War flashback
“I really don’t want to fight anyone, friendly training battles sure. I just don’t want to fight anymore. I um I can’t do fire.”
( Did I forget this yes.)
@monkie-kid-oc-showdown
I heard that we could ask the fighters questions!
What is everybody's powers, and weaknesses?
I see what you're doing, asking weaknesses so you know exactly how to defeat your opponents!!

Mk and Mei, after they had suspected something was off with me get hired at Pigsy’s. They tried to follow me around while I did deliveries, they later found out Sandy put in a good word for me with Pigsy after I was getting too antsy in the boat house.
Sandy is a good friend he picked me up when I was injured and let he stay in his boat until I got healed up and later when my home got destroyed. He doesn’t mind that I have nightmares and wake him up in the middle of the night. Something we both have nightmares and just have tea and talk about anything, he doesn’t try to push to get me to tell him what the nightmares were about

Who are y’all’s friends..?

“I actually have 6 or 7 siblings and one nephew last time my family was gathering. As for love interests…”
The feeling of betrayal and pain, seeing that smile painted on his face made rage curl inside him
Then the swift memories of laughter, cuddles, one who reached out (despite Fei’s closed off nature) to tend to his wounds, and then fanning flames that took that all away leaving him cold and lost.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Fei said his ears laid back and his tail curling around himself for comfort
@monkie-kid-oc-showdown
Do any of you champs have love interests or any family members?
I'll rb this one for propaganda too!!

(Honestly a lot of the ocs look cool and I thought Fei might get along with but I had to shorter it to three 😅 ) @lmk-oc-competition
“I don’t know anyone here. And I’m not sure about friends. I agree Jie’s ( @manonim ) wish for a peaceful life, it’s what I wished for to after my travels. A peaceful life is something I would fight tooth and nail for. Huli Shaoxing ( @reagansragepage ) honestly sounds cool and Pen ( @demonichunny ) looks cool too.
“What did I say about you making friends?”
“Shut up,” Fei says with a soft smile

“You’ll thank me later.”

“That’s a hard question.”
His mom, her soft voice and warm hug in quiet moments, the harder voice of a warrior in battle and ruthlessness of a panic mother
His sisters always with him, who had his back until the argument. It was them hug him first when he tentatively held out the olive branch.
Sandy who tended to his burns and let him have somewhere safe to stay despite the fact that he was literally a stranger that was dropped on his boat. The fact that he understands his nightmares and doesn’t push for information.
A red wing stretching through bars to to protect him from the chill, someone holding him as he gets the first glimpse of the outside world in so long as they fly, a voice trying to remain upbeat, and single red feather that remains of him.
The last one hurts
“I can’t choose just one there are a lot of important to me.”

Honestly I think is going to kind of help with art/writers block @lmk-oc-competition
Pigsy peeked out of the kitchen when he heard something slam against the counter, he was expecting the typical irritated or impatient customer. Instead he was met with his new delivery boy who was sitting with his face down on the counter. That wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, it was the fact that he could see the fox ears pressed against his head. He paused to wipe his hands on a towel before he walked over to the counter.
“You okay there kid,” he asked, softening his voice, it still caused Fei to flinch before he turned his head so his cheek was pressed against the cold wood instead.
“Yeah,” he said with a sigh, slowly sitting up and resting his head on his arms instead.
“So what’s with the,” he stopped motioning towards the revealed ears and now that he was closer he could see how his tail was curled around the stool. This was the first time he thinks he saw them outside small moments of happiness or excitement when his glamor glitched as Mei and Mk called it.
“I saw the mayor recently, had a talk about maybe rebuilding my house since most of that district has been built for months now and other districts were rebuilt in less then a few weeks,” he said, the fur on his tail slowly spiking up as he sat up a bit
“He said no because he’s the mayor,” he huffed, dropping his head on his arms as his fur laid flat.
