No but the whole Murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO is hilarious because of how it uniquely exposes the farce.

Okay so like major news networks have to cover this topic. Not for some sense of journalistic Integrity or duty, mind you, they haven't felt that since at least 2016, and that's being charitable.

Anyway, they have to cover this because it's important to frame the death of a rich asshole as a tragedy. Except as it turns out, there are few things the average american has more in common than a deep-seated hatred for CEOs and Insurance Companies. so the CEO of an Insurance Company is the last person to gain any level of sympathy from the general public.

(You would almost believe there have been years or even decades of both of those things screwing over people building up to people feeling like that. /s)

So you have people trying to moralize the "horror" of celebrating the death of a "father and Husband" only for social media to get flooded with horror stories about how people like the CEO kill Fathers, Mothers and Children on a daily basis. You can't spin-doctor this guy into a martyr. And if you try, everyone sees right through it, because nobody can stomach sympathy for the CEO of an Insurance company.

Okay so instead let's focus on flooding everyone with stories about whatever we can dig up about the Murd... oh... the police haven't caught them yet and everyone is keeping a tight lip and refusing to cooperate in any way. Because they hate the guy who got murdered and would rather let the murdered get scot-free.

Okay then let's focus on the Police invest...

SURPRISE. Turns out all the Copaganda was Copaganda and the Police is complete and utter shit at solving crimes! so the only thing they can report on that is how the insanely over-budgeted NYPD is completely and totally lost as to where this person is or who they are.

*taps mic* Hey! Is this thing on! It's been forever since I've posted about characters! But if you've been following this blog since like 2017, you may remember a character named Cheryl Cherrie, an interdimensional News Reporter! Well in 2020, I had my amazing friend Jerusalem model her for a trailer to a short film and some zines! She's making a huge comeback in an upcoming zine called Mezzie! Here is some character art I made of her for the zine!

Cheryl Cherrie is meant to serve as my fourth wall breaker! She interacts with all my various characters in their homeworlds and regularly interacts with and references me. For instance, in the upcoming zine she says "It's a good day in Nsai's multiverse". Another character asks "who is Nsai?" and Cheryl replies "Some kid with a lot of power around here."

Her new design looks a little different from how Jeru modeled her. I opted for finger waves instead of the ponytail and a pencil denim skirt instead of jeans. I figured because for this installment she's not hanging out of a helicopter covering two lovers fight to the death, she can wear something a little more sit still look pretty!

She also looks more like someone's auntie now because I decided she's an adoptive auntie for some peeps in the multiverse! I don't think she has any siblings, but honestly, she hasn't revealed much to me about her past. As you can imagine, since she is a time-traveling tv personality, the parts she has shared has been filled with some angst.

In my original vision of her, she wears hot pink lipstick with a black, permed-out pixie cut. I opted for red lipstick this time around just cause I thought it'd look nicer lmao. The brown finger waves because one of my friends has soft brown hair with the same skin tone as Jeru and Cheryl and I was like hmmm that looks nice.
