my family wasn't this strict, but in some sects of buddhism you're not allowed to eat the "five pungent vegetables", onions garlic shallots leeks and umm chives i think, really any of those kind of vegetables. probably some monk ages ago was tired of onion farts stinking up the temple. anyways, one time my brother made a soup using all five of them. he said, "one sip of this, and you'll be reincarnated as a flea."

SiIvaGunner's CCC side story, Cognitive Dissonance, has finally publically released!!

...And I was the LEAD WRITER for it!! My first time ever writing for the CCC! How exciting!

(I was also an art director too...!)

I've been so overjoyed seeing everyone's reactions to CogDis, I'm very very happy you all enjoyed it! I love and appreciate all of the hard work everyone in siiva put into making this side story the best it possibly could be!

This entire story is weirdly personal to me... it just ended up being that way because I tend to put personal aspects of myself into my work, to make it the best it possibly can be. Writing the psychological horror sections were quite difficult, as I had to tap into a very deep (sort of scary) part of my brain to make them. And that damn elevator scene!

Here's my favorite part of the entire script, if anyone's wondering.

I enjoy how meta it is, sort of dissecting the nature of siivagunner lore itself. Fun stuff to me!

this post's hypothetical by itself is already ridiculous but the thing that gets me is how the wording implies two very funny things that become funnier in tandem

1. "Accidentally, the pitcher tosses a Christian baby" means this is a mistake on the pitcher's part. i imagine the pitcher is breastfeeding on the field and they pitch and they look down at their hands and they see the ball still in the glove and they go "fuck"

2. hitting the baby will still win you the game