“Aren’t you staying with Sandy,” Pigsy asked, leaning against the counter as he crossed his arms.
“I mean, yes but it feels like I’m taking up space and he is already taking care of so many cats. He already had to go out of his to treat my burns when I all but fell on his boat,” he said, his ears dipping lower.
“Look kid if you were really a bother to him Sandy would tell you. I grew up with the guy and he may not seem like it but he had a temper and while he cooled down from then he’s not going to silently suffer if you were taking too much room he would tell you,” he said, setting his hand on Fei’s head.
“If you say so,” Fei said, the tip of his tail moving to slowly wag.

A young Fei with his some of his sisters. Fun fact these three are triplets
@lmk-oc-competition
Tumblr media
“Fei that was a dumb thing to do.”
Those were the first words that greeted Fei after he snuck away from human village to shed his glamour in the dense undergrowth of the forest. He ears laid flat as he looked at his sister Jilpa, her glare didn’t last long as her worry won out and she matched over to him with sharp eyes taking note how he hid one of his hands behind his back.
“Did they notice anything off about you,” she asked looking back towards the village when the sounds of the festival drew nearer. They both grabbed onto each other’s sleeves as ducked further into the underbrush in fear. Unpleasant memories of their original home be burned to the ground by humans arose to the forefront of their minds, of being separated during the choas and not sure who survived.
“No I stuck to the very edge of everything and remained calm so I wouldn’t accident drop the glamour,” he sighed in fake annoyance but his tail betrayed him as it wagged and he thought of showing off his what he had managed to grab.
“Come on I want to show Daiyu,” he whispered to her tugging on her sleeve giving one last look towards the village before hurrying off back to the safety of their family’s territory.
It wasn’t hard to find Daiyu though the sky had started to darken, they both knew she would close to the healer’s quarters having taking up an interesting in medicine. At least that’s what she had told their mom. They both knew that it was for a demon that had been moving stand offish with them. But it seemed like their sister was slowly breaking down her walls. They snuck closer and saw Daiyu sitting on the steps into the hut.
Jilpa nudged Fei as they slowly approached see the huli jing clothed in purple looking downtrodden.
Fei looked at her and nodded before a big smile spread across his face. Sweeping into a bow at the waist that grabbed their sister’s attention with the wide movement.
“It is great pleasure I come from the human village with something you haven’t seen before,” he said raising himself to stand.
Jilpa sat next to her putting a hand on her shoulder.
“I risked life and limb to bring you something amazing,” he overexaggerated. With a quick movement he pulled out a small bag and grabbed a small gray stick from inside before sticking into a small torch nearby. It lit with a spark and crackled as it looked like a small star. Fei presented to Daiyu who took it with a small bit of hesitance as she stared at it with wide eyes at the trail on light it left behind.
“You went to the human village for this,” Jilpa asked leaning over Daiyu’s shoulder to get a better look.
“Yep,” he chirped looking at the amazing on his sisters’ faces as he settled down beside them. “Since I clearly did something amazing it must mean I’m the coolest and oldest of us,” he said puffing out his chest.
“I mean it’s from the human village, if anything it means you’re the reckless and youngest of us,” Daiyu said looking away from the sparkler to tease him.
Fei deflated but that didn’t keep him down for long as Daiyu ruffled his hair.
“It’s still pretty amazing ,” she said.

You know, Wukong and Chang'e being friend is kinda cute idea to me.
They are both destined to be alone in life. Chang'e is stuck on the moon with no one but her robot rabbits kinda thing and no one can reach her cuz you know moon. And Wukong who was trap under a mountain for 500 years and isolate himself for another 500 years after he traps DBK under the mountain with no one but his subjects. Everyone he close to either dead or hates him. They both just immortal being who is lonely.
