People do not fucking understand why those of us with cptsd get sooooo set off when we’re triggered. It’s not just emotional flashbacks of one event. It’s feeling the pain of so many different painful experiences at once. For example, if someone violates one of my boundaries, I feel the pain of every single time before now where someone has violated my boundaries. I just realized my autism would’ve been more obvious as a child (if the people around were actually informed on what autism was) but also because I was traumatized so the whole stereotype of autistic kids rambling about their special interests? I internalized all of that and did it by myself….😭like I would show the fixations through collecting and reading tons on it but I wouldn’t actually talk about it to others bc from an early age it was hammered in that no one cared and that I was annoying

my timeline on twitter is full of people from gaza saying they're starving. gaza has been deprived of food slowly and strategically for the past 600 days but it has never been like this. even sameer project have said they have not been able to distribute food for the past 3 days. i'm genuinely really scared. i try to give people actionable things to do like donations (which we should all still do) but there actively is not enough food in gaza at this moment even with extreme inflation and it feels like this news is being deliberately buried by mainstream media. it feels like i'm being forced to watch my friends, their parents, their children, people i know, people i'm talking to, waste away right in front of me
