Thank you so much to @yakshi-art for working with me on another commission with me! It's always a pleasure to work with you!

This was my idea for Lucio/Montag Navarro's new look two years into his banishment from Vesuvia and living a new life in Firent for my version of his route.

Since Lucio being dead is his best, and only, cover he's going to have to do a full-style revamp to avoid questions and suspicion.

So he can't wear his iconic make-up anymore (not outside of his and Javier's bedroom), no gold, flashy colors/clothing, and I decided to get the point on his eyebrow shaved off.

Throw in a full beard, richer and darker hues for his clothes, nail polish to replace the loss of his makeup, and changing the thigh-high boots for a high-heeled ankle boot.

I also wanted to add the grey hairs and laugh lines around his eyes.

Honestly I think it would be really funny and interesting to have a route for Selasi, cause he, as far as we know, doesn’t have a major arcana card that he is represented by

So the idea of this soft baker joining MC and some of the others on this crazy magical adventure and having to deal with the devil and him being completely out of his element is so funny to me

“We have to fight the Devil.”

“I’m sorry, what?”

“We have to fight the Devil?”

The Arcana main six: how they sound when they speak / laugh / cry / etc. ~ 💫

[this wasn’t requested but i’ve been wanting to write about their voices and how they’d sound for a while!! hope yall like it, and i’d love to hear your opinions~]

Asra -

his voice in general is so light and airy and a real pleasure to listen to

sometimes it feels like he’s casting heavenly spells when he’s talking, especially if it’s a language that you haven’t heard before

when he laughs, it’s like angels coming down from above and embracing you

Asra has the kind of laugh that makes a person want to make it their life goal to make him happy

it’s so soft and melodic and like beautiful music to your ears, even when he’s laughing loudly and throwing his body on top of yours and buries his head in your shoulder in hopes of calming down

of course you try and make him laugh often and he never fails to indulge you by blessing your ears with the sound

but that’s what makes it the more heartbreaking when you hear him sob and struggle to catch his breath

it rips your chest apart but you hold him against you and calm him down with soft yet bold affirmations, but he’s still whimpering and letting out strangled sobs every now and then

when he’s angry he doesn’t really lose his cool and yell, he’s perfected the art of looking nonchalant on the exterior

his voice will become softer though, dangerously soft, yet his tone drops very low, and his words sharp

you’d know he’s back to his normal self when he brightly smiles at the end of every sentence and his tone returns to its usual airy one

Julian -

I imagine him to have a very low and sultry voice that he’s used over the years to get what he wants and who he wants any time he wants

and that’s worked for him during his most desperate situations as a fugitive, but when he’s around you, that whole flirty and sensual facade will disappear

well, under most circumstances

in reality he’s really nerdy and a mess and his voice will exaggerate what he’s saying and feeling by 99.99% which means he’s really loud when he’s excited or happy

overall it’s just a very smooth, silky kind of voice that never fails to make you smile, especially with his signature smirk

has a hearty laugh that makes your stomach drop whenever you hear it because it’s somehow so julian and just so sexy and he doesn’t even realize it because he’s too enamored by you and your jokes

it’s kinda loud and can be boisterous because he’s literally a giant, but it’s so amusing and you try to make him laugh every chance you get, it sounds like home to you

he’s a pretty ugly crier and likes to let it all out, but it’s very rare to find him crying his eyes out as his whole body shakes

doesn’t whimper but sobs really loudly and it makes you wanna hurt whomever it was that made him upset

he doesn’t let himself get angry often because he knows he’s eventually going to cry out of frustration, but his tone is usually submissive and can be taunting to make the person feel bad and retreat

