May Week 3

A little shoutout to Jo Firestone for inspiring me to now title my entries by month and week. Something about a sorting posts by month and week is like the goldilocks of simplicity. Not too broad that one is questioning exaclty when out of the 30 days am I writing this post. But not too specific that it becomes rather redundant. Month. Week. You get the idea. 

Finished my second biochem midterm this week and have been thrown into what I call “post-exam laziness,” where you KNOW you have another exam to study for that is coming soon, but you are telling yourself “hmmm.... maybe ANOTHER day off won’t hurt, after all, I DID just complete a hard exam!” Then sooner or later you will be studying so last minute, googling the most randomnest questions because you don’t trust yourself well enough to know that anaphase comes after metaphase in mitosis. 

I told myself this morning that I shall be productive. And I am putting it out here to confirm that. I woke up, had a good breakfast, cleaned up a bit, and am now getting ready for a potential job prospect. The pharmacist at the clinic I worked at told me I’ll do just fine, and that he believes I will get the position. That will forever be ingrained in my head. Thanks Randy, you are for real the realest one! 

Going to get ready. It will be a wonderful and productive day today.

thursdays are 6:30 am wake up calls bc i need to arrive at work by 7:30 am! but its also so magical bc i get to use my thermos and prep hot tea for me to drink bc its getting really cold outside <3

i spend less than an hour playing an online game and I feel the immense need to go outside and touch grass

and there's something so thrilling about secretly meeting up with my chairman's roommates plus that friend past midnight right after i told my chairman that I've returned safely back home. literally was running out the door after 5 minutes from return. it was insane, but it also felt so right(?) like i KNEW i couldn’t end the night like that. not after ending it on such an off-note...and besides, i only see this friend like every blue moon, mind as well make the most out of it 🤷‍♀️! 

we were on our way back from the beach and the roommate who was with us (bless him for being there. he’s so freakin’ adorable and funny) asked me if i wanted to go back to his place. i said i can’t bc my chairman’s there and if he sees me hanging out with u guys after i just told him i’m home, what is he going to think of me😭?!  we laughed it off and he then asked ‘r u SUrE, u suRE you don’t need like water??’ and then b4 I went back to my place, he pat the back of his bike as if he was in some sort of motorcycle movie and was like ‘hop on’. 

should have done it ngl lmao. i diedddd. 

just realized that blue bird will slowly delete my unsent tweets 🥺 nooooo…. 

so here’s my blurb to keep record: 

we were holding hands at the beach at 2 am, (unintentionally! the sand was rlly slippery). But he readjusted our grip more than twice so our fingers were closely interlocked. my heart stopped but did my best to keep my cool, i knew it was intentional (esp given our ‘history’). but such an act seriously made my cheeks glow madly warm even though we were facing the freezing beach-weather past midnight!! but i felt so timid, i broke the grip pretending to reach for my phone, but all i was thinking was omg what is going on!!

so here’s my blurb to keep record:

also would like to just say... in the third film when mark says “god i’ve missed you...” SHT BOY I DIED !!!!!! 

yknow that scene in bridget jones where bridget and mark say goodbye and bridget literally sends an “i miss you already” text like 30 seconds later (mood, ngl) only to turn around to see mark freakin darcy behind her and say “i miss you too” back?!?!??!  !!!!! BOY I DIED!!!!!! DIED!!!!!!! 

Have watched all three films of Bridget Jones Diary last weekend instead of doing my organic chem homework (or ecology notes…dang… 😭), but I have fallen yet again in love with /coincidentally/ ANOTHER virgo man named colin firth so I guess it’s all worth it at the end :) 

- ps: have yet to seen him in p&p but i cannot wait!!! already saw the lake scene and my vision of mr. darcy was transformed.
