Bike Sharing App
Agency: Platform Graphic Designer: Michal Škvarenina Year: 2018
In order for your users to start using the app, you have to attract them at the first time. Even with the app, in which they can rent a bike. Significant number of apps are only used once, therefore the first experience have to make a great impression on the user.
In our bikesharing app, we have decided to attract first time user with simple and clear design with easily readable information, bold visuals and with wide range of data. All this information will not only attract, but also engage bike sharing app users.

Bike Sharing App
Agency: Platform UX, UI, Visual Design: Michal Škvarenina Motion Design: Lukáš Straňák Year: 2018
The job of a visual designer is not just to make a website or an app functional; but also to make it enjoyable for the user. Why not make our bike sharing enjoyable for the user? Here is an interaction of user choosing a bike with a click to see the bike details.
The advantage of an animation is that it can solve problems in design by showing relationships between various elements, thus making it more understandable for the user.

“Good design is obvious and great design is invisible.” Same principle applies to animations. Good animation attracts user’s attention for the first time, but might be annoying after time, but great animation catches attention, but it’s user friendly at the same time. While developing the animations for the bike sharing app, I wanted to use animations that wouldn’t distract users from app itself.
While interacting with the app, users have one common goal. When they spent less time and effort to achieve it, the better experience. With our bike sharing app, user will know all the necessary information within few clicks.

Bike Sharing App
Agency: Platform Graphic Designer: Michal Škvarenina Year: 2018
Around 85% of mobile users expect pages to load as fast or faster than they load on the desktop (which is about 2 seconds). At a mobile checkout, it is even more essential to nail page load times to under 3 seconds or 57% of visitors will potentially abandon their carts. Therefore, I made bike sharing app checkout simple, so it won’t take a lot of time to load.

Prosody London: Perfume Stand
Client: Prosody London Agency: Pajama Consulting Creative Director: Keshen Teo Perfume Stand Designer: Michal Škvarenina Final visuals supplied by external 3D render company. Year: 2017 I got a chance to be a part of design team that created a new organic perfume brand – Prosody London. As a designer with a focus on digital design, creative director Keshen Teo pushed me into new areas of graphic design and I got a chance to create several luxury perfume stands from scratch. At the end of the product design process, I also designed a proposed new website for Prosody London. My main focus was to show bold visuals that connects traditional perfume brand with a ‘screen world’.

Uniqlo E-Commerce App: UI Exploration
Agency: Platform Graphic Designer: Michal Škvarenina Motion Designer: Lukáš Straňák Year: 2018
A report from Business Insider Intelligence suggested that mobile commerce will increase up to 45% by 2020. This design shows some of my ideas for horizontal swiping gestures that should help the user explore categories, related products, special offers and more content in a natural way. While in the early iPhone years, this gesture was unfamiliar to the users, nowadays it’s so widely spread that many iOS and even Android users have learned it and use it frequently.
