Since Withers isn't in Snapped, I would say the crypt where you find him originally would make sense as the place where Amara would be, having left the whole of the traps untriggered by snapping her way past them, only for the party to stumble across them and trigger them, trapping her! She could be recruited once the crypt is safe to traverse again, I would think.

answer in the tags: if your tav was a recruitable companion in bg3, where on the map would you find them and what would they be doing? would they be hostile to the player, or need their help with something before they could be recruited?

I made the mistake of romancing him on my very first playthrough and choosing to be spun out of orbit in the terrifying human centipede godly kama sutra scene instead of this one. I now understand why he's called the Rizzard of Waterdeep.

Also, he speaks the way Hozier sings. 😍

Yes I definitely agree!! I'd love to read your tav's game and you're free to read mine too! I've been writing hers since September. I twist the game lore just a little bit and add some dialogue of my own here and there but it's ultimately fairly true to my first playthrough!

I think we need more fics that follow Tav throughout the entire game (and i mean the whole game.) I started mine as an exercise to get back into writing and it's been so much fun (plus you get a rough guide for pacing and plot!!!). I want to see every scene in Baldurs Gate 3 through your eyes. I want to know how you felt when walked through the Shadow Cursed Lands for the first time. I want to know how conversations would have gone with companions if you were there. I want to know your first impressions of everyone. I just think it would be really cool of you....