Imagine them becoming friends and tell how lonely they are while cooking something together. I mean, we know Chang'e likes Wukong, she's one of Wukong's fans so why not? Wukong became Chang'e's regular invited guest making Pigsy jealous lol. Also what their friendship name is? 🤔
But IDK if what I said make sense or not sorry if not, it just cute idea to me (つ≧▽≦)つ

Okay random idea but court drama (not exactly) with shadowpeach.
Macaque comes from a ruling family that resides near flower fruit mountain for years they can been considered expanding and taking over the mountain as it seems uninhibit until a scouting squad returns with a message from the new up and coming monkey king.
Wanting to get on the good side of this new king Macaque’s family invite him to their palace as a way to smooth over any problems they might have caused and discuss a possible alliance.
The family is well renowned because of them being able to tell the future, and what they seen/heard of Wukong looks pretty promising from the ever shifting futures.
Macaque is very much unhappy with this idea since alliance within this kingdom usually means marriage. What’s a better offer? Someone who knows your future and can steer you away from disaster. It’s a great honor to many demons and celestials as those futures are kept a secret only spoken of to family.
Wukong who up to this point only had the monkeys of FFM to rule and has no idea of the flashy side of demon courting and just confused why the royal family is putting on big display of power and gifts. He’s just having fun following and spending quiet time with Macaque who reads him books, he could read them himself but he likes the way the prince reads it, they paint together, spar, and watches his plays.
Macaque who didn’t like Wukong at the start is slowly falling for the obvious king who on more than one occasion beating back both his and Macaque’s potential suitors. He would normally drop them into the distant ocean using a shadow portal when no one was looking but something in his chest flutters when he watches Wukong stand up and fight the more pushy ones, even if it does start up less then flattering gossip about Wukong in the court.
Macaque’s aunt and grandmother teases him about his very obvious crush since he started waiting to guide Wukong around, picking out books that Wukong like. They also saw Macaque’s scarf wrapped around his neck on more then one occasion which got him a lot of teasing from his older siblings/cousins about hearing wedding bells it his future.
They actually do hear weddings bells for him, through they are trying to keep an eye out for a certain blue lion so the wedding bells aren’t after many great tragedies for the pair. But it’s one future out of many surely it will be fine.

So I just posted my fic on Ao3 and Wattpad why not here as well? Heads up my Ao3 is Throwmeinthevoid and I’m tempted to change my tumblr to this.
If you asked Mk about his earliest memories he would tell you it was a kaleidoscope to colors and noise. A sad song and a gentle figure brushing his tears away before he was soothed to sleep and later awaken to cold ocean spray and the shocked squawking of a bird before Sandy, Pigsy, and Tang found him.
Years had passed since Mk was found and raised but now there were problems popping up. Questions of where he came from and why he was send a drift seemed to be the loudest. Especially with the shocking reveal that he isn’t human after the release of Dbk.
Why old demons of legends freeze or hesitate almost was if they recognize him or think he seems familiar was another question he needed answers to.
(I asked my friends for a lullaby for a different au and then this fic was born)
On a night when the moon was full a blur of red and orange could be seen through the jungle. He was scratched up, his armor missing and his fur in disarray as he stumbled over roots in his rush to get to the beach.
The cry of a child pierced the still, quiet night air.
“Shh, Xiaotian it’s alright,” Wukong whispers as he sets the basket down and lifts the small cub out of it. He gently bounces him in his arms and patted his tiny back as he spoke.
“It’s going to be alright, I need you to be brave,” he whispered as his son’s cries calmed down. He gently wiped his tears away, he was tiny, much too small to be sent from the mountain but he didn’t have a choice, not if Flower Fruit Mountain was going to be erased. It was already bad enough he had been bound to the mountain and couldn’t leave. But now they had put Xiaotian in danger and there wasn’t an easy out, Macaque had gone on the search for something to free him but he hadn’t seen the warrior in months. It was up to him to keep their cub safe.
