gem ocs in 2025 no one can stop me!!!

Morganite is a ship captain that her higher ups (Emerald) don’t remember and her crew don’t respect. The ship is actually kept running by her Pearl who commands the ships pilots and engineers behind her back. When Morganite’s ego and desire to prove herself cause the ship to crash on a strange abandoned planet during a routine mission to retrieve old gem tech, she must learn to value her crew, herself, and work with Moldavite to find them all and fix their ship. During the experience, Morganite and Moldavite accidentally fuse and must pretend they didn’t while ignoring their feelings for each other. When the rest of the crew find out; they are just happy something interesting is finally happening to them and Morganite is a better leader for it. All aside from Pearl, who once they return to homeworld, plans to tell on Morganite and get her bubbled or reset so that she can escape working under her. Moldavite, a lower ranked gem, would be shattered outright for fusing with a gem of Morganite’s rank.
