Yeah I have dentures but sensory issues make it annoying to eat with them. It's fine.

I'm handling it better even if I hate wearing them (I'm just more comfortable without which uh. Sucks because family helped pay for the dentures so they were EXPENSIVE (USA amiright hahaha.) but yeah.) At least there's no more pain. That helps. Some foods are difficult to eat but most I can eat just fine without teeth. Or dentures. Lol

I think it's easier for me to skirt by socially because I personally still mask in public so even if I go "fuck it I don't wanna have the dentures today" I won't look. Weird. If I forego them alltogether that day

Ohh yeah I get it, I heard they’re uncomfortable;; I‘m glad your family helped you with the payment at least! I sadly don’t have any nearby family who would do that so I have to figure something out;; My friend suggested I get them made in a different country because it’s like half the amount there which would be around 15.000? But even that is a MASSIVE amount considering I‘m just scraping by, I make 200 bucks above what’s considered poverty in my country;; Also I have a loan to pay off and don’t get any extra holiday or Christmas payment so that makes things harder.

I‘ll see if I can talk to my dentist soonish about my options. I’d love to have like, at least my upper front teeth removed/fixed because they cause me the most trouble with how brittle and ugly they are.

I was too far gone they just had to remove all mine. What autism and unmanaged depression do to a bitch. (I'd come off anon but really shy about admitting at my age I had to get all my teeth removed. People are unkind to the neurodivergents who are unsightly yk.. AH sorry to get a little heavy there.)

This may sound dramatic but I really want to get my upper teeth fixed. Entirely. My upper teeth are literally falling apart because of the long term purging and no amount of brushing helps anymore… they’re so brittle that even flossing can break parts of them off. It’s so damn expensive though so I need to save up for veneers or something… not only are they brittle, they’re also really ugly.

Don‘t fucking purge I‘m begging y‘all. I‘m 25 for God‘s sake and have to worry about biting into a piece of bread.
