emma had gotten the day off since she was a senior and so close to graduation while the rest of the school was testing. she had worked a little bit at the garage and then decided to get some supplies for her new little pet. she turned around when she heard someone call out. “oh of course! how can i help?” she asked with a small smile.

“i do not warrant that you are wrong. i believe it to be true after seeing your father successfully take the avengers back in time to retrieve the stones.” the brunette spoke as she looked at the other. at this point nothing seemed to be all that far fetched. “that is very much something i likely would have done.”

morgan smiled softly at the mention of her dad. “yeah,” she breathed. “he was something else. it sometimes had made her sad to know that everyone else knew her dad longer than her. her smile grew and nodded. “don’t tell uncle bruce but you were one of my favorite teachers.”

Strange’s eyes narrowed and his brows focused into two sharp lines. He remembered Steve telling him that Tony never even want to build a time machine out of fear of losing his family. What would Tony say if he just allowed his daughter to meddle with that very same technology?

“I know you’re not a kid, you’re a very capable young woman. But the avengers, we have a responsibility to ensure that the people we love our safe, that includes you and your mother.” He explained, trying to ease over some of her frustration, trying to be more patient, a concept he was certainly not familiar with.

“As four housing, an apartment will do. It’s not Bleaker Street, but as long as the apartments are spacious, I should get by. As for a surgeon…well…” he lifted his hands to show how shaky they were in the absence of magic. “I’ll become a professor and do minor things in a hospial. Should bring me enough money to get along.” He reasoned.

“I think you should attend university. If you’re going to be stuck in another world you might as well learn a few things.”

morgan stood there and stared back at him with narrowed eyes herself but the smallest of smiles tugging at the corners of her lips. she knew they loved her and that’s why they were so protective. but at the same time, she was iron man’s daughter. she was tougher and smarter than she looked. 

“yeah yeah i know. it’s not like you guys have been telling me that my whole life or anything. uncle sam still gives me crap for stealing his shield for a sled,” she joked with a scrunch of her nose. “but i can handle messing around with f.r.i.d.a.y and a couple of my dad’s old stuff. it’s not like i’m messing with the reactor.” 

“i can show you where they are but you’re not gonna like them. just be aware of that now,” she chuckled, nodding her head and walking backwards. she gave him a small, sad smile. “i think you’d be a pretty good professor though. as long as you can be patient with some people,” she teased. “i mean you taught me stuff. yeah but the biggest question is what in the world would i major in? i could probably test out of some of the basics,” she replied.

“oh,” he said, slightly confused. he still didn’t understand why she had mentioned the thing about the two legs, but he seemed to go along with it. “ok, well, uh, nice to meet you then lady.”

“i....,” she started. should she reveal her true form? would he kill her? “i am lady stark. i was a direwolf back in our world. miss sansa’s direwolf. your family killed me,” she said, holding her head up high. she felt no shame about who she was. who her loyalties were with.

being that the red head had barely been in the new town, it was growing stranger that she could almost always feel eyes on her. to the black widow it often felt as though there were people that knew her watching her. but that made no sense, as far as she knew she was dead. by this time clint should have returned with the soul stone to their normal timeline. did they not get the stones back? did she end up where ever the others had ended up? she had no idea. it was written all over her face that she had no idea what happened.

morgan had been curious about possibly starting up at the university. though she honestly had no idea what she wanted to study. she already was pretty far along in different subjects. she was the daughter of tony and pepper after all. she was reading a brochure about one of the several universities in the area when she happened to look up. her eyes widened. she recognized the woman easily. there had been pictures of her and the others around the house. “aunt natasha?” she asked in almost a whisper.

“you’ve got that right,” she said. “almost everyone is from a different land or time or something like that. “yup, been a witch my whole life,” she let out a small laugh. “melinda,” she repeated. “im bella.”

melinda nodded. “it’s still so strange,” she admitted. “i’ve never heard of anything like this. and i’ve heard some wild stories,” she chuckled. “me too. born that way. me and my brothers,” she replied with a small smile. “it’s nice to meet you, bella.”

Ghost didn’t know the details about what happened to his siblings, he didn’t know how some of them died, but he knew Lady had been put down only because Joffrey was angry. She had been innocent and they still took her life. “It is. You’ve been here for long?” 

lady smiled at him, happy to see him. she hoped that the rest of their siblings would show up soon. maybe they could all be together again. she shook her head. “maybe a week? i’m not sure, really,” she admitted. “you?”

there was no question about it- sansa had missed lady greatly. she had been a close companion of her, if only for a short time, and she had often dreamed that her direwolf was still with her, only to wake once more in the realisation that she was not. lady had always been a gentle sort, but she liked to imagine she would have been a comforting defence throughout all she had experienced, or at least a friend. “i’ve missed you too, lady. you were always so good a direwolf” it felt odd calling her that now that she appeared as human as any, but she kept the word for the time being, though she knew adjusting might be wise. “you don’t? that’s…forgiving of you” a frown unfurling into a smile, she had always blamed cersei for the loss, but still, she had held some guilt herself. 

lady was immensely glad that she had managed to find her girl. that sansa was there with her.  she just wished she could have gotten to her sooner. she was a little harder than lady remembered her; the graceful girl who’s dream it was to be a princess. lady would have protected her. she might have preferred to be gentle but if sansa had ever been in trouble, there was no hesitation that she would have protected the redhead. she smiled softly. “thank you miss sansa,” she said. she was glad that she had been good. she shook her head. “no of course not. i know you’d never hurt me. i blame that awful family. it was their fault. but i am here now. we can have time back, yes?”

Really?” Charlie had been leaving Europe before - he had been in China once to study the dragons there - but this here was unexpected, for sure. “But how? Mean, I know that will sound slightly insane now, but I have not planned in first place to come here, you know?”

lily froze when she heard his voice. she turned around with her large green eyes. “uncle charlie?!” she asked, a smile tugging quickly on her lips before moving towards him. “you’re here! i can’t believe you’re here. when did you get here?! oh none of us know how we got here though.”

“mmhmm. you have to pay for a lot of things here. it’s not fun.” she giggled and shook her head. “but they don’t seem to like it when you just take things from places,” she added, following him with a small smile. she was just glad he was there with her. she hadn’t liked being all alone. “well that’s true. i mean who would want to be kept in a zoo. not me.”

adam shook his head, “i admit i don’t know an awful lot about art, but i really, really don’t think that’s going to happen,” he told her as confidently as he could muster. “at least from my perspective, it looks like you’re talented.”

emma smiled at him and chuckled, looking down at her works. “thanks, adam,” she said softly. she hoped that it would all work out. she knew she’d love to study art. “i’m glad you think so.”
