realization

i'm objectum for bass guitars. ive known this since i was in my mid teens and i back then i was the music equivalent of a "film bro", one of those "I'm not like other teens. I listen to 60s-70s classic rock." types. (grew outta that way of thinking, thank god lmao, but still like older stuff on occasion. and still proud of my weird music taste honestly 8) )

and i just didn't wanna think about it. i did know it was weird. i didn't wanna think about how weird it was.

but the very specific liking of the instrument has remained. not just the basslines, the thing that makes those basslines. i was watching a bass cover of ænima by t∞l (not new to me- seen it before + loved the song already) and i really just realised how purely, absolutely sexy it is. watching the bass be played does for me what watching poɾn does for normal people.

i still own about* 5 bass guitars and even when i was younger i had thoughts like: 'Wow 😳👉👈 i wish u were a person' when looking at them. WELL NOW I KNOW WHY.

*''about'' because theyre in storage + i have bad memory.. but my joints are fucked and i cant move my hands like i used to. would love to play again. maybe i could work up to it. for them.

objectum day (JANUARY THIRTIETH)

i usually have my phone on do not disturb- for self preservation because i get lightheaded because undiagnosed heart problems when i get really really happy/excited and i can't always get faint like that during the day sometimes i got stuff to do and no time for Floor Time!- but sometimes i don't have do not disturb on and sometimes the vibrate notification is a message from him but sometimes it's not but my heart doesn't know the difference until i check and sometimes my heart gets all flippy over nothing
