impatiently waiting for my applicant portal to update so i can pay my deposit and sort out accommodation. hopefully that happens early this upcoming week. i've booked a quick weekend trip to visit the campus + accommodation options in two weeks. i'm so excited!! i miss uni and studying and having the routine and structure of it all. if i had all the money in the world, i'd just get endless masters degrees lol

i'm very tipsy off celebratory wine but i received an offer today from my top choice uni (dare i say a prestigious uni!) for my masters :-) maybe the studyblr will make a comeback in september

i have a conditional offer and they said i just need to followed up with my referees. my personal tutor got back to me and said she submitted it this evening. so it's all down to my old manager (and a €500 deposit)

i love doing any sort of CPR / first aid training because i immediately get some sort of feeling in my chest thinking im going to have a heart attack! well at least i'll know how to help someone else

a girl i knew in elementary school popped up on my explore page on instagram and it looks like she now lives and works in London. Sighhh I guess I'm not so unique for also moving abroad and ditching arizona haha

i sent her a message just saying it was cool to see others experience life outside arizona but i have no idea if she remembers me. we shall see if she responds

i'm visiting home for the next two weeks and i'm being nosy and listening in on my moms conference call.... i really shouldn't be so naive but my god these people sound straight out of Succession. would i like that nice corporate money? i can't lie i would but why is everyone but my mom laughing and making jokes while talking about serious lay offs... these people aren't real i actually can't believe it.

Revising for my quantum computing module which I am very behind on. Luckily, I only have three exams this year. I've gone home for the holiday, and it's so nice to be able to enjoy my mother's cooking while preparing for exams. However, I will have to go back to uni early to finish off and submit my thesis.

a very kind man in line paid for a woman's purchase who's card wasn't working and couldn't speak much english to explain what she needed. did that good deed lighten anyone's mood? absolutely not. miserable place honestly

i never post on here anymore but just wanted to say i start my new job tomorrow (more money, nobody reporting to me so i'm basically the boss..., more independence, lots of room for creativity) after the last job that i thought was a dream job ended in a shit show. so things get better!!! i'm very excited and ready to move up into more project development roles 🫶

My Baudelaire presentation + essay are finally submitted! I’m basically done with this evening diploma in French and honestly… it’s a relief. Consistency really pays off, even when the end doesn’t seem in sight ⭐️
