i agree w everything here and also could not stop thinking about how Xena literally invented CPR and yet spent maybe half a second looking at Perdicus’ wound before declaring him a lost cause…. like dang too bad so sad

what's actually craziest to me though is that xena spends the entire episode prior to gabrielle being injured trying to heal people but also accepting when there's nothing she can do for them. she literally tells those guys that sometimes people are lost causes and they can't save them... and then when gabrielle literally stops breathing, when everyone tells her there's nothing she can do and gabrielle is gone, xena doesn't CAN'T walk away.... she cannot give up on gabrielle.... she would literally breathe life back into her. she would be the force that beats her heart again... there was nothing she could do except there was. gabrielle was gone except she wasn't... xena would reach out and pull gabrielle back to her every time!!!

laura lee is the archangel is lottie's spiritually based "religion", she mourns her through rituals and grounding practices, the fact that she says she's giving the wilderness what it wants while misty feels the immense guilt of her part in Natalie's death only tells me that lottie can't let go. The wilderness is this own entity of mourning and suffering and loss so much so that lottie can absolve herself of guilt or pain by believing it was all for a greater purpose, that way she can mourn her ritualistically, turning the memory of her spirit into a saint like she has with everyone that's died so far.

“I'm so glad people are starting to like Mari this season” starting? No lol I have liked Mari SinApellido Yellowjackets since season 1 when she was talking to Akilah in the plane and when Jackie asked who had the best arm and she went and said "I do, Jackie". I continued to like watching her being a hater and making belt soup and having one of the funniest lines in the whole show: praying "Wilderness, I hope Shauna doesn't die" at the worst possible moment (Taissa was gonna beat her ass lmao) and proving she has no social awareness. Some of y'all didn't appreciate her haterism and silliness but I did. Love her.

two episodes of yellowjackets S3 in and taissa is giving a triple dose of girl failure. i’m sorry but she was down so bad for van - what do you mean she called in favors just to take her to a fancy restaurant. and when van didn’t like it turned to “oh ok should we just dine and dash?” like girl get UP. she’s talking about how lottie is unwell and in the meantime she has van sleeping on her child’s bed while inviting her to her marital bed. “my wife has cancer” girl please!!!!!
