“Her Majesty will see you now...”

This is the most pink I’ve used in a decade.  Give it up for the Dread Queen herself! A piece inspired by Lore Olympus because hot damn is that an amazing comic on sooooo many levels.  I’m reworking some techniques and playing around quite a bit so this isn’t as clean as I would like, but not bad for day project.  If you have the time, definitely swing by Webtoons and give it a read!!!

An ode to a panic attack on a spring day...

I regret ever going to college. 

I regret being a fucking dumb 20 year old when I signed up for these god damn loans.  

I regret going to a school that promised me their job-placement program would help me find work to pay the loan off.  

I regret BELIEVING THEM because all those years I was told "you have to go to college or you'll never get the good jobs".  

I regret having to take a job in the food industry in the meantime because the school NEVER took my calls or called me back to help me find work that was above $7.50 an hour bakery job to pay back said loans. 

I regret having to rely on credit because the food industry doesn't do "sick days" or any kind of benefits because it's expensive to them, and what do they care if one of their meatbags has walking pneumonia or has to pay $60 for BC just to not feel insane?

I regret being a burden to my parents because this wasn't how it was supposed to happen; I listened to the people I was told I should listen to and didn't take a single fucking moment to really tear down what I was getting into. 

I regret having to pay loans to a college that doesn't fucking exist anymore because it was proved they were for profit and didn't actually fucking care about helping their students, yet I still have to pay for a diploma no workplace takes seriously because I managed to graduate while holding a full-time job .  

I REGRET MY POOR CHOICES.  I ADMIT FAULT.  

There.... is that bootstrappy enough?!

They're becoming more frequent. I just need to remember that it's "just a bad day, not a bad life"; otherwise I'd just scream and scream until my throat would bleed.
