"Is that so? But Glen-sama really does need you. I am sure he does, no matter how closed off might be." He had never really met the head of the Baskervilles before, but surely Jabberowock was an important Chain to him, not just because of his right. The part about Jabberwock trying to tear the other Chain's eye away was a bit of a surprise. "You did that? Why?" Loir questioned. "Glen-sama is just, er, being protective, I think."

♔| “I don’t much know, but I can relate to how you’re feeling.” He smiled weakly, “Leo has always been closed off to me, can’t do much without him soon getting annoyed with my personality.” Jabberwock sighed softly, “And ever since I tried to yank Humpty’s eye out of Elliot’s head, it’s been worse.” He laughed hollowly, “Don’t blame him though. I may be a his Chain, but Elliot and Leo had a history of four years. And now that he’s alive, healthy and his Chain as well,” His wings dropped, “I’m no longer needed it seems. I’m only here for Glen’s service and he can’t do much without the other four.”

Loir pouted a little at this. He wasn't used to this kind of contact, and thus his current expression. "I don't know... maybe both. He's just been distant. I mean... I am his Chain. The fact he now has a Chain that's much more powerful than myself... Does it mean that I'm no longer needed...?"

He blinked, “You never talk to me like that is all.” The Jabberwocky sighed softly, pinching at the legally contracted Chain’s cheeks. His scarlet pools blinked. Ah, that’s his problem, “Is it because of his wish or is it because he’s been neglecting you since he received Demios?”

"What? I'm not upset. What gave you that impression." The Chain glanced over at Jabberwock before looking back at the floor gain, like he had been doing previous. "I... I'm just worried about my master."

♔| Where was this coming from? “You have more of a stable mind than I do, Loir. If I were to ever hurt you, it’d never be intentionally.” He smiled, sitting down next to him, “Now, what’s wrong? You’re obviously upset.”

"Yes, but you never know. I'm a far weaker Chain than you anyway, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble to get me out of the way if you wanted."

♔| “Loir, I’m technically a hybrid of a lizard too, no I don’t think I’ll eat you anytime soon.”

Another Chain. Loir watched the other with a slightly blank expresion as he came up to the Dormouse and placed his hands on his shoulders. Loir heard him mutter 'food.' This was Humpty Dumpty, wasn't it?

"Humpty? Are you hungry?" Loir asked. That probably wasn't a good idea, since he could be a very vicious Chain, but Humpty looked aboslutley misreable. "Do you want something to eat?"

✗The only noise that broke through the silence the chain was experiencing was the growling of his stomach. He was shrouded in silent shadows until that point happened. Then he just, did what he normally did when wanting food. He placed his hands on the shoulders of the approached new comer that decided to come at the worst time. “Food…” He murmured as he allowed his raven locks to hide his crimson hues. ✘

"Humpty is enough for Master Glen".

"Glen-sama is ill? Oh..." Loir said softly. As he knew the new Glen was still young, like his own human form seemed, he worried for the noirette. At the mention of Vincent, the Chain frowned and looked away. "Demois is with him more often then me. I don't hate her, but... She gets to spend more time with master. I  understand what you're saying, but I don't want to be away all the time. I was his first Chain."

The Dormouse allowed the other Chain to help him up, and he blinked wearily. "Okay..." A pause. "Maybe.... Maybe I can help Glen-sama too...! I-I still have my powers of sleep, so, maybe if he is restless, I can help!" And there he went, wanting to be of assistance to anyone who would listen. To help Glen too, Loir would really like that chance.

♔| He smiled softly, sitting in the grass, “I had sent Master off to bed. He was sick and I did not know where Vincent was. He’s sleeping now." He sighed softly and pushed his bangs back, “So, unless Charlotte in the others wind up doing something idiotic, I have no need to be anywhere. Why aren’t you with Vincent?" Usually Loir kept close to Vincent, at least tried to. He sighed and looked at the other, “Were you trying to stay out of his way again? Loir, you are one of his chains. Yes, Vincent has Deimos, but you should keep out of his way half the time because of that." He smiled weakly and pet the other’s head, “I know what it’s like to feel like a nuisance because if Master gets Raven and the others back, I’ll be out of the way most likely. But just try to keep close okay?" He sighed and stood up, helping the chain up as well, “It’s warm out today too, let’s get you inside so you don’t get sick."