“In just a few days time your mountain will be wiped from existence,” a celestial warrior mocked as they dropped the unfortunate cub they had managed to get a hold of. He lunged forward to catch her, patting startled cub’s back before he set her down well out of the reach of the warrior’s reach so the cub’s mother could grab her and scramble back to the safety of the cave.
They were much too close to the Water Curtain Cave for Wukong to allow them to walk freely about, especially since they had been scaring the monkeys to bait him out. His and Macaque’s cub was hidden from the celestial realm there, a secret only they and a few of the older immortal monkeys knew about, and now the few monkeys who had seeked him out for help.
“What are you talking about,” he growled, taking a step closer causing the celestial warrior to flinch and take a step back, probably remembering how Wukong had taken care of numerous celestial armies by himself.
“Oh you know, just with how reckless and impulsive you are, the Jade Emperor thought it would be a good idea to get rid of a threat. Why keep such a dangerous weapon if it has the chance of turning against you,” they said looking at their nails trying to put on a façade of uncaring but it didn’t work as their eyes kept straying to Wukong’s still form.
The sage’s face was blank and then rage overtook it at being called nothing more than a weapon, like he hadn’t redeemed himself.
A growl ripped from his throat as Wukong launched himself at the celestial, he wasn’t aiming to kill simply to injure or chase them out. His fangs bared as he tried to snap down the warrior’s arm.
The celestial warrior reached up and pulled one of the pins from their hair, twirling it between their fingers as it transformed into a melon hammer and swung it at Wukong with a cruel smile.
The hammer connected as Wukong tried to shift out of the way. It hit hard against his side, pushing him away from his target. He lands roughly on his feet trying to keep his balance and not land on his side from the force of the hit. He made a small grimace as he felt pain lace up his side as he moved, nothing felt broken but bruised bones hurt just as bad as a broken one.
“Huh, getting slow with old age,” they mocked.
“No, just warming up,” he said with a smile much too wide, showing off his fangs and rushing at them, a lot faster than before, punching them in the chest.
The celestial warrior was sent crashing through the trees, breaking through many of them before they stopped gasping for breath after having their breath knocked out of them. Their weapon long since thrown from their hand as they laid against a tree that now had a sizable dent in its trunk. Managed to catch their breath scrambled to stand up fear painted on their face as they saw Wukong approaching.
Wukong followed the path to broken trees left in their wake. It looked like the warrior had just gotten to their feet using the trunk of a nearby tree.
“What was that about being slow,” he asked as his tail lashed in silent anger.
The celestial warrior flinched as Wukong approached, before they stumbled away trying to escape.
“Oh no you don’t,” Wukong hissed as the warrior left his sight, he pulled out a handful of fur and blew them away. Each strand transforming into equally angry monkey king and growling as they took to the trees to chase after their unwanted visitor. All except one, he turned and nodded as the clone went back to the Water Curtain Cave to tend to Xiaotian in his absence before joining in the chase.
The mortal monkeys were quick to move out of the way or pull their cubs to their sides so as not to get involved with their king chasing off a threat. They younger monkeys barked as the celestial warrior past trying to help their king intimidate them, others whooped as the king and his clones passed, cheering him on. Some of the braver ones attempted to throw things at the celestial warrior before being pulled away by the immortal ones, being lectured about the risk.
The celestial warrior wasn’t used to the terrain of the area and stumbled over the roots that grew wildly over the jungle floor only staying upright because they caught themselves on the trunks of trees. They peered over their shoulder and were horrified to find the many Wukongs that were having no trouble at all keeping the pace jumping between branches with enough grace to make a cat jealous.
A few of the clones descended from the trees as the celestial warrior stumbled and lost their balance when they looked over their shoulder. They screamed as one managed to land directly on them and take the chance to bite them.
His sharp teeth sank through their flesh easily causing them to scream in pain. With the extra weight from the clone jumping on them caused them to tumble down the incline, taking the clone with them before he could leap back down the safety of the trees. They hit rocks and trees as they rolled, the clone had hooked his claws into their back and shoulders. Only letting his teeth unhook from their shoulder after his head hit another rock. The clone’s head hit hard against it, blood stained his mouth as he gasped from the pain before they poofed back into a strand to hair.
