Gabe and Curt being in an exact tie for who's most popular....... just like the story foretold..... art reflects real life reflects art etc. except we're living in a parallel universe where ACTUALLY the most popular kid around is Kile
ohh it is neck and neck huh 👀
that parallel universe must be ours then because Kile's always the most popular with readers between the three of them 😆 for now anyway!

SUBLIME CINEMA #634 - FIRE OF LOVE
A beautiful documentary. Although I had never heard of Katia or Maurice Krafft before this film, I feel like the passion they shared for the earth and each other is universal, and so familiar. A gem of a subject for a doc - with tremendous footage, and a great, otherworldly adventure and tragedy.

There’s something in Cronenberg movies that’s about…connecting w ppl as deeply as possible. Even if it leads to harm, or doing something harmful. It’s about knowing you have a connection w a person, realizing that connection may sever, and doing something to reconnect with that person (for love). It’s insane how they’re all love stories

Succession fans shouldn't fucking forget about Nick Braun being a predator btw. We need to hold him accountable. I mean I'm still watching Succession because none of the allegations came out until the last season started airing, and with none of it being reported in the press, I wouldn't be surprised if people don't know but like. All of us were talking about it for like a day or so and then we all conveniently forgot.
Here's a Twitter thread compiling some of the allegations and here's the original tiktok that brought this to light. Do not forget this happened, and don't go back to stanning his ass.

psst hello if its not too much of a bother with your last rb can i get the romantic #47 for Nash
absolutely not a bother omg!! thank you so much for sending this in! I hope you enjoy this little snippet!
47) "I think I'm falling in love with you." "I think I'm okay with that." [x]
You're both sitting out on the porch steps of the old Reaves house--your house--you have to remind yourself every now and again, the place’s deed has your name on it, after all, due in no small part to the man beside you.
Nash sits next to you on the middle step, leaned back so that his elbows rest on the top, watching the horizon as it shifts from deep oranges to blues with the sunset. He looks more relaxed out here, just this little ways away from town. You’ve noticed he seems to breathe easier, smile quicker, laugh a little bit more. You also like to think that it might have something to do with his current company, but you never liked to jump the gun with these sorts of things and besides you’ve never been one to assume. With the type of life you’ve lived you know how easy it is to lose a good thing when you’ve got it, and Nash’s presence in your life, well, you’re not sure that the word good even begins to cover it.
“Hey,” Nash says then, bumping your knee with his own, pulling you from your thoughts.
“Hey,” you reply, bumping his knee back.
“Working away at something over there?” He asks.
You let out a soft laugh and turn away from him to look back out towards the setting sun. Nash has the unique talent of reading your mind--or maybe he just knows your tells by now.
You click your tongue. “Maybe.”
From the corner of your eye you see Nash nod. “Maybe, huh?”
“Maybe,” you repeat.
“Well, then maybe we could just get rid of all the maybes and you could just tell me what’s on your mind?” He says.
Another soft laugh escapes you before you turn back to look at him. You get the sudden urge to tip at the front edge of his hat and for once you don’t resist yourself. You poke at his hat's brim sending it further back on Nash’s head.
Nash laughs and it sends a warmth blossoming through your chest. It’s right then and there that you decide, screw it. Screw jumping the gun. Screw maybe.
“You know I am thinking about something,” you begin. It’s stalling and you know it.
“Oh yeah?” Nash asks. “So no more maybes?”
You bite your lip and decide to double down. “No more maybes.”
“Nash, I--” Your voice seems to get caught in your throat then, and you have to start again.
“I think I’m falling in love with you.” No going back now.
Nash nods and lets out a soft huff of air. It's this quiet little self-satisfied thing that seems so out of character for him, and despite the anxiety churning in your stomach, despite the feeling that you’re sitting in your own little mess, the action forces a laugh out of you.
“Well?” You ask after a long, quiet moment.
“Well,” He repeats, nodding again.
“Jesus, Nash,” you say, sounding a little harsher than you mean to. “Well, what d’you have to say to that?”
He looks at you then, the smallest of smiles slowly spreading its away across his face.
“Well, I think I’m okay with that.”
A laugh bubbles up in your throat then, ringing with relief. “You’re okay with that?”
“Well, I’d say a little more than okay. I’d say I’m pretty keen on it really. That I’m in agreement, so-to-say.”
You laugh louder this time, relief thrumming through you in droves. You bump his knee once more, before letting yourself fall against him. “Keen huh?” You ask.
“Oh, absolutely.”
