DSP Black Whisky
Directors Special (DSP) Black is a brand of Indian whisky manufactured by United Spirits Limited owned by Diageo Group. Before 2008 DSP was a brand owned by Shaw Wallace & Company Limited. United Spirits acquired the company and on 1 April 2008, Shaw Wallace was merged with USL and DSP officially became a USL brand. It is molasses based liquor hence Shaw Wallace had to face a legal battle in the US courts which they actually won against the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) to sell the product as "whisky".
Nose: Smokey and Spirit Notes. There is a hint of fruitiness.
Pallet: There is a lot of sweetness of honey and vanilla. Its smokey and there is burn of spirit which is obvious for a drink @ this price. There is a lot of neutral spirit and hint of Indian malt spirits.
Finish: Spirit is very evident. Nothing really fancy. Just a good Indian budget whisky

Vat69 Blended Scotch Whisky
Vat 69 is a blended Scotch whisky created by William Sanderson & Son Limited of South Queensferry, Scotland, now part of Diageo. Despite its name, it is not a vatted malt, but a blend of about 40 malt and grain whiskies. Vat 69 Reserve carries no standard age statement.
Nose: Spirit burn, grainy, caramel and sweet notes.
Pallet: Smooth, grain malt, hint of honey, moderate smoke, citrus juice, caramel, biscuity and hint of pepper.
Finish: Woody, citrus juicy, spice and caramel.
Conclusion: A good budget scotch whisky which is smooth and flavorful. Could have been better.

White Owl Spike (Strong Beer)
White Owl Brewery, started in Mumbai in 2013 by Harvard Business School graduate Javed Murad, White Owl first started as a restaurant and later turned into a Brewery. Spike is Strong Wheat Ale beer.
Nose: Strong scent of malt a and rice
Pallet: The taste of barley malt is very evident. I feel this beer is too straight with no extra showoff’s. It’s slightly bitter in the background and not too frothy. But the taste of the beer is definitely not bad . You will go for another one for sure.
Finish: Slightly bitter in the background, but doesn't destroy your pallet. Has a good overall mouth feel.
Conclusion: It’s definitely a goto beer @ the price which it is offered. It will not disappoint you.

Becks Ice Superior Strength.
Beck's Brewery, also known as Brauerei Beck & Co., is a German Brewing Company launched Becks Ice range of Strong beers with 8% ABV. Its a pure malt beer.
Nose: Malt notes and hint of citrus
Pallet: Maltiness, truly low on bitterness, smooth, not too sweet as well. Perfectly balanced.
Finish: Fantastically smooth, tasty, lovely. It’s just a smooth flow down the throat to your beer belly. The high is soothing, Its an amazing beer, fantastically crafted.
Conclusion: Becks Ice is a very smooth beer and you will definitely want more of it.

Budweiser Magnum
Budweiser is an American style beer introduced in the year 1876, which is produced using malted barley, rice, hops, water and yeast. Malt gives color and yeast is key in the flavor. The hops gives the beer spice and aroma.
Nose: Medium froth, smell malted barley and rice.
Pallet: The taste of malted barley is very evident. There is a hint of sweetness. I didn't find it bitter. The high is very very smooth, it just glides you. The flow just melts in your mouth.
Finish: You will definitely want more of this beer. Because it just disappears from your pallet as soon as you swallow it. The flow down your throat is soothing.
Conclusion: Its a goto beer. I will definitely add this to my list of favorite beers.

Bira91 Strong Beer
Bira91 Strong beer is an “High Intensity Wheat Beer” owned and retailed by an Indian company B9 Beverages Indian Pvt Ltd. It is one of the India’s most famous beer among beer enthusiasts. It has several other variants like Bira Light, Bira White, Bira Blonde etc. I will try to review them anytime in the future.
Nose: Orange Peel, citrus notes
Pallet: Wheat malt, Orange peel, hint of sweet, good amount of froth, citrus scent.
Finish: Fantastically smooth, tasty, lovely and not sour at all. It’s just a smooth flow down the throat to your beer belly. The high is so liberating, its just perfectly crafted.
Conclusion: This beer is so smooth that anyone can bottom sip a 500ml can and feel really fantastic on their pallet and throat.

Seagram’s Blenders Pride Whisky
Blenders Pride is a Indian whisky, manufactured by Pernod Ricard. It is a blend of Indian grain spirits and imported Scotch malt with no artificial flavoring. It comes with 42.8% ABV. Most of the Indian whiskies are made from molasses which is basically Rum, but Blenders Pride is a True Whisky on a budget. Pernod Ricard also has a premium version of Blenders Pride, called Blenders Pride Reserve Collection, which I will try to review sometime in the future.
Nose/Smell: Smoke, Spirit and grain malt.
Pallet/Taste: Smoky, spirit, grain malt, spice, hint of vanilla and caramel.
Finish: Gets spicier with gentle flow down your pallet, with your pallet still tasting the grain malt gives you good punch.
Conclusion:. Overall the whisky is a well blended grain and malt whisky and It comes at a very affordable price. There is nothing better than this @ this price point. Its a perfect choice.