The celestial warrior rolled onto the sand of the beach and gasped as the added weight disappeared, they lifted themselves shakily up onto their arms only to see the group of Wukongs starting to arrive at the edge of the jungle. They got onto their feet as they started to descend from the branches.
They pulled the other pin from their hair that was already in tangles and let it transform into their remaining melon hammer; they swung it at one of the Wukongs, unsure if it was the real one or a clone. The first one they got lucky, swinging hard and causing them to poof back into hair.
The second had taken to swiping out their legs as a third descended on them, the momentum causing them to crash back onto the sand only giving them time to brace the handle of the weapon in front of them and manage to block a bite from the Wukong. They froze as his jaws locked around the handle revealing the sharp teeth that managed to sink into their flesh so easily earlier. They were definitely more intimidating up close.
The rumble of a growl broke them out of to the fear in time to see out of the corner of their eye another Wukong stalking closer, right as he was going to pounce they pulled the melon hammer closer to unbalancing on one on them and kicked out sending him flying when he had loosened his grip in thinking they were try to pull he into head but them.
The two hit a tree hard and turned a back but not without leaving them looking worse for wear.
They back up trying to put more space between them and the remaining Wukongs. They glanced back at the shore behind them only to turn back to see another trying to leap at the once again, they just had enough time to duck and cause him go flying over them, and reveal that one was a clone when it disappeared.
They smiled remembering something before they made a break for the shore, the rest of the Wukongs abandoning the tree line to chase after them. They sweated as they got closer but when they felt a familiar magic flow over them they turned just in time to see the rest of the clones disappear and the real Sun Wukong crashed hard into the sand withering in pain.
Right as Wukong was about to leap onto the bastard he felt as if lightning struck him. His body seized trying to curl into a ball to escape the pain, he bit his lip hard enough that he could taste blood on his tongue as he tried to hold back his screams. His glamours flickered before he mentally grabbed them and forced them back into place. He refused to be seen without them by this walking termite infestation.
His vision blurred with tears that he stubbornly wouldn’t let fall. He could just make out the figure of the celestial warrior, laughing or gloating? It was hard to tell with his ears ringing. Getting some control of his body he rolled away from the cause of the shock to lessen the pain. Taking deep breaths as his focus began to return, yep they were definitely gloating.
Wukong sat up grabbing a nearby stone, feeling the jagged edges bite into his hand, perfect, and threw it at the poor excuse of a warrior. The rock cut deeper across their cheek with the speed and force he used, blood quickly swelled to the cut, spilling blood on the sand.
“Get out of here,” he growled.
“As if you can-,” they were cut off as Wukong stood and stomped his way toward them. He tensed as the pain raced through him but he didn’t stop. They backpedaled before leaping into the air and racing away with fear in their eyes when Wukong was close enough to grab them.
Wukong quickly ran back to the bounds of pain free existence, shaking as he nearly fell but braced himself against a tree. His eyes flicker gold as he glared at the dome of magic surrounding his home. They had made it so he could only reach the shores of flower fruit mountain before he got shocked.
Macaque had first found out about it after Wukong had tried to test its limits, only managing to get less than halfway through the barrier before his vision turned black and he passed out.
He pushed himself back onto his feet before jumping onto his cloud and flying back to the waterfall. The words of the celestial warrior repeating in his mind.
What would happen to the monkeys, they could leave. They weren’t tied to this place like he was, and Xiaotian. Fear flooded his veins as he froze mid step just inside the cave. Xiaotian relied on him but he was immortal. What would happen to him?!
He picked up his pace returning home to plan and hold his son while he could.