Nadia -

the way she talks makes it sound like she knows everyone’s secrets and past, it’s kind of unnerving yet intriguing

her voice is silky smooth but with an edge, almost daring you to cross her or challenge her, but also like she’s amused by your company

and it’s in a good way, because she doesn’t have to act so reserved around you so she naturally lets out a laugh or an amused statement

her laugh sounds almost rehearsed and too perfect in front of a large company, because she’s been practicing these kind of mannerisms for years now

but she’s a total dork when you get her to open up and laugh freely with you, her voice is so loud and beautiful and makes you feel so important, as opposed to the quiet and short laughs when others are around

she doesn’t cry much and she certainly won’t let you catch her if she does, but either way she is a silent crier

mostly just her shoulder shaking and the occasional sharp intake of breath, but her tears fall silently as you whisper to her that you aren’t going anywhere

when she snaps and becomes angry, she never yells or gets too loud

she’s too poised for that, so it’s mostly just rolling her eyes in distaste and calmly insulting anyone who dared to try and rile her up

she keeps that soft side reserved for you and you only, and it’s always apparent in her voice that she trusts and relies on you

Muriel -

despite his gruff and intimidating stature, I like to think his voice is surprisingly soft and without an edge

but of course when he wants to be intimidating, his voice will sound rougher and more gravelly as he bares his teeth in anger

when he talks it almost always sounds like he wants to say more even after finishing a sentence, but he’s too shy and unsure to continue, especially in front of you

you’d hate the fact that he doesn’t laugh often, or at all, because the most you’d see when he’s happy is a small smile

and yet he still tries to hide it!!! like why he’s so beautiful he doesn’t even know how pretty his smile is I-

though on the rare occasion that he does let out a laugh in the open, it’s a throaty and low kind of sound that you find you instantly liked

no matter how short of a laugh it is, you assure him it doesn’t make him look vulnerable or weird, you really really like it and wish he could do more of it

Muriel will never let you see him cry, not if he can help it

his whole body shakes and you can hear rumbles and quiet sobs coming from his slightly agape mouth

won’t refuse to let you touch him and comfort him, just don’t expect him to stop crying and explain all the reasons why he’s feeling hurt to you

it’s a scary sight to see Muriel angry, which is why seclusion is the best option to avoid people altogether lol

no but he will leave the site and won’t even bother to calm himself down so he’ll probably go on a hunt with inanna to let out his frustrations

his voice is…surprisingly normal when talking to you

Portia -

as anyone would expect, she usually always sounds bubbly and cheerful, maybe a little mischievous too

her voice isn’t really soft so like her brother, she always gets loud when she’s in a good mood

always making amused comments in the most adorable voice

her laughs and giggles are the cutest because it’s like you two are little kids hiding away from the adults and sneaking up to places where you aren’t allowed

she sometimes sounds out of breath when she’s laughing to the point where she clutches your shoulders and asks why you aren’t laughing with her

when she isn’t feeling well and cries, she’ll come to you first so you’re never in the dark about her feelings

she sobs quietly and tries to talk through the tears but it’s making no sense so you just stick to holding her and stroking her hair

she doesn’t get mad often as she does get frustrated, but her pitch will be 10 times higher and some tears might slip

Lucio -

like julian, he has a kind of voice that he uses during certain situations to work in his favor, except he sounds more authoritative 

the smooth flirt will be a stuttering mess when talking to you sometimes so really he’s fooling no one at this point

he sounds boyish when he talks, even when his tone is lowered and he’s trying to remain serious

it’s flattering on him though, makes him look and sound ageless even after being hardened up for so long

his laugh is surprisingly light and full of melodic sounds, he kinda squeals too if you try to make him laugh by tickling him

when stress gets to be too much for the count, you make sure to be there for him when he’s at his most vulnerable state, and you can tell he’s about to cry when his lips tremble and his words become whispered breaths of sadness and desperation

so he’s trembling and grinding his teeth while he cries but other than that, he’s mostly quiet because he wants to hear your love flowing from your lips as you reassure him about everything

uhhhh he gets mad and loses it if anything goes against his liking, but he calms down much faster now thanks to you

but other than his occasional sarcastic snaps and retorts at nothing in particular, he’s cool as a cucumber and it’s like nothing even happened
