On July 11th, my little sister (13, turning 14 in August) and stepdad came home from the store and found my mom’s dead body in the kitchen. Lisa passed away at 41 on 07/11/20. Her cause of death was not natural, and we are still waiting on a coroner’s report (4-8 weeks for the second test results to come back).
My family is very small back in Pennsylvania. It consists of my stepdad (Jeff), little sister (Hannah), grandmother, aunt, uncle, little cousin, and me. I am the only one who lives far away. I moved to Illinois, cared for by my boyfriend’s parents when I was 17. I’m currently 19.
Our home life was never perfect. Perfect doesn’t exist. But, like everyone, we struggled. Low class, homeless at times, unable to access clean water/food/medical care as a result of being low income, and inability to find reliable transportation (the money for bus fare can go a long way. $1 has a different meaning) besides walking.
I am not in that situation anymore.
However, my family is.
My stepdad used the $500 for rent to pay off various expenses related to my mother’s passing. I am giving $500. My mother wanted to be buried, but we have to cremate her. The removal from the house was $800. (To see mom’s dead body for the last time, they have to pay money. That’s covered(?) fortunately, because the man is letting them see her for 5 minutes.) And my family would like to have her sealed in an (affordable) urn.
My mother made me promise to take care of my little sister when she passes. I can’t do that, but Jeff will. I am thankful. My stepdad is a great man and loves my little sister. She loves him too. He’s the best dad we’ve ever had. He’d die for us.
By supporting them financially, it will bring a lot of peace. The death of your mother should not leave you broke, without a home or a bed to sleep in.
I love you, Mom. I’ll make you proud. I’ll keep Hannah the safest I can from far away.
If you would like to donate, please do. I would also greatly appreciate it if you can reblog this post.

Jason X was my introduction to the Friday the 13th series and the horror genre a whole and for that reason it will always be one of my favorites

Rob Zombie Halloween movies aren't that bad and several criticism it gets is nonsense, specially towards the second movie. "Laure is too problematic"... Her parents died, one of her best friends died, she almost died, her last best friend almost died, she was forced to shot the man that tried to kidnap and kill her. How the fuck you don't expect her to be like that? That's how PTSD actually can manifest on real life, specially the first years, not the 'uwu powerful badass idealized final girl.'

The slasher movie comic called Samurai Slasher by Mike Gorley would look so good as a movie series. That bad ass samurai guy is just as unstoppable and can't be killed like Jason Voorhees. They could make many movies. Do it now Hollywood.

I’m surprised no one here has mentioned Daniel Wilkinson as that slasher farm boy Ben Holister Jr the from Pithcfork 2016. He’s shirtless when an animal mask mask. And he’s fucking hot.

Billy Chapman is rlly underrated. It even made less than Black Christmas, I just wish the community gave him a little more love.

Seeing the new killer cowboy Caleb Quinn in Dead by Daylight makes me wish someone out there in Hollywood. Maybe both Eli Roth or Quentin Tarantino would make a slasher movie about an undead killer cowboy returning and slaughtering a group of friends who get stuck at abandoned western ghost town. But make the cowboy really buff and hot.

What happened to the old mods?
They loved starting drama despite my warnings not to! They didn’t follow the rules when it came to content! I barely knew ‘em... And some of the others just fell out of contact!
The ones we still have are best buds! We’ve been busy with our other blogs, however. :]c