Seagram's 100 Pipers Blended Scotch Whisky
100 Pipers is a brand of blended Scotch whisky which is produced by Pernod Ricard. It is a blend of between 25 and 30 source whiskies. Much of it comes from the Allt a'Bhainne distillery. This whisky comes with a 42.8% ABV. This blended whisky is named after the number of pipers who preceded Bonnie Prince Charlie into battle.
Nose/Smell: Sweet Caramel, smoke, malt and woody.
Palate/Taste: Soft and creamy, grain whisky, smoke, much sweeter with a bit of spice at the tail.
Finish: Gentle finish and gets spicier slowly.
Overall: A well blended whisky for the price. Doesn't come with a age statement. Its a much younger whisky, at least a minimum of 3 years old. But you cant complain much for the price @ which it retails. If you are a beginner or experienced and like a sweet whisky, you would kind of enjoy it for sure.

Johnie Walker Black Label
Black Label is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky and is one of the world's most famous blends. It is a blend of around 40 whiskies and was introduced in the year 1909, with a distinctive mellow smoky note.
The whisky has medium legs and has a rich amber color with 40% ABV
Nose/Smell: Caramel, peat smoke, rich molasses and spice
Palate/Taste: Charred wood, butterscotch, vanilla and peaty smoke
Finish: Good amount of smoke is evident without being overpowering, Slight burn towards the end with some nice sweet notes mingling with the hint of peat.
Conclusion: Black Label is a very well balance whisky, which makes it a easy standalone drink. If you are new to whiskies and want to try something smoky and peaty, go ahead with this one. You will ask for more.

Glenlivet 12 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glenlivet 12years is one of the most famous single malts in the world from speyside. It is matured in both European and American oak casks.
Fruity, floral and honey notes with a creamy mouth feel.
Nose/Aroma: Fruity, hint of honey, malty, apples, raisins and a light touch of vanilla
Palate/Taste: A smooth mouthfeel with sweet entry of malt, which slowly develops to fruity notes with hint of raisins and spice. Smoke is felt, but not overpowering. Its a sweet whisky and manages to be right. Well balanced.
Finish: Its a very light whisky with a hint of oak and spice. You can feel the malt. It has a short finish, but will delight you.

Glenfiddich 12 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glenfiddich is a family owned distillery. Glenfiddich 12 year old is one of the world's best-selling single malts. It has a Golden color to it.
Nose: Its fresh and fruity with a hint of pear. The blend is beautifully crafted and it has a well balanced aroma.
Taste: The pallet gets fruity and sweet notes, moves on to a butterscotch, creamy and malt touch. A hint of subtle oaks is felt. Smoke is evident but not dominating.
Feel: Perfectly smooth, easy drinking. Might finish the bottle in a single sitting.
Finish:Honey, pears and oak slowly fades to soft smooth flow of malt with a pleasant finish.

Old Monk Rum
Old Monk is a dark rum produced by Mohan Meakin Limited in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a molasses distilled rum, which was never commercially advertised and It's one of the largest selling rums in the world, until recently. All thanks to word of mouth.
Dark brown color with golden hue.
Nose: Sweet Honey and Vanilla, hint of spice. This rum has long legs and a heavy body.
Pallet: Vanilla, Caramel and resins. Can feel the aged rum. Perfectly smooth when having neat. Just loves to sit your tongue and swirl all across your mouth. A very pleasant taste.
Having with water will dilute the drink slightly, but bitterness is very evident.
Finish: Mouthfull taste of Vanilla, honey and spice. Slight burn of the alcohol in your throat will throw a fabulous smile on your face. (When consumed Neat)

Paul John Bold Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky
Paul John Bold is one of the whisky which is high in Peated Malt. The Smoke is very evident from the whisky on the Nose and Pallet: Definitely a Peated Malt. Paul John uses the huskier 6-row barley when compared to the 2-row Barley used by the Scotch.
This whisky loves to open up and mix with the fresh air before you nose and taste it.
Nose: Smokey, with cinnamon and citrus fruits.
Pallet: Good amount of sweet and its strong honey note, caramel and hints of citrus fruits and spiciness carried from the nosing and strong punch of that 46%ABV . Its absolutely smooth for mouth-full taste of the Bold Whisky. Its perfectly an easy drink. if not cautious with the quantity, a full bottle would sip you in.
Finish: You will not afford to loose the lovely taste of peat, honey, caramel and fruitiness which would linger all across your mouth, if its your last sip for the day.
