i know this is a mental disorder but starving myself just makes me feel SO much BETTER

like when i eat normally or binge i want to kill myself but when i starve i just feel so good about myself

I don’t think that most of you realize that sending a nice message, anon or not, to a person who struggles from a mental illness is extremely helpful. I’ve been on this hell shit for 4 years and I’m sure I wouldn’t be here now without the support and love of the people who follow and interact with my blog. The majority of the people who blog about their mental issues, use their blog as an escape and their safe place. So getting nice and supportive messages from strangers on the internet might not sound like a big deal, but trust me it really is. Knowing that a person who’s so far away from you and doesn’t even know you irl, keeps you in their thoughts and takes the time to send you a sweet message is a huge comfort. When something bad happens in my life, I always read again all the nice messages that my followers have sent me and I decide to keep trying no matter what because I realize that there are indeed some kind souls out there who truly care about my safety. 

So please, don’t underestimate kindness, even if it’s just an anonymous message. If you want to send a nice message to your favorite blogger or mutual who struggles please I beg you, go for it. So what if your kind words are just a long paragraph? They still reach my wounded soul and keep me going. And I truly, for the bottom of my heart, am very grateful for that.
