Let's go." Kara walked away leaving you with Diana making you internally scold her.
"Evening Y/n." You looked up at Diana and smiled at her. "Hi. I'm glad you could come." You said and she smiled with a nod.
"May I speak with you please?" She asked in a hushed manner and you nodded knowing that the balcony wouldn't help seeing as the room was filled with superheroes that had super senses. "Is my room okay?" You gestured down the hall and she nodded allowing you to lead the way even if she knew exactly where your room was.
Entering your room you felt yourself grow red at the mess your room was. "Sorry about the mess." You apologised softly as you walked out to the balcony gesturing outside following after Diana to the balcony. "It's always a mess and you always apologise yet I still do not mind," Diana answered and you hummed still surprised that this neat warrior wasn't remotely repulsed by your room.
"So what did you wanna talk about?" You asked turning your attention to the skyline. You rested your elbows on the balcony railing in the corner of your eye spotted Diana step closer until her hip pressed against the same railing you were leaning on. "It's hard to think a month has passed since the invasion," Diana stated and you hummed in agreement, still amazed at how quickly people fell back into their old routines as if nothing happened—those who could that is.
"I wanted to talk about what happened between us," Diana said and you weren't sure what it was that made you blurt out. "I'm sorry it was a mistake." You put a hand over your mouth noticing the hurt look on her face.
"You did not mean to kiss me?" Diana asked and you shook your head struggling to form the words. You never knew how to articulate your feelings as well.
"You did not want to kiss me?" You could see how the Amazon was just as confused and concerned.
"Y/n, I am confused." She sighed rubbing her temple and you sighed closing your eyes as your thoughts raged louder until she took your hand in hers successfully silencing those loud thoughts.
"Y/n talk to me, please." Diana requested and you sighed but nodded.
"You are my best friend." You said choosing your words carefully. "I believe Barbara and Kara wouldn't agree," Diana said making you chuckle and shrug.
"Well, you are one of my closest friends and I cherish our friendship very much." You rephrased seeing her slow nod. "I would never forgive myself if I screwed that up." You said and she nodded understandingly.
"You are very dear to me too Y/n. And so is our friendship but I know that the feelings I have for you goes beyond what human tradition calls friendship." Diana said and you gulped nodding.
"Y/n, my heart aches for you. I do truly respect you and I understand that you want to save our friendship but I love you so much that I am willing to risk our friendship because I want to be able to call you mine." You were surprised by how well Diana has conveyed her feelings and you had a feeling it was because she also spent weeks thinking about this moment.
"Diana..." You exhaled looking down at your hands smiling as her thumb brushed over your knuckles. You had never felt for anyone what you felt for the Amazon and at first, blamed her god-gifted powers but when you began noticing the smaller things, her excitement for picnics, her love for ice cream and her unapologetic laughter, you knew it was no longer just the gods to blame but your heart.
"Please Y/n, I have never felt this way before. I know it's a big risk but I'm willing to take it as long as it's with you. I know I am risking a lot just standing here asking you this but I cannot deny my feelings and in truth, I don't wish to deny them either." You then noticed her sweaty palms and her slightly clenched jaw. Diana was nervous standing here with you but still, she so bravely put herself out there because she wanted you.
"You're nervous." You almost whispered making the woman laugh but nod. "I am taking a big risk." She repeated again and you smiled letting go of her hands to pull her into a hug. You felt her arms immediately wrap around you as you rest your head on her chest, ear pressed to her chest to hear her heart beating rapidly.
"Why risk it?" You asked feeling her hand stroke a diagonal pattern on your back. "Because I won't be able to forgive myself if I don't ever try to pursue the loveliest person I've had the pleasure of meeting." You blushed at her words and pulled away holding onto her arms as she lowered her hands to rest on your waist.
Looking into her striking blue eyes you couldn't deny the future you so easily pictured her in and neither could you deny the fear of losing one of your closest friends.
"I'm scared." You whispered and you swore you could see it in Diana's eyes too. "Y/n, if you do me the honour of giving me a chance, I promise to be the best for you." You could see nothing but truth and adoration in her eyes that never failed to rope you in more each time.
"Diana I would love to but we don't have normal lives. My best friend is an alien and my other best friend nearly got paralysed by a crazy clown who thinks he's worth a shit." You could feel how suddenly it all became surreal at that moment. "I know and I don't mind. My best friend dresses as a Bat and sometimes makes poor decisions and the other is also an alien." Diana said making you chuckle at her choice of describing the two men.
"I cannot have a normal life Y/n. I am not normal and I have come to terms with the fact that I will never have a normal life. But it doesn't mean we can't be happy while living such strange lives. If I've learned anything from all my years here is that happiness is a rare and beautiful thing that you should be willing to fight for and I'm more than willing to fight for you." Diana said and you smiled up at her feeling your heart flutter at how she so easily calmed your nerves.
"You would date someone who also dresses as a bat?" You asked raising a brow while Diana shrugged. "Your suits have never failed to impress me. I've come to the conclusion you just look good in all suits." Diana complimented making you smile at her.
"I'm willing to fight for you too." You said seeing how Diana sighed relieved before she pulled you into a bear hug making you giggle.
Pulling out of the hug Diana held your waist pulling you closer as you wrapped arms around her neck kissing her lips again. The kiss was soft and passionate. Her lips felt better than you remember, maybe because this time there was a calm about your surrounding that didn't make your heart hammer in your ears.
The kiss was much shorter than you liked but you didn't push it and when Diana leaned her forehead against yours you opened your eyes seeing her lips, smiling when you saw her smile then you looked up seeing her eyes scanning your face.
"Do you wish to tell the others?" Diana asked and you sighed. "Barbara is expecting an answer from me but if you don't want to I won't." You said and Diana pulled back looking at you.
"I am okay with others knowing that I am yours," Diana said and you smiled pecking her cheek. "Me too. But I think until we've figured it out let's not tell the others." You offered and she raised a slight brow.
"Do you not want them to know?" You knew Diana knew about the backlash same-sex couples have gotten it was one of the first things someone had to explain to her. "I don't mind if they find out Diana, I'm not worried. I just don't want others to interfere while we're still figuring it out, does that make sense?" You asked and she nodded.
"I understand." She assured you.
"Are we going to rejoin the others?" She asked and you hummed but stepped forward and laid your head on her chest closing your eyes. "In a minute." You felt her arms wrap tightly around you securing you and making you smile.
