Urgent update my little brother is dying 😭

Today we took our little brother to the hospital because he suffers from an infection that affects his breathing and causes him pain. I hope that every living conscience will help us save our young son’s life and donate any amount you can.

“My name is Eslam from Gaza, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.

Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$.

Attached for you are pictures of how our lives have changed since October 7th.

Please help. Any funds raised will be used in daily survival and if enough is raised, to be able to evacuate Gaza.

Please Help the Salah Family!

Yesterday afternoon, al-Mawasi Camp, which is considered a safe zone by the coastline, was assaulted with multiple airstrikes. The attack is described as one of the most gruesome attacks since the beginning of this genocide. The exact number of martyrs cannot be identified as some have evaporated upon direct impact with the bombs. Many have been wounded. The bombs have left a massive crater in the ground.

By sheer luck, Bilal Salah’s (@bilal-salah0) family narrowly survived this  attack. I worry for the day that luck runs out, I pray that we never see it.

So let’s help Bilal raise €110,000 before September 15th so that he can get them the amount they need in full to evacuate.  The funds will help his family purchase necessities. It will also help them relocate to a relatively safer location. Displacement costs a lot, especially with the skyrocketing prices when it comes to food and tents. 

As of writing this, €104,708 has been raised. 

There is only €5,292 left to go! 

Remember: Israel will not stop assaulting the Ghazzah Strip. The IOF refuse to give the Palestinians any ounce of peace, much less safety. This includes Bilal’s family. The more they stay back in Ghazzah, the more they put themselves in danger!

I honestly don't know what to write when it comes to Mohammed Al-Habil (@alhabil) and his family. It seems like I have written everything in the book. I have talked about him, his wife Aya, his young children, Ahmed (8), Mira (4), and Osama (6), and his elderly parents who are chronically ill. But, nothing seems to be working. A post about a man living in occupied Palestine. It is not enough when I mention that he is a kind husband and is doting father. It is not enough when I bring up the fact that he is a dutiful son.

I think the only time people has turned their attention to the Al-Habil family is when his tent has brunt down and his kids sustains injuries. Then I notice that people reblog the post right away. Granted, there are users mentioned, but still, the number increases when it comes to the notes. Donations are happening, as well! There are screenshots of the amount they have given with sentences to encourage others to do the same. But then it stops a few hours later.

Donations would trickle in afterwards. . .

It looks like that people will whip out their wallets and give away their money if Palestinians have come close to d*ath. But why do we wait for that to happen? Why can't we help when they are surviving as much as they can? Please do not wait for the last minute.

Recently we learned about how some trans folks in Japan like to use tigers as a symbol for the trans community. It's a pun: Tora [虎] is the Japanese word for tiger, and when you sound out "trans" in katakana it basically starts with "tora." To-ra-n-su [トランス].
