I shaved my head for an art project - my sister took photos of me shaving my head for her art project to discuss coping mechanisms of mental illness and the concept of femininity, it鈥檚 always been somewhat of a personal ritual to shave my head when I鈥檓 not feeling good about myself in order to force myself to love myself and feel pretty even without hair, hair =/= femininity and I think it鈥檚 important to remember that and to remind myself of that. I think every woman should shave her head at least once as an exercise in self love, empowerment and liberation from gender roles.聽