This was the best he could come up with. Clones couldn’t escape the barrier to look for Macaque but some forms of his magic didn’t get dispelled by it, he could still protect Xiaotian’s basket. Make the basket indestructible and put the cub in a sleep until the basket is opened.
“Hush now my baby,” Wukong said as he pulled Xiaotian from his chest, thumbing away the last of his tears.
“Be still love don’t cry,” he said as the cub grabbed his finger in his tiny hand cooing at him in confusion.
He gently set him in the basket making sure the blankets covered him. Wukong walked into the water until it reached his waist, the tide had risen well past the barrier with the full moon, and gently set the basket in the water and wrapped his tail around it so it didn’t float away as he held his hands above it. A small circle of magic appeared between his hands, Xioatian babbled as he smiled reaching up towards it. With a small flash of light the small cub’s dark fur was replaced with smooth skin, looking like a human child.
“Sleep when you’re rocked by the tide,” he said. Now was the time, the tide was going back out. Gently lapping at the shore before it followed the moon’s pull back into the sea as it started its descent.
“Sleep and remember my last lullaby, so I’ll be with you when you dream.”
Would Xaiotian even remember him? He wanted to hold on to hope that Macaque would somehow find their son. They’d tell him about him after he was gone. About the funny adventures that they had, his struggles, his regrets. The dreams and seemingly silly fears of having Xiaotian, that he wasn’t abandoned but that he loved his mate and his son from the bottom of his heart. If he was gone they would at least have each other.
He laid a kiss on Xiaotian's forehead as he yawned before putting the basket’s lid tightly on, letting his magic flow over it. He held the basket gently in his hands allowing the water to gently rock it and pull it out of his reach. Past the barriers and towards safety. Wukong tried to wipe his tears away as he curled his tail around himself in comfort.
“River o river flow gently for me. Such precious cargo you bare.” Wukong moved to the very edge of the barrier, his fur fluffing up from the warning static, as the water lapped at stomach as he watched the basket get further and further away. Until it was a small dark spot on the waves.
“Do you know somewhere, he can be free,” he asked, tilling his head back gazing up at the sky, silently praying to some of the few gods he held respect for, the few he hadn’t managed to piss off in his youth.
“River, deliver him there,” he said, dropping his gaze back to the basket right as his sight of the ocean was cut off.
He was in shock for a few moments. Where was the death, darkest, Diyu or even nothingness? His brain was trying to make sense of this before he realized they hadn’t planned to destroy the island but rather cage him to it now with his cub on the other side and out of reach.
“No, no, no, no, no, no! NO!”
Wukong slammed his hands against the solid barrier. The electricity was gone but the barrier was strong he realized as his hand throbbed with pain. He sent Xiaotian out there alone! Dread grabbed his stomach as the few immortal monkeys that had decided to remain on the mountain with him chirped softly trying to comfort him. He shook his head. He needed to find a way out now!
His thoughts raced as he started to panic, his breathing getting fast. Maybe the new barrier had a weak spot he could exploit if he couldn’t get out, maybe there was still a way he could drag the basket back. Macaque and the other monkeys could come and go as they pleased with the other barrier without pain. Why would this new barrier be any different?! He jumped on his cloud, his eyes glowing gold as he flew upwards circling the whole area around the mountain but he couldn’t find any weaknesses, not a single chip in this cage that was quickly making his home a prison.
The magic seemed to meet at the top of the mountain. Maybe he could overpower the seal and escape? He could get his cub and hide out until it was safe to go looking for Macaque or until his mate found him and somewhere better to hide out. Without hesitation he rocketed himself towards the highest peak but just as he was about to reach the top of the mountain he was electrocuted. It was a lot stronger than the ones that shocked him before. It was enough to cause his cloud to disperse and his glamors to get torn through as his vision blacked out for a few moments.
He was free falling.
He felt nearly weightless as his body refused to obey him and move, to even summon magic.
