little vent: it's annoying when the people with 'proshippers dni' in their bios follow you, but you know all you write and post on your fandom tumblr is a (canonically abusive and messy) relationship between one guy and his direct superior. it really makes you wonder. 🤔 🤔 🤔

vetting followers to block the weirdos so you don't get into "uwu that's such an ~abusive ship" drama is so... just, burdensome sometimes? i wish they'd take basically any responsibility for themselves, instead of following people they supposedly don't want to interact with and then acting aghast at what's on their feed. they won't, obviously. but i'd like it if they did.

i think i need to visit a park and look at ducks or something. i feel very tired about it all. #fandomfatigue lol

So many "[fandom] women week" and femslash events implicitly or explicitly exclude darker relationships (aside fron than whatever normalised codependent bs they think is healthy and ideal, of course). So I do not participate. I would love to participate in female-centric fandom events, but fandoms aren't usually accepting of that. I'd like to write more fucked up stuff for female characters in general but I'm afraid of the pushback and the lack of people coming to my defense.

(example: if I tried to write a Georgie Baker* x Nikola Orsinov** fic with my usual themes, I think I'd (ironically if you know the source) get skinned alive.

709970947735797760 There's no such thing as a 'proship' ship nonnie. 😭 Proship is a word to describe someone who lives by the ship and let ship worldview in fandom, it's not a word to describe ships. "Pro" isn't short for "problematic", it's a prefix that means "in support of" (in this case "in support of all ships", as in, in support of people shipping whatever without bullying them even if you don't like the ship).
