I discovered Author Carol Dawn a few months ago when I read her first book "BEAR" and totally fell in insta love with the characters in that book the story line was amazing the characters Strong alpha to the max in the female characters had a bit of bite to them . I instantly sort out Carol to tell her how much I loved Bears book and how long did I have to wait for the paperback. Lol well I didn't have to wait long because I now have that paperback sitting on my book shelf amungst my favorite MC books and Authors. And now that I have just finished book two in the series I'll be adding it to my collection as well. Chains book was so good I literally slowed my reading down because I didn't want it to end. This book was about Chains and Arabella . And beautiful baby Sofia.

Chains saved them in more ways then one . "Bella" brought him to his knees without even trying she was lost broken physically but was one of the strongest women he knew. As Much as I loved the story line there was a few things I wished would have been addressed in regards to Bella's Father and Mother but above all I loved the way the MC stood behind Chains and accepted Bella and baby Sofia as one of their own and how protective they were of them especially when it came to light about why Bella was on the run in the first place. I look forward to reading the next book in this series which is Slim's book and I know it's going to be just as good if not better then the two before it. I highly recommend Author Carol Dawns books .

Once again Teresa Gableman hit another one out of the Ball Park. This book was Hunter and Emily story. In trouble with his pack for breaking the most important rule I'n a shifters pack do not show humans your a shifter went right out the window when he shifted and saved Jill one of the VC warriors in front of humans and news Crew in public making national headlines and bringing their acknowledgement into the limelight . Now home to face the consequences of his actions he's surprised to find that all's not as it seems and he's now face-to-face with Emily his mate only proving to her he is a changed man is going to be one uphill battle considering everything he did to her previously before . Redemption forgiveness and acceptence are at the heart of this story and the pack coming together to face an evil enemy hell bent on taking over and overthrowing Garrett as head alpha of their pack they need to put personal issues aside and lead as one to defeat those who think they can take what doesn't belong to them . Another great read by Teresa Gableman I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I'm off to one click the next book. 😉

I turned on the coffee maker and stared at it while scratching my chest, wishing it would hurry the fuck up and fill the damn carafe. A tingle lifted the hairs on the back of my neck, but I didn’t turn.

Ears alert and senses suddenly awake, I listened to a brush of footfalls on the stairs, bringing the sassy brat into the living space much too small for the two of us.

“Coffee?” she questioned, her tone husky from sleep.

My semi took a liking to the siren’s call of her voice and stiffened, quick as fuck. “Brewing,” I snipped.

“Cream and sugar?”

I yanked open the fridge door beside me and pulled out the milk. “Sugar’s in the cabinet to the left of the stove,” I grumbled, not about to turn around for Shaun to see my tented sweats.

The cabinet opened, and I glanced to my left for a quick peek.

Fuck.

Shaun stood on tiptoe, reaching for the sugar bag on the top shelf, lifting my shirt she’d worn to bed.

Fuck. Me. My head whispered again as I imagined her long legs wrapped around my head while I buried my face between the smooth thighs she showed off.

Did she show them off out of innocence or to taunt the ever-loving fuck outta me?

Teeth clenched, I forced my attention back on the coffee maker that began to sputter and cough up the last of the water in its reservoir.

“Have you heard from my dad yet?” Shaun asked, sitting at the table rather than sidling up to me to wait for her coffee.

“No.”

She sighed. “Of all the people, why’d he have to leave me with you?” she grumbled, ticking a muscle in my jaw.

“I’m not too happy with the arrangement, either, sweetheart,” I shot back, grumpy as fuck. Turned on as fuck.

The coffee pot beeped, and I yanked the carafe out, pouring into my waiting cup. I hadn’t grabbed a mug for Shaun—and I hadn’t bothered even after hearing she wanted some.

“Help yourself,” I said, spinning away from the pot—her—and heading toward the stairs.

“Dick,” she mumbled under her breath, probably at my lack of hospitality.

If only she knew that my dick led the way upstairs. I wondered if that sight would shut her damn mouth and make her appreciate her dad even had someone he could trust while shit went down. I had no doubt Arturo would have put a bullet in Ben’s brain and taken Shaun for himself if given the chance. The fucker not only ran the goddamn drug ring in the entire New England area, but the Vipers had heard rumors he’d gotten into the skin market, too.

She ought to be grateful she’s under my protection instead.

Temptation to turn around and give her an earful—and an eyeful of my dick—slowed my steps. Ben would kill me for scaring her like that, though. He’d always tried to protect her from the truth of his business.

I burned my tongue on my first big slug of coffee, and cursed, stomping upward.