It was only seconds later that he came crashing through the jungle canopy. His body made a loud crack as his back slammed into a sturdy branch breaking both his spine and the branch and he tumbled further. His bones tried to mend themselves only to break again when he hit more branches on the way down and finally hit the jungle floor wheezing, looking like a ruined puppet whose strings had been cut and tossed aside. It was hard to breathe not only because his fall had knocked the air out of him but because he was also sure a few ribs had managed to puncture his lungs.
He was covered in large scratches from where branches had pierced him during his fall, his blood was soaking into his shirt where a branch managed to impale him in the shoulder. His long hair in tangles with leaves and small branches fanned out beneath him. All of his scars bared to the world, along with the cursed circlet. His red eyes and his blackened fur unveiled from the glamor. Blood ran down his face from a cut above his eye as he stared at the moon wondering what he did to deserve this. He had thought that made up for the worst of his mistakes with the journey to the west, learned patience, humanity, and regret. But it seemed like that wasn’t enough for the celestial realm.
His vision blurred as he tried to blink the tears from his eyes but they still ran down his face. A small noise escaped his mouth, his chest shakily rising and falling as he cried. He couldn’t move his body besides the slight jerk from when the electric coursed through him, he body tried to recover from it and mend itself but it seemed like that would take awhile. He took in a ragged breath before he screamed, it wasn’t because of the pain from the fall, he was still numb to it, he had just lost his mate and cub in one fell swoop. Who knew how long it would take for Macaque to return, if he could get through the barrier like before. If he was trapped here forever.
Gently coos greeted his ears as he saw some of the immortal monkeys stare at him from the trees above before they left his sight. He soon felt small hands combing through his hair, trying to remove twigs and branches that stabbed shallowly but left the large branch stabbing through his shoulder; they didn’t have the same strength as he did to remove it. As they finished they tucked close to him avoiding any injuries. They tried to comfort him as they looked out for any danger for their injured king, cooing in mournful cries at the loss of a cub and mate. Loss of their troop that seemed to fill the whole mountain with noise. It hadn’t been this quiet in a very long time.

Note
I would like to hear about the aus and fanfics I’m going on, yes…
Okay here we go. I’m going to be talking about multiple aus so I might make different posts? We’ll see as we go.
Small note: usually if I have Mk as a shadowpeach kid they would refer to him as Xiaotian when he is raised by or in their care. Mk is there a nickname or name given by Pigsy or the rest of the crew after finding out he doesn’t remember his name or doesn’t like the original one.
First one
River lullaby
I’m actually really close to finishing the first chapter and I’m excited for it.
(Macaque didn’t die) Basically a while after the journey Wukong is trapped off ffm he can’t physically leave past the shores due to the celestial realm and jade emperor putting up a barrier. Wukong and Macaque who before any of this happened had a cub in the safety of their mountain were unaware.
Macaque had left to go find something to free his husband, in his absence some celestial warriors became very active outside of the barrier. Wukong had all but holed up into the mountains with Xiaotian and a few of his immortal monkeys who knew of the cub’s existence.
Wukong only makes an appearance if the warriors were getting too far inland after getting too comfortable with Wukong not appearing.
He sends Xiaotian outside the barrier and hopefully to safety after finding out about their plans for ffm.
With Wukong not actually being findable/reachable for a while, someone else has to take up the mantle as mentor. Nezha.
He would be one of the very few people who knows of Mk’s origins and have enough experience with Wukong. Wukong definitely thought he was winning awesome big brother points by showing off.
Meanwhile Macaque is running around helping the Mayor when the materials Lbd said she needs to boost her powers to take down the barrier. Macaque is confused about Mk and is wondering if one of the other two celestial monkeys had cubs and why Nezha is following them around.
Nezha is not big on his nephew getting hurt but is trying his best on both letting Mk find his way of doing things and not knowing the full scope of his powers. Mk is picking up on this and sometimes Nezha slips up when he meets the rest of the group they realize he knows more about Mk’s past and powers then he lets on.
