Questions 2/28
Q: How would you define a Digital Portfolio?
A: A digital portfolio is a collection of different types of material that are all related to each other on the web.
Q: What is the difference between a physical and digital portfolio?
A: With a physical portfolio it is tangible so the reader might get more out of it by physically being able to hold it while they read it. And with a digital portfolio that is a lot more creative things that one can do than what you could with a paper copy. Which allows the writer to truly express themselves.
Q: What platform have you selected for your Writer’s Studio and why?
A: I have chosen E-maze to do my Writer’s Studio because I like how the design is laid out and I feel like it is the simplest one to figure out which will allow me more time to work on the assignment rather than me spending time learning how to use the website.

X-Ray Goggle Reflection
X-Ray Goggle seem like it will be a very fun program to use while making my Digital Studio Project. Trying to learn the computer program language to us it efficiently will be difficult. However I am excited to see how it will turn out in the end.

Writing Process
The way that I started my paper was I made an outline with just the intro and the conclusion first. Then I looked for articles on my topic to get points of emphasis to focus on and help me plan out my other paragraphs.

How Do You Read?
When think about a work (whether it be a text or an image) one should break it down into smaller more digestible parts, rather than looking at it as a whole. Once you have it broken down the way that you want, you will need to analyze or think about what the work is trying to tell/show you. Once you get your ideas about all of the smaller parts look for a common theme through out to see what the creator of the work was trying to get you to understand.

Hesse or Teller
I agree that being able to write a good complete complex sentence is essential when writing papers. However, in a writing course I do not think that this should be the main focus. I think the focus should be on teaching students how to write in different composition depending on what subject that they are writing able and giving them all the tools to do just that.

UWRT Day One: Werewolf
The board game “One Night Werewolf” was an activity used in class to show some of the skills that we will be using throughout the semester in a fun and active way. Some of the skills that the game caused you to use was flexibility and question/reasoning. Flexibility came in useful when you had to player a new character in the game for the first time. This skill can come in handy when writing a paper in a new style than what you are used to writing. The question/reasoning skill was the main aspect of the game because you had to find out who the werewolf was to win. This skill allows you to dig up more information on a topic that you are writing on.
