The reworked opening will be fully animated and coloured. So here's some early work from that. The story board for EP2 is completed and waiting for the opening to be completed to be worked on further. Unlike the current released EP1 it will be entirely an animatic, which means it wont have traditional frame by frame animation. EP3 will follow this kind of process and then EP1 will be reworked as well. I want all three episodes to be a good indication for what Homestuck series would look like and the opening to showcase what it would look like coloured as a fully fledged series. cred i0101101i(me) hisonokami mel / Prosciuttoon

a quick 2-pager! this is my first time lining panels in full, so i tried to mimic how dave gibbons does his lining as an extra challenge. i think it came out pretty neat.

whats that rake brush that you use :0 ?

i use clip studio paint, and using the asset store i found a rake brush that will not load anymore on my end for some reason. it does show the user tags, so i hope that helps.

here's my regular "kit" when it comes to drawing. i do not have great range when it comes to the way i draw, cause i do not ever draw with great detail and range. i am open to more brushes but i prefer those with texture and that lack pen pressure.

I legit wanna know what the fuck did Gamzee do to Karkat to leave his hive like that in his Bad ending route 😭 like not even Kanaya's room, who faught his ass and had him climbing up the walls, was that messy and that girl HAS A CHAINSAW

Like one part of me finds it ridiculous how over the top it is but the other part of me is soooo sad :c because it looks like Karkat tried to write in his computer or how he was probably attacked on his sleep with his own weapon and Gamzee leaving the :o) on his posters. Did Karkat not fight at all? Or was his attempts to fight so useless that he couldnt even leave a scratch on Gamzee?

And Kanaya's room, like her Chainsaw is barely bloody and in the corner, resting against her wardroble.

Was she not able to grab it? Was she caught by surprise? she still did a ton of damage to Gamzee even without it, but still couldnt win against him :c the dress she made for Vriska and her seeing machine has her hands, and I think she tried to contact the others through her laptop as well, but that could also be Gamzee's bloody hand
