Thinking about the 80-plus year old woman who voted for the first time because her husband was no longer around to control her and prevent her, the 104-year old woman in detroit who said her last Big life event was voting for Kamala, and the 110-year old survivor of the Tulsa race massacre who voted for Kamala, and the millions of others with similar stories and for my sister and my niece and my mom and so so so many more and how this country has continued to treat them is breaking my heart
